CHAPTER ONE (This story begins after Stefan and Ned confrontation about Alexis' safety. Everything in the story is still the same) Alexis' is in her suite at the Port Charles Hotel going over some paperwork when she begins to feel dizzy. She blows it off and goes back to work, about an hour later someone knocks on the door. She gets up to answer it and again becomes dizzy. "Wow.......I think I've been working too much lately" There is another knock at the door "Alexis sweetheart I know your home let me in" Ned yells. Alexis opens the door as Ned grabs her spins her around and kisses her. "Have I told you how much I love you lately?" Alexis just shakes her head in response. "I love you more then life it's self Alexis Davis and tonight we are going to celebrate, like we've never celebrated before" He throws her back onto the couch. �What happened to you to put you in such a good mood" Alexis ask. "You" Ned says placing his body on top of hers and kissing her deeply. Ned breaks the kiss and looks at her �You�ll never guess what happened today" Alexis just smiles at him and begins to slightly laugh. "Today I not only signed a new distributor to L&B but signed a new band" Alexis' eyes grow wider. "Ned that's great. I knew you could do it". "Yeah well I couldn't do it without you" Ned states before kissing her again this time even deeper. Alexis pulls Ned shirt out of his pants just before Ned rolls their bodies onto the floor. Alexis screams as Ned's back hits the floor, their hands start exploring each other as they kiss. "Ned Ashton open this door now��. I know you�re in there" Edward yells through the door. Alexis collapses her body on top of Ned's while Ned sighs. " Grandfather what do you want I'm a little busy right now" Ned if you don't open this door right now I'll have someone open it for me" Edward yells back even louder and more annoyed then before. Alexis starts kissing Ned' neck and begins to unbutton his shirt. �Grandfather can't this wait" " No it can't.......now open the door" Edward yells. By this time Alexis has Ned's shirt completely unbuttoned and is straddling his lap unbuttoning her own blouse. Ned just lies there and watches her; he wants her more then ever. Edward begins banging on the door once again." Ned open the door or I'll open it myself" " I don't think you really want to do that Edward.� Alexis yells, while unbuckling Ned's pants. �You keep out of this missy. I'm here to see my grandson" Alexis just laughs and starts kissing Ned's chest. "You're finding this amusing aren't you?" Ned asked. �As a matter of fact I am." Alexis states teasingly. Ned just looks at her and rolls her off of him and gets up. "You know he will have someone open the door. Now get dressed and will continue this late......I promise" "You're no fun Ned Ashton" Alexis states while putting on her shirt Ned walks over and answers the door. �What do you want Grandfather" Ned ask Edward storms past him and stares at Alexis. "Well, what did you think we were doing" Alexis ask smiling. �Why don't you go in the other room............?� Edward begins to yell when Ned cuts him off. "Anything you have to say grandfather you can say in front of Alexis now spit it out". Ned said annoyed. �Fine........Ned I want you back at ELQ where you belong" Edward yelled. �Not a chance. I refuse to go back. I've started a new life now grandfather and the Ned Ashton you once new and loved to annoy, no longer exists" Ned walks over to Edward and basically pushes him out the door. " Now if you'll excuse me I was in the middle of something that I don't want to put off any longer" "But Ned" Edward pleads as Ned slams the door and turns back towards Alexis. �Good night Grandfather" He yells. �Now where were we" Ned asks as he places his hands around Alexis's waist and grabs her rear.� Actually I think you were a little higher" Alexis says with a laugh. �My mistake" Ned says as he picks her up and carries her into the other room where they finish what they started. CHAPTER TWO Alexis is on her way to her hotel room when she literally bumps into AJ. �I�m sorry AJ I didn't see you" AJ who is half wasted says. �Trust me nobody else seems to know when I'm around either. What do you say you make it up to me and allow me to buy you a drink" �AJ no offense but I think you've already had too many. Now if you'll excuse me I was on my way to my room" Alexis says as nice as possible. Alexis walks off and AJ begins to follow her. Alexis fumbles with her keys when AJ places his hand on her shoulder. �Alexis way can't we let bygones be bygones? Let me buy you a drink" AJ pleaded as Alexis turns around to face him. "Listen AJ I'm really not in the mood, besides I'd rather eat dirt then drink with you" Alexis said as cold as she could. �I guess you'd rather sleep with dirt as well. How else would you explain Ned" AJ says sarcastically. "Listen hear you little scum bag, Ned Ashton has more class then you have brains. Now go away" Alexis informs him. Just then AJ grabs Alexis pushes her against the wall and kisses her. Alexis pushes him off and smacks him. �Well I don't know what felt better' AJ laughs "the kiss or the slap". Alexis turns and puts her key in the door shaking her head, AJ smiles at her and grabs her butt. Alexis quickly turns around. �AJ if I were you I'd leave right now before I hurt you" Alexis yelled. AJ laughs and turns away like he's going to leave, Alexis sighs in relief as AJ grabs her face and kisses her again. Just then Ned comes around the corner and his mouth drops. Alexis pushes AJ and he flies across the room. �You little weasel your going to pay for that" Alexis yells. AJ laughs even harder and neither of them notices Ned. Until he punches him square in the face and AJ hit the ground. Alexis jumps back as Ned lends down and grabs AJ's shirt "Junior you�re lucky I don't kill you right here and now! If I ever see you touch Alexis again you won't be so lucky.