Carlys Club
Emily: I didnt realize Carly had a club, I hope its good.
Gia: Its great, we come here a lot.
Liz: Yeah, cept Gia cant look at the guys so she gets mad.  She winks at Gia.
Gia: No, Im just fine with Nikolas.  Where is he anyways?
Emily: Hell be here, hell be here.  Do you really keep asking that?  Toby walks over.
Toby: Drinks?
Liz: Great.  Emily, Liz, Lucky and Gia each take a beer.
Toby: So which of you wants to dance with me?
Olivia: Why would you want to dance with those girls?  Youll never get anything from those virginous pampered rich girls.
Gia: Hey youre rich too!  Dont tell me that you arent provided with everything through Barrett Industries!  Olivia rolls her eyes.
Olivia: Hey Im not the one who walks around calling myself a princess.
Gia: Well I will be when I marry Nikolas.
Olivia: I would love to be the first one to wish him good luck, and lots of it.
Liz: Gia, just let her go.
Courtney: Lets go, Im sure there are other guys to dance with.  She glances around.
Toby: Im sorry I didnt get your names.
Olivia: Im Olivia Barrett and this is Courtney Matthews.  Toby looks back at Emily.
Toby: The same Courtney I was supposed to meet before?  Emily looks at Courtney and shrugs. Courtney raises her eyebrows.  Toby turns back to Courtney and Olivia.
Toby: (uncomfortably) Well Im Toby Banebridge.  Olivia gives him a seductive look.
Nikolas: Glad you two could make it.  He puts an arm around Courtney and Olivia.  Gia throws him a dirty look.
Emily: Whats wrong Peter?  You didnt like meeting with your family again?  Peter and Nikolas exchange a look.
Nikolas: Lets just dance.  Liz and Gia exchange a look.  Gia turns to Nikolas and smiles.
Gia: Well come on then!  She holds out her hand.  Nikolas smiles and takes it as she leads him onto the dance floor.
Peter: Emily, may I have this dance?  She laughs.
Emily: Of course!  They head to the dance floor.

Tenth Floor PC Hotel
Reginald: Lois!  It has been so long!
Lois: Thankfully.  Wheres Ned?  Reginald points down the hallway.  Thanks.  Hearing her, Ned walks out of his room holding Brookes hand.  There you are punkin, how was your stay with Daddy?
Brooke: It was fun Mommy.  Do you want to stay with Daddy too?  Ned smiles and looks up at Lois.
Ned: How about dinner at least?  Lois purses her lips but nods.
Lois: Fine, but we do need to be getting back home.
Ned: Already?  How about if I keep her a little longer?  Lois rolls her eyes.
Lois: She missed two days of school, how many more days would you like her to miss?
Ned: How does she ever stay in school considering how much you take her out to go on you many tours for L&B?  Lois sighs.   Fine fine, just dinner.  Lois looks him over
Lois: You look much better since I saw you last.  Ned smiles.
Ned: Well it does help to be out of the hospital.  Or are you talking about the last time I saw you.
Lois: I think the last time I saw you was when you and Chloe dropped off Brooke after your wedding.  Ned nods and looks down.
Ned: Glorias always been at your place every other time.
Lois: Thats cause I trust you.  Usually I make sure Im home when she gets home from somewhere.
Ned: Well thats good to hear.  He looks down at Brooke. Go get your things together hun.  Brooke runs off.
Lois: That gorilla sleeps by her side every night.
Ned: I didnt get that for her, Alexis did.  Lois nods.
Lois: I just wanted to mention that I really like Alexis.  Ned looks confused.  Im getting married Ned.
Ned: You are?  To whom?  Lois smiles.
Lois: Brooke and I went to a tour in Austrailia a year ago and I met this really great guy there.  I know I shouldnt say that to you.
Ned: Is he a singer?
Lois: No, hes Jaxs brother, Jerry.  Neds eyes open wide.
Ned: Youre getting married to Jerry.  Lois smiles and nods.  No, no way.  You thought the Quartermaines were bad, hes worse.  Lois, hes in with the mafia.  Hes not a good man!
Lois: Hes good to me.  His mother is so excited about the wedding.
Ned: Lady Jane always is!  She was excited when Alexis married Jax!
Lois: Well those fake marriages were a stupid idea.
Ned: It was the only way!  Lois sighs.  Fine fine, I really do want to be happy for you because the part of me that still loves you hopes that you will find happiness in your life.  But how is that you think its okay for our daughter to be around Jerry Jacks but not me?
Lois: It was never you.  It was your family.  Do you want to have Brooke more often?  You never mentioned that.
Ned: Thats because I thought you were keeping her safe
Lois: Fine, pick her up next weekend.
Ned: No, why dont you move back here?  Jerry can see his brother and I can be with my little girl more often.
Brooke: Im not a little girl.  Ned turns around and smiles.  He walks over and picks her up and swing her around.  Daddy!  She giggles happily.
Ned: I love you my Brooke Lynn.  She puts her arms around his neck.
Brooke: I love you too Daddy.

