Julia�s Suite

Julia: Brenda go ahead and sit down, I�m just going to check through the mail. Brenda sits down on the couch putting her hands in her lap. She looks back over at Brenda, as she is about to pick up the mail. She walks over and sits in a chair next to Brenda. Brenda, tell me what you know.
Brenda: It�s crazy. Everything is so clear to me, I remember everything. Well almost. I remember everything up to getting in the car with my mother. I just don�t remember anything after that. But I remember that you�re my sister and Lois and Robin and Emily. She smiles. I know I�m a model and I live in a white cottage in the woods.
Julia: Well not anymore�
Brenda: Is my cottage still there? I remember the day I bought it. Jax and I sat on the steps and made s�mores. She smiles. Jax� Was I in love with Jax? Julia smiles.
Julia: I think so.
Brenda: That�s something else that didn�t come back. I remember everything but my love didn�t come back. I can remember when I couldn�t decide between Sonny and Jax and how upset I was when Sonny left me at the alter. I just, I don�t feel any love for either one. She sighs. Is it still enough?
Julia: Brenda you have yourself back. You remember how much fun we used to have.
Brenda: I remember the Nurses Ball and playing on the beach with Jax and oh I remember everything. She smiles. This is so exciting! She walks over to the window and looks out. Who lives in my cottage now?
Julia: Well Nikolas and Gia did. Now Lois, Kristina and Carly live there. Brenda nods.
Brenda: Julia, do you think I can go back to my old job?
Julia: I think Gia�s the Face of Deception but I think Laura would go for a switch, you would have to ask.
Brenda: Laura?
Julia: Laura brought Deception from Lucy.
Brenda: Oh. She glances back out the window. I loved being away with Jax, I felt so carefree. But I didn�t feel anything for him. He�s fun to be with� Maybe I just should give it some time.
Julia: I think that�s best. Brenda nods.
Brenda: Well I�m going to bed. Julia nods. Brenda walks over and kisses Julia�s cheek. I love you Jul.
Julia: Same here Brenda, you have no idea how much I missed you. Brenda grins.
Brenda: I�ll bet.

Zander�s Apartment

Olivia: All things seem to be going well with my sister and I think that I may get promoted to waitress at Club 101.
Zander: Sick of cleaning up after everyone goes home? Olivia nods.
Olivia: It gets really nasty in there! Zander laughs. Anyways so I was talking to Sonny yesterday�
Zander: Wait, you were talking to Sonny? Olivia raises an eyebrow.
Olivia: Yeah, he�s a friend of mine too. Do you think that you�re the only one who can talk to him? Jeez, you�re a little protective. Can I call you Carly?
Zander: Don�t joke about her like that! She�s his ex-wife, she loves him.
Olivia: By doing what, turning him into the police? She�s intent on driving him crazy.
Zander: Livy, Carly is my friend and I expect that even if you don�t like her, you�ll leave her alone. Olivia rolls her eyes.
Olivia: Fine, but only because you asked soooo nicely. She walks over to him and kisses him. Zander smiles.
Zander: Just like that we�re done?
Olivia: What do you think? She kisses him again.
Zander: Wait wait. First, what were you talking to Sonny about? Olivia sighs and flops into a chair.
Olivia: Fine, forget I said that.
Zander: No Livy. You know I�m only asking because I care. I just don�t want Sonny getting you in trouble.
Olivia: Because I�m younger than you or because I�m female? Neither answer is really that good. Zander opens his mouth to speak. Zander you can�t think that you�re this big macho guy and you�re the only one who can help Sonny out. I may be younger, less male and definitely shorter, but that doesn�t mean anything. I would do anything for Sonny just as you would. Zander sighs.
Zander: And I really wanted to hear that from you. Look I know how Sonny works and I don�t want you to get hurt. For one, your sisters would kill me.
Olivia: Correction, Julia would want to kill Sonny. You have nothing to do with it, you don�t own me. Brenda wouldn�t care, she will want to protect me but she did the same thing.
Zander: And when you were stealing the money from the store, did Sonny get you to do that too?
Olivia: No! I did that so Courtney and I would have somewhere to live. Jeez Zander you�re starting to sound like my sister.
Zander: Well maybe she�s right.
Olivia: Well we would like to think that wouldn�t we? Courtney walks in.
Courtney: Hey guys, what�s going on?
Olivia: We�re leaving, come on Court! She walks over, grabs Courtney�s arm and they leaves. Courtney glances back at Zander as they leave. He has tears in his eyes.

