*Slight History*
NME is a four-peice death metal band out of Windham Center, Connecticut. The members of NME are: Sam, vocals/lyrics, Josh, drums, Mike, bass, and Justin on guitar. The band has been together for several months now but all of us, minus Sam, have years of experience under our belts. The band started last year when Josh, Mike, and Justin were in a band with Tanner Hall as lead guitarist. And they were going to get Darek P. to sing. Unfortunately the band split up within months because Tanner sucked at life and because he liked to talk shit on other local bands and gave the band (then known as Hi-Terra) a bad name. The band finaly broke up when Josh left home for several months and Tanner stole equipment from his house. After the demise of Hi-Terra, the ex-members, Justin, Josh, and Mike got back together and decided to start a new band, a band with good influences, that would play good music instead of bad metallica songs and poppy nu-metal shit. The band began to assemble everything needed and soon had all the equipment and everything but a vocalist. Then Justin suggested a friend from school named Sam who was interested in singing and writing lyrics for a real metal band. They talked to him and read his lyrics and soon he signed on as the vocalist. NME promises to be one of the heaviest bands in our area, unless you want to count Tanner's new "metal" band that, as he puts it, sounds like a cross between mudvane and evanesscence... We are just getting started but have already made alot of progress and will be doing shows by this summer.