Outback
Felicia: Hi can I help you?
Tracy: Yes Ill have a brandy.  She glances around smiling.  No one performs her anymore do they?
Felicia: Not in a few years  Why, do you want to try that?  Tracy laughs.
Tracy: No dear.  Do you think that I sing?
Felicia: Well I  She looks again at Tracy.  Tracy Quartermaine?  Tracy looks shocked.  Youre Tracy Quartermaine right?
Tracy: Im supposed to stay out of town while family is in the hospital?
Felicia: I thought that they were staying at the PC Hotel, why arent you with them?
Tracy: Could you imagine staying with my family for long periods of time?
Felicia: I have, I wrote your Grandmothers memoirs.  Tracy puts down her brandy and stares at Felicia.
Tracy: Felicia Scorpio?
Felicia: Well its actually Jones now.  Tracy nods.
Tracy: I understand how that is.  Felicia raises her eyebrow.  So are you checking me out for your ex-husband?
Felicia: Now why would I do that?
Tracy: Because I know hes the police commissioner.  I know that you like to do detective work with Luke Spencer.
Felicia: Well youre just a plethora of information.  Tracy smirks.  Anything else I can get you?  Tracy pauses for a moment.
Tracy: No, thank you.  She gets up and leaves.  Felicia watches after her.

Outside the courtroom
Jake: So you think things are going to go well today?  Alexis smiles.
Alexis: Theyll go fine.  Dont worry.  He touches her shoulder.
Jake: I believe you.  Ive heard how great a lawyer you are.
Alexis: Hey I dont want any false hopes here.
Jake: Never.  Hey I think I see your ex over there.  Alexis turns around and notices Ned coming toward her.  She turns back to Jake.
Alexis: Why dont you go inside?  She hands him her briefcase to take inside.
Jake: Youre not going to come with me?  She pushes his shoulder and smiles.  Fine, meet me in there.  He touches her arm and walks away.  Alexis stands there, knowing that Ned watched the whole conversation.  She takes a deep breath.
Alexis: Did Nikolas and Jax get off okay?  She turns around.
Ned: Yeah the plane left about an hour ago.
Alexis: Thats good.  They stare at each other for a moment.  I wish you could understand why Im doing this.
Ned: Because you think my cousins a liar?  Or because youre falling for him?  Which one?  Alexiss eyes open wide.
Alexis: Neither actually.  Her eyes well up.  Im doing this because he has a right to an attorney.  Ned sighs.
Ned: I wish you could have told me about everything before last night.  I wish you could have trusted me.
Alexis: I did and I still do.  Otherwise I wouldnt have let you stay.  Its just a time that Id rather not go back to.  Cant you understand that?  Ned takes her hand and looks down at it.
Ned: A few years ago I came here to wish you good luck.
Alexis: Youre not going to this time, I understand that.  He looks into her eyes.
Ned: I hope that today goes well for you, not the trial but the whole day.  He takes a deep breath.  And Ill be here waiting when youre done if you need me.
Alexis: No matter what goes on in there?
Ned: Why, what are you planning?
Alexis: I have to defend my client; Ill do whatever it takes.  Alan walks over.
Alan: Its so good that you came to support your cousin, Ned.  This family needs to learn to back each other up.  This means a lot to me, Ned.  Ned nods.  Anyways
Ned: Alan wait, Ill go inside with you.  He looks back at Alexis.  Ill let you know if Jax gets a hold of me.  She nods.  He turns and walks inside the courtroom with Alan.  Alexis crosses her arms across her chest and glances around forcing back her tears.