The Gatehouse.

Chloe: Hello everybody! Alexis glances over, she is working at the desk.
Alexis: Well it�s just me but hey there Chloe. She stands and smiles.
Chloe: You and Ned have been pushing me so much to get out, and the day I do and come to tell you about it, your guy�s not even here!
Alexis: Sorry about that, he said he needed to meet with his mother. But you look great. Chloe is back in her usual skimpy pastels with sunglasses on her forehead. I didn�t realize it was sunny out.
Chloe: Yeah, unlike yesterday. It�s sunny but there�s snow, how crazy is that? Anyways Lila asked me to come to Thanksgiving and I wanted to know if you guys are planning on going.
Alexis: I�m sure that Ned�s going to force me. She rolls her eyes. Chloe laughs, walking over to the couch. Yeah we�ll probably be there although my sister mentioned that we should go to her place.
Chloe: Just let me know then. She puts her purse down on the couch and glances at Alexis. Are you okay hun? You look a little tired.
Alexis: There�s been so much going on lately. She walks over to the couches and sits down. Then she looks up at Chloe. No, I should tell you it�s something else. Chloe looks concerned. She walks over and sits next to Alexis.
Chloe: What�s going on? Alexis smiles faintly.
Alexis: It�s nothing bad. I had a meeting with Monica the other day and she told me I�m pregnant. Chloe looks shocked but smiles. She hugs Alexis.
Chloe: Oh Alexis that�s wonderful news! Alexis nods, working on her breathing.
Alexis: It is. Chloe rubs Alexis�s arm.
Chloe: I know it�s hard to digest right now, but you�ll be a great mother. How did Ned take it?
Alexis: Surprisingly well. She smiles. I can�t believe I was afraid to tell him.
Chloe: You see, everything�s going to be fine.
Alexis: We had dinner last night with my family and I just couldn�t bring myself to tell them. Chloe sighs.
Chloe: You�ll get it out.
Alexis: It�s just. You know how afraid I am of marriage but I really don�t want our child to be a bastard. She sighs.
Chloe: Did Ned say you should get married?
Alexis: No. Do you think he doesn�t want to?
Chloe: I think he�s a little afraid of you fleeing again. He just wants to take care of you, especially now that you�re carrying his child. Alexis puts her hand over her abdomen. Do you want me to talk to him? Alexis shakes her head.
Alexis: No. I can talk to Ned. That�s one thing I can do. She sighs. I wish I could get past that whole flight risk thing. He�s a wonderful man and he�s so wonderful to me. She looks at Chloe. I do love him.
Chloe: Oh Alexis, I know you do. Alexis nods. Chloe stands.
Alexis: Well at least you look like you�re doing well. Chloe smiles.
Chloe: Well if you would be happy about this you would look fantastic. Really Alexis, you�ve got everything going for you now.
Alexis: Mac arrested Jake the other day. Chloe raises her eyebrows. Alexis stands up and walks over to the desk. Mac says he needs me to testify if the case goes to court.
Chloe: You don�t think it�s going to? Alexis shakes her head as she puts papers in a pile.
Alexis: No probably not. He�ll do a plea bargain. She looks over at Chloe. Really, that�s fine by me. I almost feel bad for him. Chloe looks at Alexis like she�s crazy. Alexis laughs. Almost. Chloe smiles. I�m glad you dropped by, I�ve been needing time with my best friend.
Chloe: Good. She walks over and puts her arm around Alexis. Marie walks down the stairs. Hey Marie! Marie smiles. Chloe walks over and gives Marie a big hug. Alexis laughs.
Alexis: Well look who�s getting all the attention here! Marie smiles. Chloe digs in a bag that she brought with her and produces a dress for Marie. Marie squeals in delight. Alexis bites her lip looking at the girl. Chloe smiles as Marie takes it and runs upstairs to try it on. Chloe looks over at Alexis.
Chloe: You should be happy that she doesn�t have to live through the same. Alexis nods. But know I�m going to shower the little one you�re carrying with just as many gifts! Alexis smiles.
Alexis: It�s going to love its Aunt Chloe more than its mother! Chloe laughs. They smile staring at each other.
Chloe: I�m so happy for you Alexis. Alexis looks down but smiles. Chloe smiles and looks back up the stairs waiting for Marie. Alexis glances back at her best friend and smiles.

