Julias Apartment
Julia: So you and your sister want to move out of Sonnys building?  Personally I can say Im flabbergasted.
Kristina: (sarcastically) Of course you are.
Julia: Just so I know.  Why?  Why would you like to do such a thing?
Kristina: I can see youre not a fan of Sonny.  No wonder youre friends with Ned.
Julia: Ned and I are friends for many reasons.  Sonny we agree on because of my sister.
Kristina: Do you really think Ned has a reason to fear for Alexiss safety?  Julia presses her lips together.
Julia: Sonny cares more for other peoples lives than his own, Ill give him that, but not so much that he understands danger.  He just doesnt understand the danger that he puts people in.  Finally these women have not choice but to pretend they never knew him or get killed.  The problem is the women dont see the danger.  Take Karen (last name) for instance.
Kristina: Who?
Julia: Do you know Scotty Baldwins daughter?
Kristina: Ive met Serena.
Julia: Well Karen ended up on drugs and stripping for him.  Kristinas mouth drops.  G-d knows how many times Robin Scorpio ended up in a sheet of bullets all because she was in love with Jason Morgan.  Julia sighs.
Kristina: Whats wrong with Jason?
Julia: Nothing, hes a nice guy and he would have been long married to Robin right now if she had felt safe with him.
Kristina: So back to the subject of moving
Julia: Oh right, well, its your choice.  Alexis has made hers.
Kristina: So Im staying here.
Julia: I dont care, I just dont want Alexis bringing Sonny over here.  Kristina puts her hair behind her ear.  Dont worry you have all night to make the decision.

Kellys Diner
Liz: Tell me that you two arent my new waitresses.
Olivia: Girl, deal with it. Were working with you and you have to share your men with us.
Liz: I dont own Lucky or Nikolas but if you havent noticed so far, they hate you.
Olivia: Jealous
Zander: Hey girls.  Oooh Courtney, Olivia, those are some nice aprons!
Courtney: They look ridiculous.
Liz: They look fine.  Although, some people are going to need to wear longer skirts.
Olivia: Are you talking to me, cause I think I look sexy in them.  Zander swats her butt.
Zander: I like them.  Liz frowns.  Oh come on Elizabeth, give them a break.  Olivia smiles.
Liz: Whatever, fine.  Okay but you cant give the customers attitufe.
Courtney: Dont worry, we wont.
Olivia: Especially the cute ones.
Zander: Such as moi?
Olivia: Especially you.  She smiles seductively.
Liz: Zander
Zander: I should go, Lizzies whining.
Liz: Hey I tried to help you and Emily dont be mean to me!
Zander: Im not with Emily anymore.
Olivia: Who are you with?
Zander: No one.. yet.
Courtney: Olivia, talk to Zander later!  Olivia stares at Courtney for a moment but smiles.
Olivia: Were living upstairs, why dont you come by later?
Zander: Maybe I will.  He walks away.
Liz: Are you two ready yet?
Olivia: How hard can this be?  Do you really need to teach us?
Lucky: You are going to lose this job so quickly.
Liz: (relieved) Lucky.  Hey why dont you try it out then?
Olivia: Fine.  Courtney?
Courtney: Lets start with that table over there.  They leave.
Liz: Thank you for saving me from them!
Lucky: Was it that bad?
Liz: Olivia is such a slut.  They drive me crazy.  They hate everyone of the female sex.
Lucky: Neither of them had very good mothers.
Liz: Neither did I
Lucky: Yeah and remember what you were like when you moved here?  Liz thanks for a moment.
Liz: I was pretty awful wasnt I?
Lucky: Yeah, I hated you at first.  Liz nods.  But look at you now.  Just give them a chance.
Liz: Maybe I just dont want them to end up in the same place I did.  Lucky touches her arm.  No one should have to go through that.  Lucky takes her in his arms.
Lucky: So well do our best to make sure that doesnt happen.

Brendas Cottage
Julia and Lois both sit on the step as Brooke plays with Barbies on the floor.
Lois: Are they coming?
