MAJOR PROFESSIONAL INITIATIVES AND ACCOMPLISHMENT

 

      Introduce a new course ‘Wave Theory (EEE-6804)’ at EEE Department, DUET, Gazipur for postgraduate students, which covers the fundamental theories of wave equations and numerical simulation methods of wave phenomenally using computers

      Created new course ‘Antenna and Propagation for Wireless Communication (EEE-6805)’ at EEE Department, DUET, Gazipur for postgraduate students, which covers basic theory, application and design principles of antenna and antenna arrays utilized in communications and modelling aspects of the wireless communication channel. This subject also describes the physical behaviour of radio wave propagation at radio and microwave frequencies, including terrestrial, space and mobile communication system, overview of modelling approaches and problems faced with mobile communication systems

      Conceived, revamped and developed microwave engineering lab of EEE Department, DUET, Gazipur. An anechoic chamber of 16ft x 16ft x 9ft, antenna training system, waveguide experiment setup, spectrum analyzer (9kHz-3GHz, ESA-E series, Agilent technologies), network analyzer (300kHz-3GHz, ENA-RF series, Agilent technologies), etc. were assembled and established in this lab

      Advised and supervised postgraduate student’s theses/research and undergraduate student’s theses/project from 2002 to 2006 at EEE Department, DUET, Gazipur

      Made a lot of introductory documents for LaTex, gnuplot, Tgif, FORTRAN, Emacs editor, etc. for the graduate and undergraduate students at TAKADA lab, EEE Department, Tokyo Tech, Japan

      Organized weekly seminar to give good suggestion as well as the encouragement to graduate and undergraduate students at TAKADA lab, EEE Department, Tokyo Tech, Japan