Tracy�s House

Tracy: Ned, what a surprise! Come on in! Ned walks in, stomping the snow off his shoes. Oh I hope that it�s not too cold out there for you. Ned raises an eyebrow.
Ned: I didn�t expect you�d care. Tracy looks saddened by the remark. It�s just� Tracy you harassed every one of my wives, you hide my brothers away in small rooms and you try to get my friends killed.
Tracy: Ned, I would never do anything to hurt you. You are my son, my eldest child. No matter what I do to anyone else, I always think of us as a team.
Ned: You didn�t do anything to save Alexis when Alex and Tony were trying to kill her. You lead me right up to the cavern where you knew she was, didn�t tell me about it and let me convince her that I didn�t love her anymore! He walks past her, frustrated.
Tracy: I am sorry about that. You know I am. That�s why I gave Luke the medicine, that�s why I helped the poor people, to make you understand that I am not that cold. Ned sits down, burying his face in his hands. Tracy presses her lips together and walks over to him.
Ned: Mother, I don�t know what to think. Yes, I remember when we were partners with Jenny and Paul. I remember you trying to help me get control of ELQ. However, I also remember you sending my wife into premature labor. Tracy looks at him confused. My ex-wife, Lois, as well as Jenny when she was pregnant with Matthew.
Tracy: I realize I have done some despicable things in the past, but so have you, remember? Ned thinks for a moment and then nods. Has Edward or Monica ever tried to bail you out>
Ned: No, mostly Grandfather yells at me and tells me I�m good for nothing. Tracy sits down next to him.
Tracy: You see Ned, I don�t agree. You�re my son and I always believed you were the best one to run ELQ, the smartest in whole family. It doesn�t matter to me if I�m the only one who realizes it. Ned glances over at her.
Ned: You aren�t the only one to realize it.
Tracy: Who else? Lois never realized it, she didn�t like you as a part of this family. Ned smiles.
Ned: That�s true. Alexis though, she thinks that I can do anything.
Tracy: She�s a very special lady. Ned chuckles to himself.
Ned: Yeah she is, Ma, she is. He takes her hand.
Tracy: Ned, I want us to be a team again, as we used to be. Ned looks at her. I�m serious.
Ned: I know you are, but what do you want to use me for?
Tracy: I don�t want to use you. It is well known that two people are better for any project than one. I want to prove to the family that they were wrong about both of us.
Ned: They were wrong. Although, I was the one who got you kicked out of the family the last time.
Tracy: I understand why. Ned nods. Does that cement the deal? Ned looks up at her. What�s the problem?
Ned: I want to say yes, I�m just worried that I can�t trust you. Tracy smiles.
Tracy: Believe me when I say, I want you to see me in a new light.
Ned: Okay then. I can�t believe I�m saying this, but I had always hoped that we could have a better relationship Mother. Hopefully this is our chance. Tracy nods. Ned smiles and stands. Now where is my godson? I would love to say hi to Dillon. Tracy waves her arm.
Tracy: Upstairs, I think. Ned, I�m going to send him to a boarding school. I�m too old to be a mother and he needs proper schooling. Ned nods.
Ned: It�s better than no schooling at all. I do hope you�ll let him stay home through the holidays. Tracy glances up and sighs, knowing that she must say yes now.
Tracy: Of course. Ned nods.
Ned: Well I�m going to go up and say hi. Tracy nods. Ned smiles at her and then walks away. Tracy watches him go.
Tracy: Oh my dear. How wonderful these next few years will be.

