Nikolas: Emily, stop worrying and just tell me, is this the way to the basement? Emily: Yeah I think so. She sighs. You know I believe you, I know Luke would never hurt Peter. I just� You never expect to look up and see your boyfriend with a knife to his neck. Nikolas: I never expect to have a boyfriend. Emily rolls her eyes. He puts his arm around. Emily, I never got to tell you this again but it�s great to see you again. I missed you a lot. Emily: Yeah, you know when I first go there I would wait for your letters everyday at the mailbox. She smiles. I missed you too. She puts her arm around him and hugs him. Here, I think this is the door to the basement. Nikolas opens it, allowing Emily to walk through first. So I have a question, why did you come back when Peter and I let you go? Nikolas: I ran into Luke and Felicia, as usual they had other plans. Emily smiles. Hey! Are you Catherine? Catherine: How do you know me? Where did you come from? Nikolas walks closer. No! Stay back! Nikolas glances at Emily. Emily: We�re here to help. I�m Emily and this is Nikolas. Nikolas: I�m your cousin. Catherine stares at them as if trying to decide whether to believe them. Catherine, Marie is out, we�re here to get you. Come with us, please. Catherine: Where are my parents? Emily: They are gone, they won�t hurt you. Catherine: You killed them? Nikolas: We didn�t. I can�t tell you if they�re alive or dead but you have to realize what they were doing is wrong. Catherine: Yeah Marie would tell you that. How am I related to you? Nikolas: Your father is the brother of my grandfather. I�m Stavros�s son. Catherine: Yes I�ve heard of you. Emily: Catherine if you come with us now� Catherine: I�ll go. Chloe: Marie, how do we get out of here? Marie: That door. Chloe and Marie walk through the door to the outside. Chloe: Wow that was easy. She glances around. Marie, if your parents wanted to hide someone, where would they hide him or her other than the basement. Marie thinks for a moment. Marie: I�m not sure. Chloe: You need to think, this could be a matter of life or death. Marie thinks again and then grabs Chloe�s hand and begins to run. They end up in front of a pile of rocks. What is this? Marie: It�s a cavern. I remember Mommy putting Katya here once when she was bad. Chloe begins to pull rocks off. Chloe: This is crazy. Alexis? She pulls more and more rocks off until she is able to peek inside. Alexis? She pulls more rocks off. Marie, see if you can climb through this hole. Marie climbs up and into the cavern. Okay now help move these rocks. They move some more rocks. Chloe climbs up and into the cave. Alexis! She runs over to where Alexis lays against the other side of the cave. She touches Alexis�s face. Alexis? Alexis opens her eyes slightly. Alexis: Chloe. Chloe: Hey Alexis, don�t worry everything�s going to be all right. Marie sits next to Alexis and takes her hand. Alexis: Hey Marie. Chloe: You don�t need to talk hun. Alexis: Ned, where�s Ned? Chloe: He�s really worried about you. Alexis bites her lip as tears begin to well up in her eyes. Alexis, don�t worry. We need to get you out of this place, do you think you can walk? Alexis takes a deep breath and shudders as she slowly lets it out. She nods. Okay. She helps Alexis up to a standing position. Your cheek is really purple, Alexis what happened. Alexis just shakes her head. Okay Marie, let�s just work on getting her out of here. Marie stares at Alexis for a moment but nods. Port Charles (yes it does exist) General Hospital Nurses Station Bobbie: Luke just called. They got everyone out alive and they�re going to fly them here. Tony: So we should be ready for a lot of patients? Bobbie: He says a lot of psych patients. Monica: Psych? Why psych? She glances at Alan. Alan: What about Alex and Tony, how are they. Bobbie: Luke didn�t tell me that. Tony: At least they�ve let us know what is going on. Monica: Not really. My daughter is over there, Luke didn�t mention how she was. Bobbie: Luke didn�t mention specific people except that they�re coming back with more than they started with. Alan: Hopefully that means they found Chloe. Monica: I�m so glad that she�s okay. She was such a wonderful girl and to think we thought Stavros had killed her. Lesley and Lulu walk over to the desk. Bobbie: Hey little one. She walks over to Lulu and picks her up. Lulu: I�m not little, I�m seven! Bobbie laughs. Monica: Of course you are dear. Bobbie: Did Luke call you too? Lesley: Yes he did. He said that he and Laura are just fine but we should meet him here because he has a surprise for me. Monica: What kind of surprise could he possibly have after a war with the Cassadines in Russia? Lesley shrugs. Bobbie: He didn�t tell me that. Now I�m really interested. Scott: In what? He and Serena step off the elevator. Bobbie puts Lulu down. Bobbie: Luke called, they�re all coming home. Scott: Wonderful, the prodigal hero returns. Bobbie rolls her eyes. Monica: Oh Scott, give it up. Serena: Hey Lulu. Lulu smiles. Lulu: Grandma, when are Mommy and Daddy going to be home. Lesley: Soon dear, very soon. Emergency Room Karen: The helicopter�s landing now. Eve: I�ll go get them, come on Chris. He nods and leaves with her. A man walks up to the desk. Man: Hi I�m here to help out. Dr. Kevin Collins called me, he said he�d need some psych consults. Karen: Umm� Audrey? Can you help here? Audrey walk over. Audrey: Tom? Tom breaks a smile. Tom! Tom: Hey mom. They hug. Audrey: Karen, this is my son, Tom Hardy. Tom this is one of our residents, Karen (yeah still don�t know that last name). She�s Scott Baldwin�s daughter. Tom: Ah, Scott�s good friend of mine, actually he�s my cousin. Good to meet you. Karen: You too. Audrey: How was Africa? Tom: It was great as usual. I really feel like I�m helping people out there. Audrey: That�s wonderful. Your niece Sarah is working here now. Tom: Really that�s great! Wow I remember when Stevie was little. Audrey: And you know that he would hate it if you called him that. Actually Sarah tells me that Steven would like to come work at General Hospital. Do you think you�d like to show him the ropes? Tom: Sure. Luke walks down the stairs. Luke: Tom, familiar faces everywhere. Tom: Hey Luke, what�s going on? Luke: Bobbie�s keeping all the psych patients on the third floor in psych. Tom: I�ll go on up there then. Good to see you ma. Audrey: You too Tom. Go on. He smiles and charges up the stairs. How many do we have for down here? Luke: Well two were DOA. Audrey rolls her eyes. Other than that just Alexis Davis. Audrey: She left too soon after leaving the hospital. Luke: Well she thought she had no choice. Anyways she�s fine, just some bruising and that. I have to go find my mother-in-law. Karen: Sixth floor. Luke nods. Luke: Thanks. Emergency Room Waiting Room Monica: I�m sure she�s fine, we�ll be back out in a moment. They nod. Monica walks away. Kristina: So it�s a sit and wait again? Jax: Chloe, are we going to have that talk? Chloe: Once we�re sure about Alexis. Come here Marie. Marie sits down next to Chloe. Jason: Kristina, are you okay? Kristina: Jason! She jumps up and runs to him. They hold each other for a moment. He stares at her, running his fingers through her hair. I�m sorry, I never got a chance to get a hold of you. Ned glances at Stefan who is staring menacingly at Jason. Jason: That�s all right. Julia called me and said that you were back so I came right over. Kristina glances behind her at everyone. She sighs, takes Jason�s hand and pulls him into a corner. Kristina: Alexis was hurt so I have to stay here until I�m sure she�s going to be okay. Other than that it seemed to go well, we managed to get Nikolas and everyone out alive, and we discovered some people in the process. Jason: Like who? Kristina: Well we found Chloe as you can seen also woman named Brenda, Jax and Ned seemed to know her. Jason: Brenda? Brenda Barrett? Kristina: Well she is Olivia�s sister. Jason: Wow, does Sonny know? Kristina shakes her head. Kristina: No I don�t think so. Jason nods. Anyways, I think I need to be with my family right now. I�m glad you came by though. Why don�t we have dinner tomorrow? Jason: That sounds like a plan. He leans in and kisses her. Well then, tell Alexis I hope she feels better and I�ll call you later. He touches her touch softly. Kristina smiles. Kristina: Okay. She kisses him again. She watches as he walks away. Stefan: Kristina? Kristina walks back over to her family. Kristina: I guess you know Jason Morgan. Stefan glances at Ned. Stefan: Yes I do, what happened to Frisco? A look of remembrance flashes over Kristina�s face. Kristina? Kristina: Stefan, Frisco doesn�t even remember who he was. What�s to say he doesn�t ditch me when he remembers his love for Felicia? Ned: Was that your thought the whole time you were with Frisco? Kristina looks from Stefan to Ned and back. She sighs and flops down in a chair. Kristina: Okay you caught me, I have no idea what I�m doing. I met Jason right after the mansion bombing and we got along great and I really liked him. Then I went to Russia and Jason wasn�t there and I met Frisco and he�s great too. She sighs rubbing her head. Ned: Kristina you don�t need to make up your mind this second. Take some time and think about it. Kristina nods. Stefan, forget your personal vendettas against Jason and Frisco, and if you have time against me. Stefan: I suppose I should just learn to like people that make my sisters happy. Alexis: Can I get that on tape? Marie: Alexis! She jumps off the chair and runs over to Alexis, hugging her waist. Alexis: Hey Marie. You okay? Marie: Yes. Alexis: Good. I want us to sit down and have a long talk but first can I walk to my family and Ned? Marie nods. Thank you. Marie walks back over to Chloe. Alexis walks over to Ned, who puts his arms around her waist. Ned: You�re okay? Alexis nods. That�s all I ever wanted to hear. She stares up at him. Then Alexis glances at Stefan, who nods and walks away. Alexis: Ned� She takes his hand and leads him away to a different set of chairs. They sit. Ned, when I was in that cavern, all I could think about was you, how I might never see you again. He reaches up and tucks a piece of hair behind her ear, running his fingers down her cheek. Ned you walked by the cavern later. Ned clears his throat and takes her hand. Ned: Yes with Tracy. She wanted to talk about Lois and Alexandria. Alexis: Oh is that all? He looks at her curiously. Ned: Yes, why are you asking me this? If I had noticed those rocks I would have gotten you out, and I�m sorry I didn�t. Alexis: I just� Ned: You can tell me Alexis. Alexis: I thought you were talking about me. You see when Alexandria and I fought she said that she was going to convince you that I was evil and all this other stuff that was unbelievably inaccurate. Ned nods. I just thought that was what you and Tracy were talking about. Ned: Alexis no one could ever convince me that what I think of you is not true. No one, especially not Alex or my mother. He touches her chin. Do you believe me? Alexis stares at him for a moment, but slowly she nods. Alexis: I was hoping you would say that. She sighs. I just� She stares up at him again. Ned put his arms around her, holding her close. Ned: I know. I�ll get you through this. She leans back. Alexis: I know. He leans down and kisses her. Ned: I love you. Alexis: I love you too. He cups her face in his hands and kisses her again. I need to get back to my family. He nods. They stand, take hands and walk back over the others. Chloe walks over and hugs Alexis. Chloe: Thank you all for coming to get me. Ned: When we read that letter we were so worried, especially when Alexis explained who Tony and Alex were. I�m glad to see you�re all right. Chloe: Yes I am, and Alexis I�m sorry for putting you through all that. Alexis smiles. Alexis: Anything for my best friend. Chloe smiles. Ned snakes an arm around Alexis�s waist. I see you�ve met my sister. Chloe: Yes now I know your whole family: Stefan, Nikolas, Kristina and Peter. Alexis: All the family that matters. She glances at Stefan. So Stefan, will you be returning to Wyndemere or are you going back on your whirlwind tour. Stefan smiles. Stefan: I sense that my leaving has given you and Kristina some ideas� No I will be returning to Wyndemere. Alexis smiles. Marie: Where do I go? Alexis walks over to Marie. Alexis: You�re going to come with me. Ned: And me. Alexis looks back at Ned and smiles. Alexis: Is that okay with you? Marie nods and smiles. Good. Ned, where are we going? They haven�t rebuilt the gatehouse yet? Ned: Actually they have, it just needed some fixing up. The mansion is still being fixed. Alexis: Then we�re going to go. Marie stands and takes Alexis�s hand. You ready hun? Ned: Of course. He smiles, dimples showing. Come on girls. They leave. Stefan: I�m going to find my nephew and head over to Wyndemere. Kristina would you like to join us? Kristina: No, I�m going to go up to the third floor and see how Frisco is doing. Jax: Be careful Kristina. Kristina nods and leaves, Stefan follows her. Chloe and Jax stare at each other. Chloe: You should have gone with Kristina to see Brenda. Jax stares at the floor for a moment. Jax, I�m not angry with you, she was the love of your life, and everyone knows that. You told V and I that over and over. Jax: I know, she�s just different now. Chloe takes Jax�s hand and they sit. Chloe: No she�s not different, she just doesn�t remember. Jax maybe Kevin or