"I was walking my dog mid-morning. This elderly couple had parked their car in front of a construction zone. This one construction worker decided that the best way to get them to move it was to scream at them at the top of his lungs. So I ran over and tried to explain to the construction worker that these are elderly people, and he eventually backed off. The couple got out of the car to thank me, and 30 seconds into the thank-you, the woman recognized me [from my role as Eddie on AS THE WORLD TURNS] and got very excited -- "It's Eddie from the TV! Eddie just saved us!" A week later, I got a four-page letter thanking me."