Julia: Of course.  Were just early.
Lois: Have you found Livy yet?  Julia shakes her head.
Carly: I didnt realize I would be here again.  Lois turns around and stares at her.
Julia: Carly Corinthos, meet Lois Ashton.  Is that what you go by?  Lois shrugs.  Well this is the group so far.  Is this Michael?  Carly nods.
Carly: Michael, you dont remember but you used to live here.  Michael nods.  Do you see that girl over there?  Thats Brooke!  Im sure shed love to play with you.
Julia: At least Brooke will have someone to play with.  Lois nods.
Lois: This will be one busy house.  Kristina walks in.
Kristina: Julia, Alexis is not going to be here.  Carly takes a step back.
Julia: Kristina Cassadine, meet Carly Corinthos and Lois she glances at Lois.  Lois Cerullo.  Im sure youve all met.  Kristina glances from person to person.  She notices Michael and Brooke playing on the ground.  Lois glances at Julia and stands up.  She walks over to Kristina.
Lois: Its nice to meet you Kristina.  Im already fond of your sister.  Carly and I both must understand her fear of marrying into the Quartermaines.
Kristina: Theyre horrible in-law arent they.
Carly: Theyre pure evil.
Lois: Always trying to take your children away from you.  They smile.
Carly: Out here we should be safe from them.
Lois: I hope youre right.  Kristina glances at Julia.
Kristina: So my sister will stay with you.
Julia: If thats what you two prefer.
Carly: I think that would be perfect.

Jakes Apartment
Jake: Come on in.
Alexis: Wow this place looks beautiful.  He helps her out of her coat.  Mmmmm, it smells good.  Jake walks away with the coat.  Wow, Im so glad to finally know someone who cooks.  He comes back with a bottle of red wine and pours some for each to drink.  He then pulls out a chair for her.  Oh thank you.  Jake sits down across the table from her.
Jake: This is in celebration and a thanks for your great work today.  He lifts up his glass.  To you Alexis.  She blushes.
Alexis: To great Quartermaine screw ups.  They clink their glasses and drink.  Wow, thats some good wine.
Jake: Try the tortellini.  She takes a bite of food.
Alexis: You are a very good cook.
Jake: I tried, but thank you.  Its nice to be able to do something nice for someone who does so much for me.  They eat.
Alexis: Im going to stay away from the subject of the Quartermaines tomorrow.
Jake: Because of Ned Ashton?  Alexis sighs, chewing.
Alexis: Lets not even discuss him.  They eat for a bit.  No tomorrow well build you up.
Jake: So Im really going to be feeling good about myself tomorrow night.  She laughs.
Alexis: I suppose.  She smiles.
Jake: You should smile more.  Its very beautiful.  Alexis blushes.  It would really help win juries over.
Alexis: Yes, but I dont know how professional it is.
Jake: It certaintly won me over.  She smiles.
Alexis: It did?  He puts down his silverware.  She looks up at him warily.  He holds out his hand and she takes hit. He pulls her up out of her chair.
Jake: Do you like to dance? She bites her lip smiling.  He picks up a remote and presses play.  A Russian waltz plays.  He kisses her hand.  Dance with me.  They begin to dance.
Alexis: This is nice.  Youre doing a very good job keeping me calm during this trial.
Jake: What else could be more important to me than my lady lawyer and let me tell you, you are a lady.  She smiles and stares into his eyes as they dance.  The waltz comes to an end and stops.  I can play it again.  She touches his cheek.  They lean in and kiss.  She wraps her arms around his neck weaving her finger in his hair as she kisses him harder.  He wraps his arms around her, hugging her to him.  Finally she leans back and smiles at him.  Then she lays he head on his shoulder.
Alexis: Youre wonderful, do you know that?  Jake smiles.
Jake: No, but its nice to hear.

Kellys Diner
Lucky: Can I get some coffee?
Courtney: Sure.  She picks up the pot and pours some for him.
Lucky: So things are going well here?
Courtney: Now that your girlfriend realizes that I can handle waitressing this joint.  Lucky smiles.