Felicia�s Home

Frisco: I can�t believe everything is so clear to me. Felicia smiles. I just can�t believe it.
Georgie: Then you remember me? Frisco nods.
Frisco: I remember when I left last time I had just seen you for the first time. Felicia or Mac took a picture that I held close to my heart whenever I missed you guys too much. I also had a picture of you Maxie. Maxie stares at him. You were just an angel of a child.
Felicia: She was. Maxie rolls her eyes. There�s a knock at the door. Frisco sits down on the couch and pulls Georgie into his lap.
Frisco: I thought you were going to give me a chance.
Maxie: Maybe I don�t believe you�re going to stay this time. Now that your memory is back you have no reason to stay. You remember your duties to the world. Mac walks in followed by Felicia.
Felicia: You remember Mac? Frisco sets Georgie down and stands. He smiles walking over to Mac.
Frisco: Mac, of course I remember Robert�s brother! Mac smiles.
Mac: I haven�t been called that in years. They laugh.
Frisco: I understand you�ve become a father figure to my children, that�s good. I did want to come back� He glances over at Maxie, who looks down. I remember how much I missed you, Felicia and my girls. I wanted to see you grow up. He sighs.
Mac: It�s not your fault you were away for so long. Frisco smiles, glancing at Mac. So are you and Felicia getting back together?
Felicia: No. She stares at Frisco. At least not at this point.
Frisco: Felicia�s right, they warned me that I would remember that I once felt that way, but the feelings wouldn�t come back. Mac nods. So you two were married while I was gone. Mac smiles.
Mac: Yes, but it didn�t take. You know as well as I that marriage is tough. Frisco nods.
Frisco: I guess I�m a little more of an adventurous person. He glances around. I can�t promise you that if I get called away on assignment, I�m not going to leave, but I�d like to make it up at this point for all the time lost.
Felicia: Are you going to continue seeing Kristina? Frisco stares at her. He sighs.
Frisco: We decided it was better at this point if we let it be. Felicia nods.
Mac: That�s probably best. When you�re trying to figure out your life, why mix it up with a relationship right away? Frisco nods.
Maxie: I�m supposed to meet Lucky and Elizabeth for lunch. She stares up at Frisco. Excuse me. She leaves. Felicia sighs.
Felicia: I don�t know what�s gotten into her.
Mac: Do you want me to talk to her? He looks at Frisco.
Frisco: Yeah it�s probably less of a biological thing.

