The Next day. Alexis, Brenda and V walk into Kelly�s, where Bobbie is behind the counter. The three of them walked up and took seats at the counter to question Bobbie.

�So�� Alexis inquired Bobbie.

Brenda and V, who were on either side of her were smiling as well.

�So what?� she asked innocently.

�So what happened with you and Jerry last night?� she asked annxiously.

�Oh that. Well, I do have one thing to say about that. It certinly does feel different to be a married women.� Bobbie said slowly raising her voice, holding up her ring finger to show them a gold wedding band and disappearing into the back.

Alexis, Brenda and V stood at the counter in awe.

�You got married!!!� all three of them cried running to hug Bobbie.

�Careful, Careful!� Bobbie told V and Alexis. � You�re both pregnant!� she whispered, knowing that not everyone knew about their pregnancies or even V and Brenda�s return to town, although the news was quickly spreading because she knew that by know the Quartermaines surly knew.

�We�re fine!� Alexis told her pointing back and forth from herself to V.

The Gatehouse. Ned and Emily are having breakfast. Brooke is upstairs sleeping.

�So Emily, have you and Zander told the family of your engagement yet?� Ned inquired.

�No. And I�m not looking forward to it either.� She said the happiness being sucked out of her voice.
�I think Zander and I are going to have to do it sooner or later. I mean I can�t just keep them in the dark.� She said starting to bring her cup to her lips but quickly set it back down. Pausing she said, � I can�t can I?� she questioned.

�No.� Ned told her laughing. �I wish you could.�

�Me too.� Emily said.

They both heard the door open and went to see who it was.

�Hey guys.� Alexis said smiling who was accompined by V and Brenda. �Look who I ran into.� Zander walked in, smiling.

�Hey. I thought you were at work.� Emily told her fiance, walking over to hug him and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek.

� I got off early.� Zander said off hand. �I thought this might be a good time to tell your family about our engagement.� He continued.

�Ooohh.� Emily groaned. �Do we gotta?� she whinned as if she were two instead of twenty-two.

�Yes you do.� Ned said from behind her.

�Why don�t Ned and I go with you?� Alexis suggested.

�Would you really?� Emily asked Alexis pleading, hope in her eyes.

�Of course honey.� Alexis reassured her, putting her hand on Emily�s shoulder.

�Brenda, V, would you two watch Brooke for a while?� Ned asked.

�Sure.� Brenda and V said in union.

�Okay, we�ll be back in a flash.� Alexis said shuffling everyone out the door up to the mansion.

The mansion. The living room. People there are Monica, Alan, Skye, Edward, Lila, A.J. and Reginald.

Ned, Alexis, Emily and Zander enter the living room.

�Hello all.� Ned greeted them. Ned and Alexis are holding hands as are Zander and Emily. Ned and Alexis stand behind Zander and Emily. Alexis� spare hand rests on Emily�s shoulder comforting and Ned�s on Zander�s.

� Ned. What the Devil are you doing here?� Edward questioned.

�Shut up you over blown air bag.� Monica spat.

�Emily, how are you?� Monica asked her tone completely changing.

�We..uh we uh�� Emily stamered, pointing back and forth between her and Zander.

�We have an annocement.� Zander cut in.

Emily shot a thankful look in his direction.

�We�� Emily started to say.

�Zander and Emily are getting married.� Alexis finnished for them.

Emily and Zander both shot very thankful looks at Alexis. She smiled down at both of them.

�THEY�RE WHAT?!� Edward bellowed.

�You diviant!! I am not going to allow you to take my grand-daughter out of my house away from my protective care-�

�Grand-father. My moving out had nothing to do with our engagement. I moved out long ago.� She said calmly smiling.

�Well-I-� Edward stammered.

�Congratialation.� Monica told her daughter, kissing her daughter on either cheek and giving Zander a rather awkward hug. Alan followed in suit.

�Emily, congrationlations.� Skye said, sugar coating every word.

�Thanks Skye.� Emily said bitterly trying to hold her tounge.

�Congratiolations dear.� Lila said from the corner. �Zander please come here for a moment.� Zander looked worriedly at Emily who urged him to go. Zander carefully went and bent next to Lila�s wheelchair.

�You diviant. You better leave my wife alone or I�ll-I�ll-� Edward started again.