Lucky: Shes just a little nervous.  Shes not my girlfriend anyways.  Courtney shrugs.
Courtney: Whatever works for you.
Lucky: Look Courtney, I think youre a cool girl.
Courtney: Woopee for me.
Lucky: Just let Liz go, seriously, sometimes she could use a chill pill.  Courtney rolls her eyes.  Lucky smiles.  He yanks on her sleeve.  Here sit with me. Courtney sits.
Courtney: What do you want from me?
Lucky: Nothing.  I just dont want you to think I dont like you.
Courtney: What does it matter what I think?  You have enough friends of your own.  Look Lucky
Lucky: Just give me a chance.  Courtney rolls her eyes but says nothing.  Well thats good for now.  So tell me what you used to do at your old school.
Courtney: My old school was a piece of shit.  The classes were awful and the teachers sucked.  It got me into college but I couldnt pay for it, so Ive been working ever since.  Even my basketball scholarship wasnt enough.
Lucky: You played basketball?
Courtney: Yeah.  She puts her hair behind her ear.  Well I used to.  I won full tuition but mom wouldnt pay room and board, so that was that.  No basketball.  She sighs.
Liz: Lucky, Courtney is everything okay.  Courtney stands.
Courtney: Im sorry.  He asked me to sit.
Liz: No, thats fine.  I was just being awful yesterday.  Theres really no one here anyways.  Wheres your companion?  Shes supposed to be working now.  Courtney shrugs just as Olivia walks down the stairs with Zander following her.  Theyre holding hands.  Good of you to show up on time.
Olivia: I try my best.
Liz: Yeah well youll have to try your best somewhere else.  Youre fired.
Olivia: What?!  That was one day, give me a break.  I gotta pay my part of the rent somehow.
Liz: Im sorry.  I just cant have you working here, being late all the time and annoying the customers as you did last night.  Olivia rolls her eyes.  Lucky folds his hands and looks down.
Courtney: Elizabeth, we make a great team.  Liz shakes her head.
Liz: No youre a good waitress, shes crap.
Zander: You cant give her another chance?
Liz: Dont defend her just cause youre sleeping with her!
Courtney: Did you stay here all night?  Zander nods.  Liz wrinkles her nose.
Olivia: Whats it matter to you guys huh?  Why do you guys always have to be in everyones business?  Lucky looks up at Liz who shrugs.
Liz: Forget it, youre out.  Find something else to do, or someone.  Olivia grabs Zanders hand and they leave.
Courtney: Olivia wait!  She runs after them.  Olivia!

Lauras House
Luke: Laura!  Laura!  Laura walks down the stairs.
Laura: What is it Luke?  Lulu just left for school so I was ironing.  What is with all the screaming?
Luke: Hey Laura.
Laura: By the way it was very nice of you to show up last night when you said you would.  I dont think Lesley Lu wants to be Daddys little girl anymore.
Luke: Aw Laura come on.  I was busy.
Laura: Doing what?  Luke sighs, taking off his jacket.
Luke: Jerrys getting married so I was just trying to help my sis.  Look Im really sorry.  Laura sighs.
Laura: No Luke, its okay.  I didnt know.  She walks over to him.  Is Bobbie okay?
Luke: Yeah, shell be fine.  Laura nods.
Laura: Oh okay.  She shakes her head.  Well what can I do for you now?
Luke: Nothing, I came to see my wife.
Laura: Ex-wife.
Luke: Believe what you like.  He glances around.  We should have another one.  Laura glances around, not catching his drift.
Laura: Another what?
Luke: Kid!  Another kid!  Come on, were on our way to getting married, what would be better than another kid?  Laura looks at him strangely.
Laura: Luke, no.  Luke youre crazy.  How old do you think we are?
Luke: Are we too old?  I dont get it!  Lulus only 7!
Laura: Luke!
Luke: Are you too old?
Laura: No!  She presses her lips together.  I cant believe were having this discussion.  I cant.  She glances up at him.
