Chapter one

�I can�t believe Sorrel�s men didn�t catch us.� Emily stated as she watched Zander hot wirer another car.

�Tell me about it, I was so scared I almost lost my lunch.�

Emily walks over to the passengers side of the car and gets in. �You Zander Smith scared?�

�You know for a hostage you sure are very sarcastic.�

Emily laughed and poured a grape pixy stick down her throat. �Ya well for a kidnapper you�re kinda nice. So I guess that makes us even.�

Zander got the car running and yelled. �Yes, see I knew I could do it.�

�Well it�s about time.� Emily replied as she shut the car door. �I didn�t think we were ever going to get outta here.�

�Emily I�m sorry I know you want to go home and trust me if it wasn�t for the fact that I need you I�d let you go.�

�You could always make it up to me.�

Zander laughed. �Okay fine what do you want?�

Emily bite her bottom lip and looked him directly in the eyes. �To drive!�

�Oh no the last time I let you drive, you drove us right into a tree.�

�That�s not fair, I was avoiding a squirrel.� Emily pouted. �You really didn�t want me to turn that poor helpless creature into road kill did ya?�

�Fine it�s one thing you didn�t hit the squirrel, but did you have to hit the tree?�

�I�m sorry.� Emily pleaded �If you let me drive one more time I promise I won�t hit another tree.�

Zander couldn�t help but notice how cute she looked and at that moment wanted nothing more then to take her in his arms and kiss her.

�Hello.� Emily yelled as she waved her hand in front of his face. �Can I drive or what?�

Zander snapped out of his daydream and shock his head. �You promise not to hit anymore trees?�

Emily rubbed her hands together and got very excited . �Yes, I promise.�

�Then you can drive.� Zander reluctantly agreed.

�Thank you so much.� Emily stated as she slide her body on top of his and pushed him into the passenger seat.

�You know it would have been easier if I just got out of the car and walked around.� He stated as he struggled his way under her.

Emily just looked at him. �Oh yea I guess it would have been.�

Zander placed his hat over his eyes and slammed his head back into the seat. �Just do me a favor and don�t get pulled over?�

�I won�t.� Emily screeched as she high tailed it out of there.

Meanwhile back in Port Charles

�Any word on Emily?� Ned asked as he walked into the police station.

�Sorry honey, I haven�t heard anything.� Alexis stated as she gave him a slight kiss on the cheek.

�Oh for Pete sake is that all the two of you do?� Edward yelled as he walked up to them. �Emily is out there somewhere with a gun crazed druggie and you two can�t even keep you�re hands off one another long enough to help find her.�

�Grandfather I�m doing everything I can to help find Emily.� Ned replied

�Ya well tell me how does kissing a Cassidine help anyone?�

Ned looked at Alexis and then placed his arm lovingly around her. �She keeps me sane.�

�More like insane.� Edward says under his breath

�Hey guys.� Mac says as he approaches them.

�Have you found my Granddaughter yet?�

�No we haven�t.� Mac replies. �But we do have a positive idea on a young couple fitting Emily and Zander� description just outside of Canada.�

�That�s great.� Ned stated.

�What�s so great about it?� Edward bellowed. �Emily is still with that hooligan and the police department is still no closer to catching them.�

�That�s not true Mr. Quatermaine. I have officers following their path as we speak.� Mac stated.

�Excuse me Mac this just came in.� Taggert stated.

�Is it about Emily?� Ned questioned

Mac looked at the file and then looked up at Ned, Alexis and Edward. �Yes it is.�

�Well what the hell does it say?� Edward asked cutting Mac off.

�Two teenagers were just reported less then an hour ago steeling a car just five miles from the boarder.�

�You think it�s them, don�t you?� Alexis asked.

�Well we�re not sure the man didn�t get a close enough look at them.� Mac replied as he once again looked at the report. �All it says here is the man says he was walking towards his car when he saw it take off down his driveway. The person driving was a teenage girl with long brownish hair.�

�What about Zander?� Ned asked

�He says there seem to be what he believed to be a teenage boy in the passenger seat, but he couldn�t tell because the passenger was wearing a baseball cap over his face.� Taggert added.