The Gatehouse

Alexis is lying on the couch asleep. Piles of legal briefs lie on the floor next to her, glasses thrown on top. Ned walks in. He glances at her as he takes off his coat. After hanging it up, he walks over to the desk and flips through the mail. He looks at Alexis again, running a hand through his hair. Ned walks over to the closet and gets out his guitar. He takes it over to a chair next to the couch and sits down. He strums a few chords and begins singing.
Ned: There was a time, I was walking in the dark (Alexis open her eyes and glances over at him)
Blind to everything, but the aching in my heart (Alexis smiles and sits up.)
I don�t know how, I ever made it through the night (Alexis walks over and sits on the edge of the chair)
But I would do it all again just to stand here in the light. Ned strums a few more chords. He looks up at Alexis and smiles. She cups his face in her hands and kisses him.
Alexis: I love you. Ned smiles.
Ned: I�m going to have to work on some new material for you.
Alexis: You don�t have to do anything for me, just promise you�ll always be here. Ned puts down his guitar and pulls her into his lap. She stares up at him and he pulls on her sleeve.
Ned: I will. I�m never leaving again Alexis. Alexis smiles.
Alexis: I know, I just wanted to hear it again. Ned smiles. Chloe came over. Ned raises his eyebrows. I guess we�ve both been pushing her to get out and do things.
Ned: When I stopped by the other day she was designing some dresses.
Alexis: That�s good for her. So I told her about the baby and I think I�m really excited. Ned smiles. Really! I think it�s going to be a good thing.
Ned: It�s going to be a wonderful thing. She leans in and kisses him. Then she lays her head against his chest as he wraps his arms around her. You�re all I�ve ever wanted Alexis and this baby is more than I could have hoped for.
Alexis: The same goes for me. How did your meeting with Tracy go? Ned sighs.
Ned: She wants us to join up again, you know, as it was when she first came back. Alexis snuggles up to him and nods.
Alexis: And you said?
Ned: Well she talked a lot of sense and apologized for all the things she had done. I don�t know she�s my mother I really want this to work. Alexis sits up.
Alexis: You said yes? She is shocked. He reaches up and rubs her arm.
Ned: I did, very reluctantly, but I made her promise that we weren�t going to hurt anyone and especially you.
Alexis: I�m not worried about that, I can handle anyone, I�m a Cassadine. Ned chuckles.
Ned: Yes I know that but she has gone after both Lois and Jenny. Alexis raises her eyebrows. But somehow I think she understands more how special you are. She even said that to me.
Alexis: Oh dear she is planning on using you for something. Ned looks at her, confused. Alexis stands, walking across the room. Ned, that woman doesn�t like anyone. I know better than almost anyone else how well emotional blackmail works. She knows you�ll be sympathetic, especially when she says she likes me, so she played on it. Ned stands up.
Ned: Whoa, Alexis! Let�s not argue about my mother. Alexis sighs. She walks over and picks up her stuff off the floor.
Alexis: You�re right. She walks over to the desk. There is a knock at the door. Alexis glances up at Ned.
Ned: You�re not angry with me. Alexis shakes her head.
Alexis: No, I love you, you can do what you want with your mother. Ned nods and walks over to the door. Jax and Brenda are there.
Ned: Hey! Come on in. Alexis looks up.
Alexis: Hello Jax, Brenda. You�re looking well.
Brenda: I feel great. I love knowing everything I�ve ever done in my life. Ned, you are wonderful. She gives him a hug.
Ned: It�s so great having you back to yourself Brenda. So are you two back together? Jax and Brenda glance at each other.
Jax: We haven�t decided that, but Brenda called me and asked if I wanted to come see you guys and I do.
Ned: Good because we have news. Marie walks down the stairs. Jax looks up and smiles.
Jax: Hey Marie. Marie walks down the stairs slowly.
Alexis: Marie, that dress that Chloe bought you is beautiful. Marie smiles. Alexis glances at Jax. Say hi to Jax. She looks back down at her papers.
Marie: Hi Jax. Jax holds out his arms to her. Marie glances at Alexis, who is turned around and walks over to Jax. They hug. Do you like my dress?
Jax: Yes I do, Chloe has very good taste in clothes. Marie, this is my friend Brenda.
Brenda: Hi Marie. Marie smiles.
Marie: Hi Brenda. She takes Brenda�s hand and they walk over to the couch and sit. Alexis looks up at them and smiles. Ned walks over and picks up his guitar.
Brenda: You�re still writing songs? Ned glances over at Alexis and smiles.
Ned: I like writing songs, it helps me get out what I�m feeling. For the past few years I�ve had a new reason for writing. Alexis blushes.
Alexis: Aw. She walks over to him. Ned puts an arm around her waist, leans down and kisses her.
Jax: So what�s this news? He walks over and sits on the arm of the chair next to Brenda. Ned and Alexis glance at each other.
Ned: Alexis is pregnant. Jax smiles and walks over and hugs Alexis and then Ned.
Jax: That�s great! Brenda smiles.
Brenda: Isn�t that great Marie?
Marie: Yes, I�m excited. Ned puts his arm around Alexis again.
Jax: You going to name it after me? Alexis laughs.
Alexis: Yes of course, Jasper Ashton. Everyone laughs.
Brenda: Remember when we thought we were going to have our own little one? Jax looks back at her and nods, sadly. Brenda sighs, her arms around Marie.
Jax: Does Brooke know yet? Alexis looks up at Ned who shakes his head.
Ned: I�m supposed to meet Brooke and Lois at the cottage tomorrow, I�ll tell them then. Jax nods.
Brenda: Ooooh can I come? Ned looks at her and laughs. I remember hanging out with Lois and when Brooke was born.
Ned: Well then I�ll pick you up at Julia�s before I go. That�s where you�re living right? Brenda nods.
Brenda: Just until we kill each other. Ned laughs. You remember how quickly I moved out of there last time.
Ned: Well if you want to make a run for it� He stops himself and tries again. If you need to get out of there, you can stay here. He glances at Alexis. Right?
Alexis: Of course, we�d love to have you. Ned can get annoying too after a while. Jax laughs. Ned pouts. Alexis turns up her face and kisses his cheek.
Jax: So that�s why you agreed to marry me? Alexis laughs and rolls her eyes.
Marie: You are marrying Jax? Alexis laughs.
Alexis: No dear, I�m not getting married. Jax and I were married a while ago. She glances at Ned. It will never happen again. He touches her cheek and kisses her.