Lukes Office
Felicia: Luke?  Luke are you there?  Luke enters the room behind her carrying a bottle of whiskey.   She turns around.  Luke, there you are!
Luke: So whats up little lady?  She smiles and rolls her eyes.
Felicia: I have a project for you.  Luke sits on the edge of his desk and pours himself a drink.
Luke: Tell me about it.
Felicia: You know about the Q mansion.  Luke nods sipping his drink.  Well I have a good idea of where all this is coming from, but no proof.
Luke: Your sixth sense is at work again?  Felicia shrugs.
Felicia: I guess.  I just have this feeling.  This suspicion
Luke: Well come on Honey, tell papa all about it.
Felicia: Tell me what you know about Tracy Quartermaine.  Luke stares at her a moment.  Then he puts down his drink and walks behind his desk.
Luke: Shes a very beautiful woman with all the qualities of a monster inside.  She waits and waits just watching her prey but when the time comes she destroys it and everything else with it.  Why do you want to know about Tracy?  He picks up his drink again.
Felicia: She came to the Outback yesterday and I have this sinking suspicion that shes not just here to see her darling family.
Luke: She called them her darling family?  Felicia thinks for a second and then shakes her head.  Yeah cause if I remember correctly her father has written her out of his will twice.  Felicia sits down in a chair.  He shakes his drink and then sets it down.  Now wait a second.  He goes to a file cabinet and sifts through things.  She didnt have a son with her?
Felicia: Isnt she Neds mother?
Luke: Yeah but she had another son  Yes, here it is.  Dillon, her sons name is Dillon Quartermaine.
Felicia: She gave him her last name.  Luke shrugs.  Well Ned doesnt have her last name.
Luke: Yes but she could get money out of Larry Ashton.  Dillon was fathered by Paul Hornsby, who later married Jenny Eckert a cousin of mine and Neds ex-wife.  Felicia raises her eyebrows.
Felicia: Why dont I remember this?  Luke shrugs.
Luke: You were still trying to figure things out with Frisco at the time I guess.
Felicia: I guess She thinks for a moment.  Well what if she did have something to do with this bombing?  Luke looks at her.
Luke: Maybe youre on to something.  He rubs his chin for a moment.  What does Mac think?
Felicia: I havent mentioned it to him yet.
Luke: Well Ill see if I can get a hold of Tracy.  Until then, see what you can dig up on Dillon.

Alexiss Apartment
Kristina: Youre just going to move out like that?  Courtney looks up as she yanks on the zipper of the duffel bag.
Courtney: I really dont want to stay here.  Look its nothing against you or your sister but I feel like a burden and I would rather stay with a friend.  Its that I dont like you, okay Kristina?
Kristina: Thats fine I just wish you would sit down and talk to Alexis and me about it.  Courtney sighs and yanks her hair out of her face.
Courtney: Alexis would just go tell Sonny and Id rather she didnt.  Kristina sighs.
Kristina: Well what can I do?  Theres a knock at the door.  Will hold on just a second?  Courtney nods.  She opens the door.
Jason: Hey.  Kristina smiles.
Kristina: Hey there.  Wow I didnt expect to find you here.  How did you know I was here?
Jason: You told me you lived here.
Kristina: And you came to see me?
Jason: Of course.  This town isnt really crawling with friendly people.  Did you have lunch?
Kristina: Uh She looks over at Courtney.
Courtney: You can go ahead.  I can get myself out of here.
Jason: Do you want me to give you a lift somewhere?
Courtney: No Jason thanks, but I think Ill be okay.
Kristina: You work for Sonny.  Jason furrows his eyebrows.
Jason: Actually I dont anymore.  I havent decided where Im going to work now or if Im going to go back to Sonny but for the moment I dont work for him.  So how bout it?
Courtney: But youre his best friend
Jason: Hey Im not here to tell Sonny on you.  You tell him what you want to tell him.  My motto is a person has a right to his own decisions no matter the consequences.  Ive made some very bad decisions.  He glances at Kristina.  And some very good ones.  Kristina smiles.  He looks back at Courtney.
Courtney: Oh fine.  Just take me to Kellys diner.
Jason: Youre living there? Courtney nods.  I used to live there.
Kristina: You used to live everywhere.  Jason shrugs.
Jason: I lived here for many years.  Kristina smiles. Yeah it is kinda strange though.
Kristina: Kinda sorta.  Jason smiles.  All right then, lets go cause Im about to get very hungry.
Jason: Well then wed better go!

