Without even thinking Al, after leaving Beckys room, headed to what would have been his room. He opened the door and walked in. But as soon as he got inside the doorway, he was stopped dead in his tracks when he saw who was in the room.

Al (slightly surprised): Brad? Arent you supposed to be in jail? No, nevermind, nothing is like its supposed to be anyways. Let me guess, this is your room, right?

Brad: Holden, nice surprise, and you lost the chair I see, good move. On that note, I know you might be desperate but could you not come busting into my room. And, what are you talking about jail? You know the cops dont have any reason to bust me. (Winking) Are you on something Holden? No, wait a minute, the problem is that youre not on anything and needing a fix. Am I right?

Al: I dont have time for this Brad, you know that I quit. Im not using anymore.

Al turned and started to leave when Brad went over to his draw and pulled out a bag with a couple of pills in it. Then he headed over towards Al.

Brad: Holden, hold on for a sec.

Al turned around against his better judgment and Brad discretely placed the bag in his hand.

Brad: Listen Ill spot you this time cause I know you are good for it, especially since youre married to that hot blonde, Jen Rappaport, who just got that hefty inheritance. (grinning widely)

Al (angry): Brad, I told you that Im done with this crap! Stop trying to pawn it off on me ok!

Al dropped the bag on the floor and stomped on it. Then he turned around and left the room.

Brad (yelling): Youre gonna pay for that, Holden!

After walking for a while trying to make some sense about what was happening, Al was still confused.

Al (talking quietly to himself): Man, everything is crazy. What the hell is going on? I need to talk to my dad, maybe he can help me figure out whats going on.

Al pulled out his phone and called St. James Rectory.

Reverend Carpenter: Hello, St. James. Reverend Carpenter speaking.

Al: Hey Rev, its Al Holden. Is my dad around?

Reverend Carpenter: Max, hmmNo, sorry I havent seen him. Why dont you try him at home?

Al: Home?

Reverend Carpenter: Yeah, the Mill House.

Al: Oh, righthome. No, havent tried there yet but Im gonna try now. Thanx for your help.

Reverend Carpenter: Glad to be of help, Al. And remember anytime you need to talk to anyone Im here.

Al: Thanx, Rev. Ill do that. Lata.

Reverend Carpenter: Bye, Al

Al hung up the phone.

Al (again talking to himself): I shoulda figured. Of course my dad would be still living at the Mill House. With how everything else is goin, why would I expect anything different?

Al picked up his phone again and began to dial his dads number but then realized that this was too important. He needed to talk to his dad face to face.

Later at the Mill House

Al walked up to the front door and rang the doorbell.

Al: Man, I really hope my dad is home. I really have to talk to him about this.

Just then the door opened and Al began talking before getting a chance to see who it was.

Al: Dad, thank god youre home. Theres something I need to.

Again Al was rendered speechless at who was on the other side of the door. But was no longer surprised due to everything that had happened in the last couple of hours.

Al: Roxy? I shoulda guessed that youd be here.

Roxy: Hey there LeggsWhatcha been up to? Walking again I see. You here to talk to Maxy?

Al: Yeah, is he here?

Roxy (yelling into to the other room): HeyMaxy! Leggs is here and he wants to see ya.! Oh, and hes using his legs again! (turning back to Al) Hey, thats funny, Leggs using his legs again. (laughing)

Al: Didnt I tell you not to call me Leggs anymore?

Roxy: Oh yeahright. Sorry.

At that moment Max walked into the front hall.

Max: Hey there son, glad to see you finally took your mothers and my advice and got rid of that stupid chair.

Al: Ohright. Anyways, listen dad, I really need to talk to you. You free now?

Max: Sure Al, I always have time to talk to my son. Come on in and have a seat.

Max and Al made their way into the living room. Al pushed aside a leopard print pillow that was on the couch and sat down and Max sat down next to him. Roxy followed them into the living room and also took a seat on the couch.

Roxy: So, whatcha wanna talk about Leggsoops I mean Al?

Al: Actually I was hoping I could talk to my dad alone.

Roxy: Well talk away, no one else is here.

Al (nodding his head at Roxy): I meant just me and my dad.

Roxy (finally getting the hint): Oh, right. Well Ill go pack for me and Maxys trip to the Taj Mahal and I dont mean the one in Indiana.

Al: You mean India?

Roxy: Thats what I said.

Al: Ummrightsure ya did.

Roxy made her way out of the room. Al turned towards his dad to start talking.

Al: Dad, some really messed up stuff has been happening today. I need your help and bad.
