YADDLETHORPE, A small village and township in Bottesford parish on an acclivity above Bottesford Beck, 7 miles W. of Brigg, contained 133 souls in 1811, and has 730A. 3R. 6p. of land, belonging to Lord Beauchamp (lord of the manor,) and several smaller freeholders.