�Oh Edward put a sock in it!� Lila told her husband sternly before turning back to Zander.

�Zander, despite how you and Emily met I know you two are soul mates and are right for each other and I know you will take care of my grand-daughter. Much like Ned and Alexis.� She said smiling in their direction.

�I will Mrs. Quartermaine, I will.� Zander promised and kissed her hand before he went back over to Emily.

�Um, there�s someone here to see you.� Reginald said interupting the family.

�For who?� Ned asked.

�Everyone.� Reginald said a little uneasy.

�Reginald, who is it?� Lila asked Reginald.

�Hello all. Long time, no see.� A dark haired woman waltzed into the living room.

�Alexis who is that?� Zander whispered to Alexis.

�That is, if I am not mistaken, my mother-in-law.� Alexis said, her voice dropping.

�Tracy what the hell are you doing here!? We banned you from the family.� Edward told his daughter.

By now, Emily and Zander had moved beside Ned and Alexis, Zander being beside Alexis.

�Ned, Darling! How are you!?� Tracy exclaimed walking over to her son, ingoring her father�s bitter comment.

�Mother.� Ned said tight lipped, squeezing Alexis� hand very tightly.

�Who is this?� she asked looking at Alexis.

�Mother, this is my wife and future mother of my child, Alexis Ashton.� He said placing his hands squarly on Alexis� shoulders and moving her in front of him.

Tracy was speachless, after she found her voice all that she managed to say was
�Oh?�

�Hi.� Alexis said putting a fake smile on.

�Hi.� Tracy said smiling back.

�Grandfather, may I see you in the foyer for a moment?� Ned directed Edward.

�What? Oh yes, of course.� Edward said catching on and following Ned to the foyer.

�If you hurt Ned-� Tracy said

�What? What will you do? Tracy, you have finally met your match.� Alexis said glaring her mother-in-law in the eyes.

�Really?� Tracy questioned skeptical.

�Tracy, my father tried to freeze the world, my father�s wife hates me and has tried to kill me a number of time. She cut my mother�s throat-while I watched. So yeah, I believe you have met your match.� Alexis said.

Tracy stood there dumb founded.

�Your father is Mikkos-� Tracy started to stammer.

�Cassadine. Yes that�s right. I�m a Cassadine.� Alexis said smiling smugly.

�Well, you won�t win. I don�t care who you are lady.� Tracy said sternly before Ned and Edward walked back in from the foyer.

�Okay, Mother. You can stay. Under one condition.� Ned said grinning.

�What?� Tracy asked.

�You get back your shares of ELQ from Sonny Corinthos and sell them-to me.� Ned said smiling smugly.

�What? How did you-� Tracy started to say.

�I don�t want to hear it mother. I don�t want to know why you even sold them to Sonny in the first place. Just get them back.� Ned said smiling at Edward, they exchanged glances.

�Grandmother, how would you like to come and visit with your great grand-daughter?� Ned said smiling foundly at Lila.

�Brooke is here?� Lila asked breaking into a smile.

�Yes and she would LOVE to see you.� Alexis put in.

�Well, what are we waiting around for?� Edward asked.

�I don�t recall inviting you Grandfather.� Ned said pointedly. �Oh. Well, I suppose you can come.� Ned said.

Alexis started to wheel Lila out, followed by Edward and Ned.

�Ned, when can I see Brooke?� Tracy asked, her tone softening at her grand-daughter�s name and although she would never admit it she was happy that Ned was going to have another child because from what she had heard Ned really did love this woman.

�Never. Sit. Stay.� Ned commanded her and then following Alexis, Lila and Edward out the door to the Gatehouse. Zander and Emily stayed behind with the others to discuss their engagement. Alexis squeezed Emily�s hand tightly on her way out.

�Good Luck.� She whispered to her quietly.

Emily smiled weakly at her.

Gatehouse. Brenda and V are sitting on the couch playing with Brooke. Ned, Edward and Alexis wheeling Lila enter.

�Hey. Guess who we brought?� Alexis said to Brooke.

�Grandma!! Grandpa!!� Brooke yelled getting up. Edward bent down to hug the little girl.

�Hello sweetheart.� Lila said. Edward sat Brooke on Lila�s lap carefully.
