| - Nexis Valentines Day 2000! (The way it should have been) The setting: A log cabin just miles outside of town. There is a bright fire burning in the fire place, it's so bright it lights up the entire room. There is a blanket lying in front of the fire place with pillows proped up against the stone wall. There is a small table with flowers, champaing, a Valentines box of candy and a small elegant package. Ned and Alexis are standing outside the cabin talking before entering. Alexis: Ned what are we doing here I thought you said we were going to go dancing? Ned: we are! Alexis: where in the middle of no mans land, besides it's cold out here. Ned: Well then lets go inside. (Ned opens the door, they walk just inside the door) Alexis welcome to our annual Valentines date. Alexis: (Smiling at Ned) I can't believe you did this....when did you have time to do this....I love it. Ned: and I love you. ( they kiss) Come lets sit down in front of the fire. (he takes off her jacket and walks her towards the fire,they sit and stare at each other for a moment and then he takes her face in his hands and kisses her passioniatly) Ned: I give to you Alexis Davis flowers ( he hands them to her and she takes them) a box of candy. ( Alexis looks at the box) Alexis: OMG Ned this is great I love it! But how on earth did you ever find a heart shaped box filled with choc. covered strawberries? And where's my mystery gift? Ned: Alexis I would give you the world if i could, oh wait I already did. (Alexis smiles at him, they both start laughing. Alexis: Where's my present? Ned: Patentice my love all good things are those which you wait for! Besides i promised to take you dancing. (he grabs her arm and pulls her to her feet) Alexis: But there isn't any music playing. (Ned grabs her tight and starts singing to her as they dance.) ( Ned stops singing but they cont. to dance) Ned: Alexis darling have I told you lately how much I love you and how beautiful you are? (Alexis looks deep into his eyes and they kiss, they fall back on to the floor and make love) Next Scene: Ned & Alexis are sitting on the blanket the fire is still going strong, they have a blanket wrapped around them and they're drinking champaign. Alexis: Hey where is my present. Ned: Oh you mean the one I have behind my back. (Alexis tries to get it but Ned won't let her. they start wresstling . She picks up a pillow and starts hitting him with it. Suddenly Ned grabs her and Kisses her) Ned: Okay you win I will give you your present. ( Ned pulles out the small elegant box from behind him. He hands it to her and watches her open it. Alexis looks shocked) Alexis Davis will you do me the pleasure of becoming my wife? Alexis: Ned I don't know what to say ( she still has a shocked look on her face) I had no idea you were even thinking about getting married. Ned: (he grabs her face and holds it in his hands, they are inches apart) Alexis you mean the world to me and I don't want anything to keep us apart. I love you to much to just kiss you goodnight and go home to an empty house. My life is empty without you. (Alexis tries to pull away but Ned won't let her, you can see the fear in her eyes) I want to fall asleep in your arms and wake up to your beatiful face lying next to mine. I want to come home after a long day and know the first thing that I see... (she looks down he puts his hand under her chin and picks up her face forceing her to look at him)the first thing that I see when I walk through the door, is you. Please tell me you'll marry me just follow after me Yes! Alexis: Ned I love you so much and I don't want anything to happen to you! And I'm so afarid that if we get married something bad will happen and I'll lose you. Either you'll stop loving me or helena will try...(Ned cuts in) Ned: Alexis Honey the only way anything bad is going to happen to me is if you say NO, b/c you will break my heart.(he kisses her) There isn't anything anything in this world that you could do to make me stop loving you, it's just impossible. (he kisses her again) We've made it this far and I know we can make it all the way all you have to do is hang on tight and not let go!(he kisses her even more passionatliy) Just say yes!(he kisses her neck and it makes her body shiver). Alexis: Ned Ashton ( he begins to kiss the back of her neck) there is no winning with you! (Ned looks at her and smiles in agreement, he lifts her head up and starts to kiss her down the front of her neck) I love you so much and I have all the faith in you.(she's finding it real hard to concentrate) Yes I will marry you! ( Ned stops kissing her and looks up) Ned: Alexis Davis you've once again made me the happiest man on earth! ( he puts the ring on her finger she grabs him and kisses him. They slowly slide under the covers and make love. Next scene Alexis is sitting on the couch wearing nothing but Ned's shirt. Ned is sitting on the table in front of her in his pajama pants playing his guitar and singing "Lead you back Home" to her. The song ends he puts down the guitar and joins her on the couch. Alexis leans her body against his, she starts to rub his chest. He leans down and kisses her. Alexis: that was so beatiful, I still to this day don't know how you do it?(Alexis is admiring her ring) Ned: I couldn't do it without you. ( he kisses her ever so lightly) I love you! Alexis: I love you! (she puts her head against his shoudler and he holds her tight she once again looks down at her ring. Ned grabs her hand and smiles. The scene slowly fades to black.)
