| CHAPTER FOUR
A few days later Alexis walks into her office at L&B studios to find Stefan sitting behind her desk. "Good morning Stefan I wasn't aware we had a meeting today" Alexis asked questionable. "Have you taken care of Ashton yet" Stefan says coldly. Alexis just looks at him "taken care of". "Yes I don't want Ashton to become a problem between us like he has in the past" Stefan states as he get�s up and walks over to her. "The only reason Ned was any problem before is because you never liked him....I on the other hand happen to love him and he is not by far a problem" Alexis yells... " Good.......then I want you to accompany me to Greece. We'll be leaving in two hours I'll see you then" Stefan says as he begins to leave her office. "Wait Stefan.......I'm not going anywhere. I can't just leave town because you say so" Alexis yells. "Besides what's so important that we have to go to Greece" Alexis asked her curiosity getting the better of her. "I believe that is where Helena was holding lucky captured for all those months, before she moved him around. I'm hoping we could find a few clues to help us put her behind bars for good...........Now are you coming or not?" Stefan asked. Alexis looks around the room a few seconds before replying. �Stefan I can't if I leave town Ned will........" Stefan cuts her off �I thought you said Ashton wasn't a problem". "Stefan I love Ned and I just can't leave town without telling him.......... I'm sorry" Stefan sighs at her pleading tone. "fine then tell Ashton if you must but we will be leaving in two hours I'll see you at the gate" He turns and leaves as Alexis falls back onto her desk and closes her eyes and sighs. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Liz and Emily are in the main room of L&B talking about Lucky when Ned walks in. "Good morning all" Ned says with a smile on his face and a bounce in his step. �Well you�re in a good mood Ned" Emily replied as Liz laughed. �Yes I am........have either of you ladies seen Alexis this morning" Ned asked. �She�s up in her office talking with Mr. Cassidine" Liz replied " how long has he been here" Ned asked clearly annoyed with his presenceS. �I don't know, not long" Emily replied not looking up from the book she was reading. Just then Alexis walked downstairs. �Good morning Ned" Alexis says walking behind him and kissing him lightly on the lips. �I missed you last night I was under the impression you were coming back to my suite after your meeting with you�re Grandfather" Alexis said as she walked over and poured herself a cup of coffee. Ned placed his hands in his face a moment before walking over to her and placing them around her waist. "I'm sorry my meeting with Grandfather took longer then I expected and after it was over I wasn't in a very good mood. I didn't want to bring you down along with me" Alexis looks at him with sad eyes. "Okay I'll forgive you" She kisses the side of his face. "This time but I thought bringing each other down is what couples in love do" Alexis says with a smile and Ned laughs. Alexis closes her eyes quickly and jerks her body. "Are you okay" Ned asks with a lot of concern in his eyes. "Yea I'm fine I just have a headache that's all......... If you'll excuse me" Alexis stated before running off to the bathroom. Ned just looked at her and nodded his head. "Ned" Emily said getting up and walking over to him "I've noticed Alexis has been getting a lot of headaches lately is she alright" �I�ve noticed she gotten sick to her stomach a couple times as well" Liz adds. Ned is about to say something when Alexis walks back into the room "sorry about that, but I feel much better now" She says before kissing him again and then looking down. "Which will probably change soon because........ I.....I.....I need to talk to you about ....Ste.........Stefan �Alexis says quietly. Ned takes her hand and gives her an, I don't like the sound of this look as they walk into the back room. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` Ned and Alexis are sitting on the couch in the back room holding hands and looking into each others eyes. "Ned please what ever you do don't yell at me" Alexis pleads. "Ok fine then I suggest, you don't give me a reason to" Ned says firmly. Alexis starts to look away but Ned takes her face and pulls it up so their eyes continue to meet. "Alexis what is it that you are trying so hard not to tell me" Ned asked as Alexis closes her eyes. Ned jerks her face causing her to open them and she blurts out. "I'm going to Greece with Stefan in about an hour" Ned getting up and yelling "The hell you are. You aren't going anywhere with him especially out of the country" Alexis gets up "Ned I'll only be gone a few days........" No!" Ned yells cutting her off. �Ned your being unreasonable. Stefan is my brother and I love him..........besides he needs my help." "Fine.....fine if you want to help Stefan I guess I can live with that �.. not very gracefully might I add, but I can live with it" Alexis started to smile........"But you're still not going to Greece with him" Alexis threw her head back in disgust she knew telling him wasn't going to be easy but she never thought he'd be this upset. All of a sudden Alexis' head began to spin and she lowered her head down between her knees. Ned run over to her and made her sit on the couch. "That�s it Alexis your going to see a doctor" Ned said firmly. "Ned I'm fine it's just all the stress that's all" Alexis said trying to get up but Ned wouldn't let her. "Ned I need to call Stefan" "The hell with Stefan, if he wants to go to Greece so bad he'll go by himself. It's you I'm worried about now lye back" Ned said as he made Alexis lie down. He ran into the other room and came back with a blanket covering her up. He leaned down and kissed her forehead. �Alexis you�re burning up I really think you should see a doctor" "Sweetheart I'm fine really! You'll see all I need is some sleep" Ned nods his head in defeat. �fine but I'm not going anywhere until you fall a sleep" Alexis smiles at him. Ned lends down and kisses her on the forehead again before sitting on the floor in front of her. He watches her closely as she slowly falls a sleep. "I love you Ms. Davis and I'm not going to let anyone hurt you.......weather you like it or not" |