Inside the courtroom
Judge: Defense you may call your first witness.  Alexis stands.
Alexis: Defense calls Edward Quartermaine.  The courtroom is shocked.  Alexis does not glance at Ned, already picturing his face.  Melissa pushes Edwards wheelchair up next to the witness stand.
Bailiff: Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth so help you g-d?
Edward: I do.  Alexis takes off her glasses.
Alexis: State your name for the record.
Edward: Edward Lewis Quartermaine.
Alexis: Edward, how is Ms. Skye Chandler-Quartermaine related to you?
Edward: Shes my granddaughter.  The daughter of my son, Alan.
Alexis: But she didnt always live with you did she?
Edward: No she didnt.
Alexis: What happened when she was born?
Edward: I sold her at birth.
Alexis: I see.  So when you came back you were upset?
Edward: Well I wanted to be, but I decided to welcome her with open arms.
Alexis: And how did she respond?
Edward: Well at first she was an angel of a granddaughter.
Scotty: Objection, you honor, where is this going?
Alexis: Goes to the plaintiffs character, your honor.
Judge: Ill allow it.
Alexis: And then?  Edward looks at Scotty who shrugs.
Edward: She changed.
Alexis: At the ELQ board meeting in December, tell me what happened.
Edward: The board members voted to make the company public.
Alexis: And what happened to Skye.
Edward: She was named CEO of the company.
Alexis: So she basically undermined a way for you to be kicked out of the decision-making involved in your own company?
Edward: Well not exactly.
Alexis: Was this her idea?  Did she propose this at the meeting?
Edward: Yes, but
Alexis: And, Mr. Quartermaine, at the police department soon after did you try to have your niece arrested?
Edward: Yes.
Alexis: Why?
Edward: Well I wanted my company back!  Ned rolls his eyes.
Alexis: After that did you then write Skye out of your will?
Edward: Yes but shes back in the will now!
Alexis: And why is that?  Edward does not answer.  I said why is she back in the will.
Edward: Because Melissa Bedford, being the wonderful woman she is, asked me nicely to take her out of the will and put my family back in.
Alexis: Did you also attempt to blackmail Skye when you were in the hospital?
Scotty: Objection, Mr. Quartermaine is no the person on trial.
Judge: Overrulled.  Mr. Quartermaine, answer the question.
Edward: (defeated) Yes I suppose I did.
Alexis: What made you blackmail her?
Edward: While I was pretending to be asleep I heard her talk about how she was fooling Jasper Jacks, tell him that Sonny was stalking her.  I knew she wasnt telling him so I thought it was a way to get my company back.
Alexis: Thats all, your honor.
Judge: Prosecution?  Scotty glances down at his notes.
Scotty: Nothing at this point you honor, but I reserve the right to recall this whitness.

The Barrett Apartment
Julia: (on the phone) Yes I know but if you could.  Yes I understand that you are busy.  No but you dont understand.  Yes I know that.  I just  Theres a knock on the door.  Argh!  Forget it!  She slams down the phone and walks over to the door.  Hi Lois, hey Brooke.
Lois: Hey.  Say hi Brooke.
Brooke: Hi Julia.  Wheres Olivia?
Julia: (mumbles) Good question.  Lois furrows her eyebrows.  Gee, I dont know Brooke, hopefully shell be back soon so that she can play with you.  Julia steps aside and Brooke and Lois walk in. Julia closes the door.
Lois: Olivias not staying here anymore?  Julia rubs her forehead.
Julia: I dont know.  Probably not.  Brenda only stayed with me for a little while before she moved out too.
Lois: Are they that much alike?  Julia shrugs.
Julia: Just cause I have a different mother makes me seem foreign to the two of them.  She sighs.  I dont even know what to do anymore.  You try everything until She stops.
Lois: Brooke, why dont you go read one of those books you brought with you.
Brooke: Okay Mommy.
Julia: You can sit on the couch, hun.  Brooke nods and walks away.  So whats up?
Lois: Im actually looking for somewhere to live.
Julia: Temporarily?
Lois: Possibly.
Julia: Until you can convince Jerry to come back?  Lois nods.  Well you could stay here, but this really isnt the place for a child.  Im sure you could stay at the gatehouse.  Ned would love to have his daughter with him.
Lois: But not his ex-wife.
Julia: Right.
Lois: I was actually wondering who was staying in Brendas cottage.  Julia thinks for a moment.  She goes over to a drawer and pulls out a file folder.
Julia: Last I knew Nikolas and Gia were living there but they moved into Wyndemere a little while ago.  Are you planning to live there, just you and Brooke?
Lois: Do you have any other ideas?
Julia: If I could get you a housemate, would you take it?
Lois: I guess so, why did you have another offer?
Julia: No, but I do know a couple people that are looking for a place to stay.
Lois: I dont want to hear the word Quartermaine out of you!
Julia: No no, of course not.  Theyre all staying at the PC Hotel.  I think theyve taken a whole floor for themselves.
Lois: Okay then.  When do I move in?
Julia: Im going to tell the other potential housemates about 5 hows that?  Lois nods.
Lois: Ill take it.

