1977 - 1980: High school degree, from Zawia high school, Zawia – Libya.
1981 - 1985: I graduated with a B.Sc. (Bachelor of Science) in Geology from the Faculty of Science, Geological Department, University of EI-Fatah, Tripoli - Libya.
1999 - 2001: Postgraduate Research Student (Ph.D), University of Durham, Department of Geological Sciences, Durham – England. Depositional Environments, Diagenesis and Reservoir Modelling of Concession NC115, Murzuq Basin, SW Libya.
| Career Aims: |
I seek to further my career by securing a permanent position in a main stream throughout Expolration Department within Repsol Oil Operations, allowing me to utilize and expand on research skills in bothe acadamic and applied field geology study.
| Professional Experience: |
1986 - 1989: Occidental of Libya Inc. (Zueitina Oil Company), my work included log analysis, well site operations geology, preparation of final logs, and final well reports.
1990 - 1992: Zueitina Oil Company, Geoscince Laboratory. The work included core description, and basic paleontontology and geochemical evaluation of the source rock in the Sirt Basin (Zella Tarough, NC74 Area).
1993 - 1995: Zueitina Oil Company, Exploration Department. The main work included regional geological studies of the Sirt Basin, generating maps, cross-sections, source rock evaluation, maturation and operations geology (well site geologist).
1996 - 1998: Repsol Oil Operations, Exploration Department, Tripoli – Libya. General geological studies, which include log analysis, well site operations geology, preparation of final logs, geological final well reports with Strat-Log and Charisma program. Regional geological studies on the northwestern flank of the Murzuq Basin, SW Libya, with Teknica software including seis log plus, cross-sections, prospect definition, mapping and log analysis.
1999 - 2001: Postgraduate research student (Ph.D) at the University of Durham, Geological Sciences Department, studying the depositional environments, diagenesis and reservoir modelling of the Mamuniyat Formation within NC115 Concession area, on the northwestern flank of the Murzuq Basin, southwestern Libya.

2002 - Present: The main focus of my recent work has been the Upper Ordovician (Ashgillian) Mamuniyat Formation, provide study the regional characteristics and sedimentological Model of the Mamuniyat sandstone, which is the primary reservoir target in three oilfields A, B and H within Repsol Oil Operations Concession area NC115, El-Sharara Field, on the northwestern flank of the Murzuq Basin, SW Libya.