� Ned yells. Alexis walks over to him and places her hand on his shoulder not quit sure what Ned will do next. �Ned let him go he's not worth it" Alexis pleads. Ned looks up at her and lets AJ go. �he didn't hurt you did he" Alexis shakes her head and takes his hand. "I just want to go inside and forget about this". Ned walks Alexis inside her suite and gives AJ a dirty look before shutting the door. Alexis has her hand on her forehead and is breathing rather heavily. Ned notices this and walks up to her "Alexis sweetheart sit down" He walks her over to the couch and she lies down. "Let me get you something to drink" Ned I'll be fine, I'm just a little tired that's all" Ned hands Alexis a glass of water and sits down next to her. "I want you to tell me if Junior bothers you again" Alexis closes her eyes and sighs. �I know you can take care of yourself I just don't want my family bothering you, especially Junior" Alexis looks at him and half smiles. �Honey are you feeling alright" Ned asked as he feels her forehead. "Your a little warm, maybe I should tuck you into bed" Alexis looks at him seductively. �So you can get some sleep" he says firmly. �Oh my, what is the world coming to when Ned Ashton wants to go to bed and sleep" Alexis says laughing. "Well you may not be feeling well but at least you still have your sense of humor" Ned says through laughter. "I love you Ned Ashton" "Yea I know I love you too and that's why if you aren't feeling well by tomorrow morning I'm taking you to the doctor" Alexis starts to speak but Ned cuts her off. �Don�t even think about arguing with me or I'll take you now........understand?" Alexis glares at him through the corner of her eyes. "I'm glad to see we understand each other..........now get some sleep" CHAPTER THREE The Next morning Ned wakes up and finds a note on Alexis' pillow. He yawns and opens the letter. To the man I love with all my heart, Sorry I couldn't stay in bed with you but I had a breakfast meeting with Stefan. I promise I won't be long, keep my side of the bed warm. `````````````````````````````````````````````Love always Alexis p.s I feel much better thank you! Ned rolls his eyes and mumbles something to himself before rolling out of bed and getting dressed. *^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^* Meanwhile Alexis is meeting with Stefan downstairs in the Grill. �Good Morning Alexis" Stefan says as he pulls out her chair. �Sorry I'm late, I guess I didn't hear my alarm go off" Alexis comments as Stefan just stares at her "have you been able to find anything on Helena" Alexis swallows and sighs. �I�ll take that as a no" �Stefan please give me a break. Proving Helena is behind anything let alone the kidnapping of Lucky Spencer isn't going to be easy". She pauses a moment "I shouldn't even be here right now" �That�s right you shouldn't �Ned yells and sits down as Alexis' buries her face in her hands. " Ashton this has nothing to do with you and I don't recall anyone inviting you to breakfast, so why don't you leave" Stefan states. " It's my hotel why don't you leave" Ned says annoyed Stefan is about to say something when Alexis cuts in and stands up quickly "you know what, I think I'll leave" she yells and then slightly falls back catching her balance on the chair in front of her. Ned gets up and holds her hand "sweetheart are you okay" Alexis lets go of Ned' hand "I'm fine, it's just been a terrible week and sitting here listening to the two of you fight isn't helping anything. Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to my room" �Fine I'll go with you" Ned quickly replies. Alexis gives him an evil look and walks off. "Ouch" Ned says quietly to himself. " Well you've done it this time Ashton and if you keep it up maybe Alexis will wise up and dump you once and for all" Stefan says calmly as Ned sits back down. "let me tell you something Cassadine if you think I'm going to just sit back and allow you to destroy Alexis once again you've got another thing coming" " Meaning" Stefan ask. "You know damn well what I mean" Ned says getting up from the table and leaving the Grill. ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^* Meanwhile Alexis is upstairs in the bathroom getting sick. �What on earth is making me feel like such crap" she thinks out loud to herself. Just then Ned comes through the front door. "Alexis sweetheart it's me Ned, I'm sorry about before" Alexis flushes the toilet and washes her face. �I�m in the bathroom Ned I'll be right out" Ned is sitting on the couch reading over a marketing report when Alexis comes out of her bedroom yelling at him. �Would you like to tell me what that was all about? I was under the impression we worked things out?" Ned gets up and walks over to her. "I don't recall working anything out, and as long as you are meeting with Stefan and discussing Helena I won't" Alexis walks past Ned and pours herself a glass of water, Ned places his face in his hands for a moment in frustration. "Alexis I'm sorry but I just don't understand why you feel like you owe him something. After everything he's done to you over the last few years he should be lucky your even talking to him" Alexis turns around and faces him " do you feel the same way about yourself" Ned looks at her with a confused look. �Oh don't be coy Ned think about it. I mean you yell about the way Stefan's treated me over the years but what about you. What about the way you treated me when you thought I was after your precious little company.................. Or how about after I defended Tony Jones" Ned is speechless. "Or better yet when all you wanted from me was sex" Alexis finally yelled as she walked into her bedroom and slammed the door. Ned just stood there a few moments thinking about what Alexis said before walking into the bedroom. `~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Alexis sat on her bed with her knees up and her head buried in them crying. Ned slowly walked over to the bed and sat down beside her. He placed his arm around her as she fell against him. �I�m sorry Alexis why didn't you ever tell me how you felt. I could have handled it, besides it's not good to hold these things in." Alexis picked her head up and Ned wiped away her tears. �If anyone should be sorry it should be me, I never should have yelled at you like that. It's just.........I don't know.........I feel like I'm losing my mind" Ned holds her tight. "I feel like the world is spinning in the opposite direction then me and no matter what I do I can't........ Get ahead" Alexis looks into Ned's eyes �I shouldn't have taken out my problems on you". "Hey that's what lovers do they help each other and they are always there for one another" Ned says trying to lighten the mood "think of me as your own personal sounding board. Have a bad day yell at me.............you want to hit something hit me" �what if I want to throw something"? Alexis asked laughing slightly "I'll learn to duck" Ned says with a smile causing Alexis to burst into laughter. |