Luke: Laura I really want this.  Laura  He walks over to her.  Laura.  He takes her face in his hands and kisses her.  Laura I love you.  All I want is another perfect baby.  He kisses her again.  She stares at him.  Arent Lulu and Lucky wonderful?
Laura: Are you serious?
Luke: I am.  She stares at him for a moment.  And Im going to prove it to you.  Meet me tonight at Lukes. Okay.  Laura nods.  Youll be there?  Laura nods.  Okay.  He picks up his jacket and walks out.

Cottage
Carly: Has anyone seen my pink shawl?
Kristina: Pink is not your color Carly.  Lois walks out of the kitchen.
Lois: Does anyone want breakfast?
Kristina: Im going to enjoy living with someone who cooks.
Carly: Can you give Michael some breakfast?
Lois: Brooke and Michael are already eating.  I think theyre really learning to like each other.
Carly: Good.  The doorbell rings.
Kristina: I got it.  She opens the door to find Jason standing there with his hands behind his back.  Jason!  She smiles.
Carly: Jason?   I didnt realize that you were staying in town.
Jason: Well Sonnys still in the hospital for the moment so someones gotta take care of him.  Michael and Brooke walk out of the kitchen followed by Lois.
Lois: Hey there Jason.  How are you?
Jason: Im doing good.  He looks at Michael.  Is that Michael?  Carly walks over and picks him up.
Carly: Yeah this is my little man.  Michael holds her tightly.
Jason: You know, why dont we talk outside Kristina?  Kristina notices the tension in the room.
Kristina: Good idea.  They walk out.  Carly looks back at Michael holding him tightly to her.
Michael: We going to see Daddy?  Carly bites her lip and puts him down.
Lois: Carly, who is his father?
Carly: Well AJs his father, biologically, but Sonny adopted him.  However Jason was like a father to him for about a year or so.
Lois: Usually getting children out of the Quartermaine household is a good idea, but Carly, is Sonny really the best idea?
Carly: Sonny loves Michael.  He doesnt think of Michael as a possession but a son that he wants to love and care for.  She stares at Lois.  Besides, I hear through the rumor mill that youre marrying Jerry Jacks.
Lois: How do you know that?  Kristina walks in slamming the door behind her and tearing up a rose, tearfully.  Lois and Carly glances at each other but decide to give Kristina a moment.
Carly: Uncle Luke told my mom, and Bobbie told me.  Lois presses her lips together.
Lois: Jerry is wonderful, he would move heaven and earth for Brooke and I.
Kristina: But why is Jerry so much better than Ned?  Carly raises an eyebrow.
Lois: Because as Ned will agree with you, I loved Neds wild side, but the side that he had when he was in Port Charles I couldnt live with.  Thats the side your sister fell in love with.  Besides, as much as we loved each other, he never loved me as he did Alexis.
Kristina: How do you know that?
Lois: My question is how as Alexiss sister you dont see that.
Kristina: My sister  If they really love each other as you and Jax seem to think, how come they cant seem to get back together?
Carly: Because Alexis is in love with Sonny.
Lois: No hun, shes not.
Carly: Humph   Well come on little man, we need to go see Daddy.  She picks up Michael and walks out the door.  Lois watches her go and sighs.
Lois: That girl needs to learn to trust people.  She looks back at Kristina.  So whats with you and Jason?
Kristina: Nothing
Lois: Thats how its gonna be?  Were going to be three housemates that cant talk to one another?
Kristina: I thought Jason was someone that hes not.
Lois: You and he are dating?
Kristina: We went out once, one date.  We kissed once.  And then I found out everything that he wasnt telling me.
Lois: But youre not able to forget him.
Kristina: I really dont want to talk about it now.  But maybe later.
Lois: Shopping.  Thats what we should do.  Brooke, you want to go shopping?  Brooke smiles and nods.  Kristina smiles.
Kristina: That sounds like a great idea.

Hornsby Home
Felicia: Hi, Susan?
Susan: Hi, can I help you?
Felicia: Susan, Im Felicia Jones, are your parents here?  Jenny runs in the room.