�That�s got to be them.� Ned stated as he pulled out his cell phone and dialed a number. �Yes I want the jet fueled and ready to leave the ground in less then fifteen minutes.�

�Ned what are you doing?� Alexis asked as he hung up the phone.

�I�m going to find Emily.� He said as he kissed her lips lightly and walked off.

�Fine then I�m coming with you.� She yelled as she followed him out the door.

�You mean you�re not going to try and talk me out of it?� He asked as they picked up the pace.

�Would you listen to me if I tried?�

�No!� He stated as he jumped into his car.

�Then why should I waste my breath?� She added as she got in.

~ Unknown Motel Room 31~

�Lucky I don�t see how going to this rave tonight is going to help us find Emily?� Liz stated. �We�ve been to like five raves in the last three days and nobody has seen or heard anything about Zander or Emily.�

�Liz we can�t give up hope.� Lucky said as he sat down on the bed next to her. �Emily would never give up on us so I refuse to give up on her.�

�I didn�t mean to imply that we should give up. I just meant I think going to this rave tonight is a big waste of time.�

�Well do you have any other suggestions of how we might be able to find them.?�

�No, I don�t.� She stated as she threw herself back onto the bed.

�Then I suppose we get dressed and head out to the party.�

~Unknown Motel Room 32~

�Sorry about the single room.� Zander stated as he unlocked the door and they walked in.

�Ya I know you were afraid if you let me get my own room I�d take off.� Emily said clearly annoyed.

�It�s not that.� Zander stated. �It�s just if we get caught and your next door I can�t very well use you as a bargaining chip, can I?�

�No I suppose you can�t.� Emily said as she looked around the room. �You�d think the least they would do is clean the rooms before they re rent it.�

�What do you want for a two bit cheap motel?�

�Oh room service would be nice.� Emily laughed.

�If I were you darling I�d be more worried about the sheets on the bed being clean.� Zander stated as Emily laid back onto the bed.

�Ewww.� Emily screeched as she quickly jumped up. �I think I�ll sleep on the floor tonight.�

�Well hopefully I can get a hold of my friends and will only have to be here for one night.�

�You seem so sure they are going to be able to get us across the border without being spotted.�

�Don�t worry everything is going to work out fine, all we need to worry about right now is finding a way to get some more cash.�

�This is pretty bad you kidnap someone from a highly wealthy family and we�re running out of money.�

�You come from a wealthy family?� Zander asked completely thrown off guard.

�Like that�s going to do us any good now?�

�Well then how about going to a party?� Zander asked as he looked through some papers the last guest left.

Emily looked at him like he had two heads. �We�re on the run and you want to go to a party?�

�Yea, there�s a rave just down the street from here and it started an hour ago. It�s probably in full steam by now.�

�Why on earth would you want to go to another rave? I mean correct me if I�m wrong but isn�t attending a rave what lead us into this mess in the first place?�

�Well yes it did but it could also be what helps us out of it.�

�I don�t get it.�

�We need money right?� Emily just nodded her head yes. �And we can�t use your credit cards right?� she nodded her head no. �So then we need another way to make money, right?�

�How is going to a rave going to make us money?� She asked not sure if she really wanted to the know the answer.

Zander looked at her for a moment before pulling a couple small bags of pills out of his pocket. �By selling these.�

�You can�t be serious?� Emily yelled

�Emily we really need the money and I don�t see any other way of getting it.�

�Great so now you want to turn me into a drug dealer!�

�No not at all.� Zander shot back. �I�m, going to sell them all on my own I just want you to come with me in case I need your help.�

�Zander this is crazy......what if we get caught?�

�Emily we�ve made it this far and I have no intention of getting caught. Besides if we don�t get some more money and soon we�re sure to get caught.� He looked at her. �So are you in or what?�

�I�d hate for you to get caught because of me, so yes I�m in.�

�Great then let�s go!�
