Hell, there wasn't even general plot for Instance 01 until about five seconds before I decided to start writing something. I didn't even know where it was going until about 06.
But that's okay, because Natsume-san is a good muse and she's determined to let Winter Fall run it's course, unlike Amadare, which is planned out relatively well, yet hasn't really gotten anywhere.
In any case, if there was any outside inspiration, it came from the L'Arc~en~Ciel song of the same name. But even then, that's more of just inspiration for the title. So there!
