I studied voice with Professor Dillon, who was an excellent coach. He was the director of the Rutgers Choir and Opera Workshop. I was a member in his opera workshop (Fall 1999) and did a quarter recital with him as accompanist (Spring 2000).. Professor Dillon was an accopmlished pianist in addition to being an opera singer and regularly accompanied well known singers. Sadly, Professor Dillon past away suddenly in 2005.
The director of the Rutgers/Camden Madrigal Singers that I was a member of for three semesters. She is a professor at Rutgers University and took music literature with her as well. She is an excellent singer and voice teacher. She is also noted for her research. I was in a vocal practicum that Dr. Baird taught (Fall 2000).