Luke walks out from one of the tunnels. Stefan looks up and takes off his glasses, upset.
Stefan: First of all I would ask that you try using the door. We only allow people to enter who are welcome here.
Luke: Oh Stiff, stop all the bat crap. You know I never change my ways. I can�t help that I really love wandering my way through all those tunnels. Stefan rolls his eyes, standing up. You should be pleased though, I came here to see you. Stefan raises an eyebrow.
Stefan: You came here, to see me. He shakes his head walking away over to the table. If you are bored or looking for some amusement I suggest that you find another opportunity. I do not wish to engage in this heated confrontation again. Luke laughs. Stefan turns and stares at him.
Luke: I�m not here to argue with you, I�m here to see if you can help me. Stefan stares at him.
Stefan: How would I be able to do that?
Luke: Oh Bat King you do remember that we are the only ones who know what truly happened in that Russian castle. Somehow we were able to work together to bring down the lovebirds.
Stefan: Suffice it to say, I am not playing on taking up a weapon for a long time to come. Spencer, we did not work together.
Luke: You have a different view of what happened?
Stefan: Surprisingly we both wanted the same thing, we wanted Alexandria and Anthony dead. I needed to do whatever possible to save my nephew. I have no clue as to why you showed. In the end everything worked out for the best.
Luke: Oh come off it Stiff! You don�t want to be seen as my partner I get it. Just because we rid the world of Alex and Tony doesn�t mean that all is well! There are other villains in our mist.
Stefan: You, Luke, are on an endless quest to find people who may be harming others and kill them so that you can be a hero. I do not want to be a participant in your quest. He turns back to his papers.
Luke: Even if it affects your family? Stefan sighs setting down his papers.
Stefan: All right, out with it all ready. What are you getting at?
Luke: I was able to get the cure for the prisoners and cure their amnesia.
Stefan: Congratulations. You may go now.
Luke: I�m not finished! Sit down, take a chill pill and let me explain. Stefan turns around, raising an eyebrow. He walks over to the bar, pouring himself a drink.
Stefan: I suppose all this should amuse me. He turns to face look, downing his vodka. Proceed then, fool.
Luke: Tracy Quartermaine gave me the medicine in exchange for getting Ashton under her wing. I don�t know what she has in mind, but I have a feeling that Nedly�s going to fall for her shenanigans.
Stefan: And you think my sister will allow that?
Luke: She�s a smart one, your Natasha. She�s not going to be able to convince him. Family is very important to him and she�s going to let him do what he wants as long as it doesn�t affect her.
Stefan: But you think it will.
Luke: Don�t you? The evil daughter would never hurt her eldest son, he�s her way into the family fortune. In fact I think she might even let Alexis go for a while, to get her hands on your money as well, but when the timing�s right� He draws his hand across his throat, making a noise. Stefan smirks and begins to clap.
Stefan: I supposed that is supposed to cause me to run to my sister�s defense in the fear of a woman who has no real power. Luke rolls his eyes.
Luke: Do you think I would put myself through this just to get you to help me further my cause, no I can do that on my own thank you! Stefan stares at him for a moment.
Stefan: Do you really think that my sister could be in danger? Luke nods.
Luke: I would have gone to her myself but you know how independent she is. Stefan nods putting down his drink.
Stefan: You think I should be thinking of my family�s fortune?
Luke: It�s one thing I can see ole Tracy going after.
Stefan: I�ll give it some thought Spencer. He sighs walking back over to the table and begins to flip through papers. He glances back at Luke. I suppose you can see yourself out. Luke sighs, frustrated and walks out. Stefan shakes his head looking back down at the papers.