Jenny: Felicia!  Felicia walks in and they hug.  Wow, it has been a long time.  How are you?  Last I knew your last name was Scorpio.
Felicia: Yeah that didnt last.  She frowns for a moment.  Im doing well though.  Im actually here to see Paul.
Jenny: Why do you want to see Paul?  Paul walks over.
Paul: Hey Felicia, this is an unexpected but pleasant surprise.
Susan: Dad, Im going to go out, kay?
Paul: No Susan, not now.  Susan, this is Felicia Jones.  Remember when we lived in Port Charles.  Susan nods.  Well, Felicia became good friends with your mother.
Susan: Its lovely to meet you.
Felicia: Susan, do you know Emily Quartermaine?  Shes about your age Im sure youd love to meet her.  Maybe when were done here, you can meet her.  Paul presses his lips together.
Paul: I dont know about that one.  Shes a Quartermaine?
Felicia: Shes Monica and Alans adopted daughter.  Jenny nods.
Jenny: I remember hearing about that.  Susan, can you go make sure that Matthew, Jill and Carrie arent getting into any trouble?  Susan sighs.
Susan: Fine.  She walks away mumbling.  You never make Sly do any of this.
Paul: So why the sudden visit?
Felicia: Tracys back in town.  Jenny and Paul glance at each other.
Paul: I dont see how I can help you with that.
Felicia: Actually I want to know about your son, Dillon.  She didnt bring him with her.
Paul: Dillons about ten now, hes probably stuck in some boarding school.   He glances at Jenny.  Maybe I should try to get him out.
Jenny: I dont want you getting into any trouble Paul.  I thought we had decided that it was best if we both let this go.  Dillons just like his brother Ned Im sure, if Ned can make it through, Dillon can too.
Paul: She just showed up.
Felicia: Out of the blue.
Paul: Who sent you to find me?
Felicia: Well Im actually doing a little detective work myself along with Luke Spencer.  The mansion was bomb last week as Im sure you know, so Tracy showing up now is perfect timing.  I just would like to meet Dillon.
Paul: It cant hurt to go back to Port Charles now.
Jenny: Minus the fact that we now have three children of our own plus my nephew and your daughter.  Paul sighs.  He looks at Felicia.
Paul: Would I be of any use?
Felicia: I hope so.  He looks at Jenny.
Paul: Ive got to.  Kids, come out here!  Three children come running followed closely by Susan.  He stares at them for a moment.  Sly!  They hear a noise from above and slowly a young man descends down the stairs.  Port Charles here we come.

Neds Room
Ned on the phone.
Ned: Yes I realize that Im not there.  Grandfather, Skye can handle herself in court without me.  Yes I understand that.  Right.  Theres a knock at the door.  No Grandfather.  He walks over and opens it.  Peter is standing there.  Hold on a second.  Is this going to take a while?  Peter shrugs.  Grandfather, yes I know.  I need to go.  Yes.  Ill talk to you later.  I understand.  Bye.  He slams the phone shut.
Peter: Hi.  He glances around cautiously.  I havent been able to tell Emily about them.
Ned: Who?
Peter: My parents.  Ned nods.  I dont know if I should.  So I ended up here.  Because youre like family Ned.  You know everything thats going on.
Ned: Im not family.  Youre dating my little sister.
Peter: And Im Alexiss cousin.
Ned: And in the end, mine.  They stare at each other.
Peter: I have to know.  Have you heard anything?
Ned: Jax and Nikolas arrived safely, but they havent discovered anything.  I havent heard from Chloe again either.  Peter runs his hand through his hair.  Im going to advise you of something.  Talk to Alexis, talk to your cousin and move to Wyndemere.  There you can have all the Cassadine bodyguards you like.
Peter: I didnt come to ask for bodyguards.
Ned: Theres nothing else I can do to protect you.  Thats my job.  I need to do it for Emily, for Alexis and, as the caretaker of the Quartermaine family, for you.  Peter looks down.  Your mother was my grandfathers favorite niece.  There is nothing he wouldnt have done for her.  To this day, he continues to loath the Cassadines as your mothers killer.  As her son, Grandfather would love you.  Knowing that she was alive would make him even happier.  However, I cant tell him.  You cant tell Em.
