Our course is approved by the MICHIGAN COMMISSION ON LAW ENFORCEMENT STANDARDS. (MCOLES).
Northern Michigan K-9 Inc. takes the time to get to know the City, Town, Village, or County in which the team will be working. We also like to get a feel of the department where this extremely important Police Tool will be used. Putting the right dog with the right handler for your community is an art. We take pride in taking the time to do this.
Northern Michigan K-9 Inc. has taken the time to completely pre-train our dogs. That means before they are placed with a handler, the dogs' detection work is finished, and their area and building search as well as tracking is already in place.
Control of a Police K-9 is of the utmost importance. No K-9 Team will leave our facility unless the handler has complete control.

Northern Michigan K-9 Inc. takes great pride in selecting social dogs that work the street. That means you can go from demonstrations in the classroom to serious felony apprehensions, all in one package.
Northern Michigan K-9 Inc. imports all of our German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois. We also have sporting breeds available.
Northern Michigan K-9 Inc. will GUARANTEE our dogs health and work ability for one year. All of our dogs are completely health checked at Michigan State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital at our expense, before they ever begin training. Our dogs are current on vaccines, de-worming, heartworm testing and heartworm prevention. As well as being maintained on a premium dog food. The health of our dogs is invaluable, without it, we wouldn't be in business.
If you are not completely satisfied with your Team, we will replace your dog.