Kelly�s

Zander: Hey Courtney. Courtney looks up from her mop and smiles slightly. Well that�s good at least you�re acknowledging me.
Courtney: Zander, I totally understand where you are coming from. She sighs, glancing over at Liz. Liz notices Zander and motions that Courtney can take a break. Do you want to sit down? Zander walks over to a table and flops down in a chair.
Zander: Is she here? Courtney nods.
Courtney: Upstairs. Last I knew she was on the phone with her sisters. Zander nods.
Zander: I don�t feel bad for asking her about Sonny, I don�t want her to get hurt. Courtney raises her eyebrows.
Courtney: I may not be close to Sonny, but he is my brother.
Zander: And my friend. Look, Courtney, it�s okay for her to be buddies with Sonny, but not help him out. He�s in a dangerous business.
Courtney: She knows that and I think that�s partly why she�s doing it. Maybe she wants to work with you. Zander thinks for a moment. You guys are great together, you really are. Zander smiles.
Zander: I love being with her. She�s just a lot of fun and I don�t get that very often. I can forgive what she says about Carly, but I don�t know about letting her do what she wants for Sonny.
Courtney: I don�t want her to get hurt either, but I also know what it�s like to have everyone trying to protect you. Maybe you should give her a chance, prove it to her that you trust her.
Zander: I trust her. I do. I�ve never felt this way about anyone. Courtney smiles.
Courtney: That�s nice. You both are my good friends so I love seeing you two so happy.
Zander: She really likes working at Carly�s joint.
Courtney: Yeah I went to visit her there once.
Zander: So Sonny says you asked him for money to go to college. Courtney nods.
Courtney: Susan Hornsby said that I might be able to make the PCU basketball team and they�re really good so I�m going to try out. Maybe I�ll actually graduate. Zander smiles and pats her arm.
Zander: You�ll do great. She smiles. Olivia walks down the stairs but stops when she sees Courtney and Zander. Courtney takes a breath and walks away from Zander. She continues to mop. Zander smiles up at Olivia. Olivia raises her eyebrows and walks back upstairs. Zander sighs and glances at Courtney.

Cottage

Kristina and Jason are sitting on the floor looking through wallpaper samples. There is a knock at the door. Brooke goes running to get it as Jason and Kristina laugh. She opens it and runs into Ned�s arms.
Brooke: Daddy! Ned picks her up and kisses the top of her head.
Ned: Hello there, Princess. She throws her arms around his neck. Lois stands at the top of the stairs as Ned, Marie, Brooke and Brenda walk in. Brenda looks up at Lois.
Brenda: Hey there girl! Lois smiles and runs down the stairs to Brenda. They hug.
Lois: It worked! It really worked! Jason and Kristina look at each other and smile.
Jason: (mumbles) Oh to return to your old life. Kristina laughs. Ned looks up at Kristina and Jason.
Ned: Hello Kristina, Jason.
Jason: Ned.
Kristina: Where�s my sister? Why didn�t you bring her with you?
Ned: I think she went running with Chloe. Kristina raises her eyebrows. But I brought the next best thing. Marie! Kristina smiles.
Kristina: Hey Marie, do you want to help Jason and I pick out wallpaper? Marie looks up at Ned.
Ned: Go on. He pushes Marie forward. Marie walks over to Jason and Kristina and sits down. Ned walks over to the couch and sits, putting Brooke next to him. She smiles contented. Lois and Brenda follow closely and sit down in the other couch.
Lois: Nedly, darling, I have a favor to ask of you.
Ned: Only if you don�t use that nickname any more! Lois pretends to pout, but then smiles.
Lois: Only because you pulled my finger! Plus I don�t know if you�re going to want to this. I want you to give me away. Ned holds his breath for a moment, thinking. I mean it�s not like you and I are going to get married again.
Ned: True. He looks at Brooke. Okay if that�s what you want.
Lois: Oh Ned- She stops and smiles. If only everyone was just like you. Ned smiles.
Ned: Actually I have some news for you.
Lois: Do tell. She glances at Brenda who smiles.
Ned: This is for Brooke to hear to. Alexis is pregnant, we�re going to have a baby. Lois looks shocked for a moment but then smiles.
Lois: Ned, I�m so happy for you. I know you�ve always wanted a real family. Are you guys going to be getting married soon? Ned shrugs. Brookie, are you all right with what Daddy said?
Brooke: I�m going to have a little sister or brother? Ned nods.
Ned: But you�ll always be my princess. Brooke smiles. Good that�s settled then. Ned holds out his hand and Brooke slaps it. Lois and Ned laugh. Brooke smiles, loving the attention.
Brenda: Brooke I remember visiting you when you were just born. Do you remember me? Brooke shakes her head.
Lois: Brooke, Brenda is your godmother. She and Jax are your godparents. You know who Jax is don�t you?
Brooke: Yeah he�s really tall.
Lois: Well that was extremely descriptive. Ned glances over at Marie and Lois follows his gaze. She walks over and sits by him. Ned, is she going to stay with you? Ned shrugs.
Ned: Alexis just wants her to be taken care of. I think she likes living with us but she�ll never feel extremely comfortable.
Brenda: I think it�s a good thing what you�re doing. Ned smiles over at her. I hope I can do many things for others.