Dr. Hardy will be able to help these people. I mean brainwashing can�t be that hard to fix. Jax rubs Chloe�s hand thoughtfully. Jax: Is that what I want? Chloe: I can�t tell you that. Is it what you want? Jax: I don�t know. He stands. Chloe I know I had and still have feeling for you. Chloe: But it�s nothing like what you felt for Brenda� Jax looks down at her. Jax, I�m glad you came to save me and I know you would do almost anything for me, but I have come to realize that Brenda will always come first. Jax: Even if she�s not the same Brenda she always was? Chloe bites her lips and shrugs. He sighs, falling back into the chair. Jax rubs his forehead. I just, maybe I don�t love her anymore. Chloe: Jax you ditched me on our vacation because you thought you saw Brenda. Jax rolls his eyes. No, I�m not angry about it anymore, I understand. Jax, I may have never found my true love but I know if I had found mine and lost him, I would do anything to get him back. Come on, I�ve watched Ned and Alexis for years. Jax smiles. Jax: Yeah. He nods and glances up at Chloe. Are you sure she�s my true love? Chloe: You�re asking me? Jax: Maybe you�re the one I was meant to be with. Chloe: And if I was, we will find each other again. They stand. I will always love you Jax, but you have to do this. First, you need to give you and Brenda a chance and if that doesn�t work out then look elsewhere but you know you have to do this. Jax: Yeah. I love you too Chloe. She touches his face as he leans down and kisses her. Catch ya later. Chloe: Sure. She smiles. She takes his hand. Anytime you need a friend or a dance partner, even if I always break my heel, just call me. Jax: Kay. He smiles. Jax turns to walks away and slowly lets go of her hand. As he steps just out of Chloe�s reach, he turns and smiles at her. Then he leaves. Somewhere else in GH Nikolas: Peter I hope there are no hard feelings. Emily is my best friend and I don�t want to put her through anything. I also don�t want to there to be this whole competition for the Cassadine throne; you know your parents were going a little crazy with that. Peter: Let�s not speak of my parents at this moment, your uncle and your step-father have just killed them. Nikolas: I�m sorry I didn�t mean to refer to them in such loose terms. Peter puts his arm around Emily thoughtfully. Peter: I would like to put this behind us for Emily, for Alexis and for the family as a whole. Nikolas smiles. Nikolas: Great. They shake hands. So do you and Em want to come live on Wyndemere with us? Emily smiles. Peter: I can see that Emily wants to. Emily: It would be great Peter, you, me, Nikolas and Gia. What else could be better than that? Nikolas: I was planning on asking your sister to join us. Catherine, would you like to join us? Peter: Catherine, it would give me a chance to really get to know my sister. Catherine: Where is Marie going to live? Stefan walks up. Stefan: With my sister Alexis. She is younger than you, she�ll need more of a parenting type to look after her. Catherine: I never had a parent to look after me and I turned out okay. Nikolas glances at Stefan. Stefan: Miss Catherine I completely empathize with you. Alexis and I had no parent to look after us when we were young, unfortunately she took most of the brunt of that because I at least was a boy. Maybe Alexis is trying to make up for what happened to her, I don�t know. Catherine: Why with Marie? Why not with me? Stefan: Marie is only twelve, how old are you Catherine? Catherine: Eighteen. Stefan: Catherine, in America you are considered an adult. It is too late for us to make up for what happened in your past, but I would like you to be able to live with family that loves you. I would also like to give you the freedom to make your own decisions. It�s not just because Alexis found Marie first. Do you understand now? Catherine: Yes, I suppose I do. She glances at Nikolas. I don�t want to feel like a third wheel. I mean your fianc� will be there and so will Peter�s girlfriend. Nikolas: But Emily is still my best friend and you are Peter�s sister. It�s just time for us to get to know each other. If you�d rather I could see if Olivia and Courtney would let you live with them at Kelly�s. Olivia is closer to your age, but Emily is also close to your age. It�s your decision. Catherine: I guess we can do a trial at your place and if I don�t like it, I�ll move in with Olivia and Courtney. Emily: Yea! Peter laughs. Stefan: It has been a long few days, let�s go home.