Outback
Kristina: Dont tell me you used to live here too.
Jason: No I dont think so.  He smiles.  Go get a table I get the drinks.  Kristina sits down and looks around.  Jason walks over with two glasses of wine.  Kristina takes a sip.
Kristina: So Ned used to play here?  Jason laughs.
Jason: Yeah in the Eddie Maine days.  Hmmm He takes a sip of wine.  Those days were so long ago.
Krsitina: So tell me about yourself.  How are you related to the Quartermaines?  Jason sighs.  Unless this is a question you dont want me to ask
Jason: No, Ill eventually have to tell you anyways.  Lets see.  Biologically Im Alans son and Monicas stepson.  I lived with them and at my boarding school for many years until about 7 or 8 years ago when my brother AJ got behind the wheel of a car drunk and smashed into a tree.
Kristina: Thats awful.  Jason shrugs.
Jason: In some ways.  When I woke up I didnt like the old Jason who was perfect and was going to grow up and go to medical school and be just like Dad.  I wasnt as smart anymore and I didnt really care for my family very much.  Some people understood, some didnt.  I mean, I feel bad for AJ and what he had to go through and Ned cause he had to lie for AJ but I dont mind that Ive changed.
Kristina: Well I guess Im not who I once was either.  Jason drinks more of the wine.
Jason: Food?  Kristina nods.  He waves Felicia over.  Well have two fettucini alfredos and garlic bread.  Is that fine?  Kristina nods.  Thanks Felicia.  Felicia nods and walks away.  So tell me your story.
Kristina: When I was born I was Alexiss baby sister.  She used to take care of me.  I dont remember most of it, its all what shes told me lately.  When my mother was murdered, Alexis left me in a barn.
Jason: She left you there?  Some sister.
Kristina: Well its not like she slammed me into a tree.  Jason shrugs.  Im sorry I didnt mean that.  Jason smiles.
Jason: No its fine Kristina.  I like it when someone understands and is still able to joke about it.  Im happy that I was slammed into a tree, so Id rather joke about it.  Kristina nods.  He takes her hand.  Kristina really its fine.  She holds on to his hand for a moment.  Jason interlocks his fingers and Kristina smiles as he caresses her hand.  So go on
Kristina: Well basically I dont remember much more.  I always knew I was adopted and when I turned eighteen my adoptive parents told me how they found me.  I learned only a year or so ago who my relatives were and went on a search for Alexis where I found Jax who lead me here.  So Im not who I used to be, Im not the Cassadine a Cassadine my age should be, but thats okay.  Jason scoots closer to her.
Jason: I like who you are.  Kristina blushes.
Kristina: Just like you Im happy that Im not who I was supposed to be.  I feel so sorry for my sister and brother and the lives they led.  Jason brushes her hair out of her face and touches her cheek.
Jason: No one should have to go through that kind of a life.  Im glad that Alexis saved you from that.  Kristina touches his cheek, closes her eyes as Jason leans in and kisses her.  She looks into his eyes.  Youre beautiful you know that.
Kristina: You can stop complimenting me now.
Jason: I dont want to.

Courtroom
Alexis: Defense calls Emily Quartermaine.  Emily walks up and sits in the witness chair.
Bailiff: Do you swear to tell the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth?
Emily: I do.
Alexis: State your full name for the record.
Emily: Emily Lynn Bowen Quartermaine.
Alexis: Emily, how are you related to the Quartermaines?
Emily: I am the adopted daughter of Monica and Alan Quartermaine.
Alexis: So Skye isnt really your sister?
Emily: Yeah she is!  The Quartermaines have been my family for so long that family is family.  She is my sister, blood related or not.  Alexis nods.
Alexis: Do you know who Zander Smith is?
Emily: Yes, I dated him a year ago.
Alexis: Did your family like that you were dating him?
Scotty: Objection, opinions.
Alexis: Goes to the witnesss relationship with Skye.
Judge: All right but get to the point Ms. Davis.  Alexis nods.
Emily: Well my Mom and Dad were really against it but AJ and Ned werent too awful about it.  But Skye, she was the best about it.  She acted like she understood why we wanted to be together.
Alexis: Emily, what happened that you had to leave Port Charles?
Emily: Zander and I decided that we were going to run away together.  Skye gave us money and promised to tell my parents what happened after I left.  However the train we were on crashed and I was paralyzed so I went away to a clinic so to learn to walk again.
Alexis: Did Skye ever give your parents the note?  Emily thinks for a moment.
Emily: No, I guess not.
Alexis: Did your cousin Ned tell you why Skye wanted you out of the house?
Scotty: Objection, hearsay.
Judge: Mr. Baldwin sit down!  Scotty scratches his head and sits down.
Emily: Yeah he said that she wanted the attention of my dad all to herself.
Alexis: Defense rests.  Scotty sighs holding his head in his hands.