Peter: Are they really that awful?
Ned: I never met them.  I was at boarding school when your mother was here and they were alive, but I trust Alexis.  They lived with her, if shes afraid, then she has reason to be.  I would send her over there in a heartbeat to find Chloe, except for the fact that she would then be facing danger.  So heres your job.  While Alexis protects you and Kristina, you must protect her.  Keep her from believe she can go over there and take her to Wyndemere.
Peter: You dont like me much do you?
Ned: What does that matter?
Peter: Youre Emilys favorite relative, I would like it if you liked me.  Ned touches Peters shoulder and walks away
Ned: Right now, it cant matter how I feel about you as long as I protect those I love.  He stares out the window.

Julias Apartment
Julia: Hey there Alexis.  It seems that I never see my roomie.  Alexis sits on the couch shuffling through papers.
Alexis: Well Im in the middle of an important trial right now, otherwise I would take time so we could get to know each other.  Im lucky to be here this early today but I finished with all the witnesses I have for today, so Im done until tomorrow.
Julia: Do you want to go out to dinner?  Alexis puts down her papers and looks up at her.
Alexis: I really wish I could Julia.  I do.  She glances back down at her work.  I just She rubs her forehead.  Julia walks over and leans on the edge of the other couch.
Julia: If theres anything you need.  Theres a knock at the door.  She sighs and walks over to the door.  Alexis picks up her pencil again and writes something down.  Lois, Brooke and Kristina are at the door.  Hey guys.
Lois: Hey gals.  We were bored so we went on a shopping spree and even bought some things for you two.  Alexis turns around taking off her glasses in the process.  Seeing Kristina, she smiles.
Alexis: I see you like your new place.
Krsitina: And I notice you havent changed.  Alexis sighs and glances back at her work.  Which is why we came to take you two out to dinner.
Alexis: Kristina its the middle of trial.  Dont you know how important that is?
Lois: I completely understand we were just going to invite Julia but Kristina really wanted you to come.
Brooke: Alexis why dont you come?   Alexis looks at the little girl.
Alexis: G-d, her dimples are the same as her fathers.  Kristina smiles and glances at Lois.  You do intend to forever keep me from my work, dont you Kristina.  She stands.  Well give me a few minutes.  She walks away.
Julia: I was wondering when I was ever going to get her out of the apartment.  She picks up Brooke.  Im going to keep you dear as my secret weapon.  Brooke smiles.  She hugs Brooke to her.  Do you remember when Olivia was this small?
Lois: Theyve got to grow sometimes.  Julia looks at Brooke and sets her down.
Julia: What are you going to do when this little one grows up?
Lois: The same as you, well not the boarding school, but I will do the best I can.  Thats all you ever did with Olivia.  Alexis walks out.
Alexis: So what did you bring us?
Jake: Well I brought these.  Lois and Kristina turn around.  The door was open so I figured that it was all right to come in.  Alexis smiles.
Alexis: Julia, Lois, Kristina, this is my client Jake Campbell.  Jake, this is Julia Barrett, Lois Cerullo, and my little sister Kristina.  And this is Brooke Lynn Ashton, Lois and Neds daughter.
Lois: You know Ned.
Jake: I dont think weve ever been formally introduced.  Alexis walks over and takes the flowers.
Alexis: Theyre beautiful.  She smiles looking at them.  No ones brought me flowers in awhile.  She kisses Jake and walks away with the flowers.  Julia and Lois glance at each other.  Why dont you guys go ahead without me, Jake and I need to prep for tomorrow.  The three shrugs and slowly leave.  Lois takes Brooke along with her.
Jake: Ned didnt show up in court today.
Alexis: Thankfully.  He was starting to get on my nerves.  Jake walks over and puts his arms around her waist.
Jake: What about me?  She smiles up at him.
Alexis: You could never annoy me.
