Release: November 2002

Doom III, Quake 4 and Duke Nukem Forever are expected early next year.

Unreal Tournament 2003

It starts with the visuals. The graphics are awesome. A lot of the interiors are now less sci-fi and more techno-gothic. The walls have gained a lot more bumps. First time you start the game it makes you stop and look at the beauty of the environment. It seems like the number of polygons has doubled on every corner.

The characters are incredible. Every character is modelled so detailed. Now they look more like living beings than ever before. They move now much smoother and trickier, too.

The game has gained a lot of tempo. Long time UT players may have to adjust a bit to the new sequel. Quake III players will maybe think that this is a new Quake sequel, just because UT2003 feels more like Quake III than UT. But except the gameplay everything else is well known from the previous sequel. This time UT is not ground-braking and innovative like the first version of it.

While the single-player deals with one-on-one shooting with other characters, most players will find the instant action mod more interesting. Of course the ones with cable internet connection will find online shooting much more interesting.

Id's Doom III is still to come, but for now we can say that UT2003 has the best looking graphics of all PC games. Unreal II which is expected later this year will have pretty much the same graphics.

This game is promising a lot of exciting hours for every gamers' heart.