PC Grille
Bobbie: Luke, what are you doing here?
Luke: Im having lunch Barbara Jean, cant you see that?
Bobbie: Luke  He looks up at her.
Luke: What?
Bobbie: Luke, you hate this place.
Luke: No I dont, especially when theyre serving up fishy Qs.  Bobbie sits down across from him and looks around.
Bobbie: Whom on earth are you spying on?
Luke: Do I ask you what you do everyday?  No I dont.  Now either stay and have lunch with me and drop the fifty questions routine or leave.  Im here on business.
Bobbie: Not for Sonny?  Luke sighs.
Luke: No.  Happy?  Bobbie shrugs.
Bobbie: Im just concerned.
Luke: I get that.  He glances around and lowers his voice.  Im glad youre here though, I gotta tell you something.  Bobbie looks at him curiously.  He takes her hand.  I have to tell you now cause soon youll be hearing it from someone else and I want to be the one to tell you.  But you gotta promise me youre not going to blame the messenger.
Bobbie: Luke, youre making me nervous.
Luke: Barbara, its about Jerry.
Bobbie: Jerry Jacks?  He nods. Youve heard from him?
Luke: Shhh!  The pig is in the pen.  Bobbie raises her eyebrows.  She slowly turns following his eyes and trying not to look conspicuous.  She notices Tracy.
Bobbie: What is it you heard from Jerry?  Luke sighs as he stares at Bobbie while watching Tracy.
Luke: Barbara, hes getting married.  Bobbies eyes open wide.  She takes a gulp of water.
Bobbie: To whom?
Luke: Lois Cerullo Ashton.  Bobbie draws her hand away slowly as she digests this.  Laura walks over.
Laura: Hey Bobbie, Luke. Do you mind if I join you?  Luke rubs his forehead hoping that Tracy has not noticed.
Luke: Why dont I meet you at the house later?  Laura nods.
Laura: Suit yourself.  Laura walks away.  Luke looks back at Bobbie.
Luke: What can I do?  She leans back still digesting the information.
Bobbie: Just give me a moment.

Courtroom
Jake: Dinner tonight at my place?  Ill cook.
Alexis: You cook?  Ive never met anyone who cooks.  Jake smiles.
Jake: Well then it will be my pleasure.  He walks away leaving behind an empty courtroom.  Ned walks in.
Ned: Well my family sure got a bashing from you today.  Alexis sighs setting down her papers.
Alexis: I told you, this isnt personal.  Im doing what I was hired to do.
Ned: No matter the reputation it gives the Quartermaines.
Alexis: Ned you must agree your family does it to themselves.  None of this would come out if your family didnt do these things.
Ned: What is the point of all of this anyways?  Youre making Skye out to be a liar.
Alexis: Then Ive done my job.  Look Ned, Im being nice.  Im not putting you on the stand.  Im letting your other relatives do it to her.
Ned: Remind me of that later and Ill thank you.
Alexis: Ned  She walks around the desk and sits on it.  She touches his arm but he pulls it back.
Ned: I wish you were as good with your personal life as you are with your professional one.
Alexis: But I really dont have a personal life do I?  For years all my personal life has consisted of, all Ive wanted it to, is you.  Ned looks at her for a moment.
Ned: The same goes here too, huh?  She stares at him waiting for him to say more.  You have a dinner to get to.  After a moment she stands and picks up her briefcase.
Alexis: Someday, somehow, well get past the point when we want to keep trying.  Maybe its time I looked elsewhere.  She shakes her head as she walks away.  As she reaches the door she stops.  If you werent going to say good luck, you should have said nothing at all
