CHAPTER FOUR

The next afternoon. The Gatehouse. Jax and Kristina have been filled in on Emily being Alexis� daughter.

�Alexis you have to tell Emily!� Ned told her sternly. They were sitting side bye side on the couch. Jax and Kristina sat opposite in armchairs.

�He�s right Alexis.� Kristina said looking at her sister.

Jax nodded. �For once I have got to agree with Ned.� he said. Ned rolled his eyes at him.

�I know. I just, I�m afraid of how she�ll react.� Alexis said on the verge of tears.

�Honey, Emily adores you. She wants to be just like you �she wants to be a lawyer just like you.� Ned said trying to comfort her.

Alexis nodded unable to speak.

�Uh Jax didn�t you say you wanted to show me something outside?� Kristina said looking at Jax.

�No I don�t think so.� Jax replied turning his attention back to Alexis.

�YES you did. You just forgot. Remember Jax?� Kristina said emphasizing her words.

�OH! Right. The Thing-outside.� Jax said finally catching on. �Come on Kristina, I�ll show you the thing outside.� Jax said getting up from the armchair. Kristina followed closing the door on her way out as she slapped Jax on the arm.

�Come on honey, why don�t I go with you to tell her?� Ned suggested resting his hand on her knee.

�Really? You would come with me?� She asked hopeful.

�Of course.� Ned said laughing.

�Oh Thank You!� She said practically jumping into his arms and hugging him. Then she planted a kiss on him as they got lost in the kiss.

Meanwhile, outside the Gatehouse, Jax and Kristina are taking a walk.

�Jax can I ask you something?� Kristina asked

�Sure. What?� he asked.

�Do you think Ned and Alexis will ever get married?� She asked.

�Well you certainly don�t beat around the bush! Ned and Alexis love each other very much, probably more than anyone, but their both so commitment phobic, Alexis more than Ned obviously, and who knows if they will ever get married. Of course, any idiot can see that they should. Unfortunately, they can�t see the obvious.� Jax said smiling at her.

�Wow.� was all Kristina could manage to say.

�So let me ask you something.� Jax said smiling.

�Hmm?� Kristina asked.

�What are you doing Saturday night?� Jax asked.

Kristina stopped short like a dog in his tracks. She turned towards Jax folding her arms across her chest.

�Are you asking me out on a date Jasper Jacks?� She summoned.

�So what if I am? You wanna make something of it?� He inquired.

�Maybe I do.� She said softly.

�So what do you say?� he asked.

�I say..see you at seven.� she said as the reached the door to the Gatehouse. They turned the doorknob and let themselves in. Ned and Alexis were still on the couch kissing.

�Ahem.� Kristina said clearing her throat.

�Kristina!� Ned said as Alexis got up off him smoothing her dress out.

�Well seems as if we walked in on something we shouldn�t have.� Kristina said giggling.

�Uh, we were just leaving.� Alexis said getting up.
�Yeah we see how anxious you were to get out of here.� Jax said laughing.

�Okay sweetheart, are you ready to go over to see Emily?� Ned asked her gently ignoring Jax and Kristina.

�Yeah. I think so. If you�re by my side� Alexis said trying to be brave. Ned took her hand in his and they walked out the Gatehouse and headed to Kelly�s.

�God they are amazing.� Kristina said to Jax after Ned and Alexis left.

�I know someone else who is pretty amazing herself.� Jax said smiling as Kristina blushed. �I�ll see you Saturday night at seven.� He said and with that he left, letting the door slam behind him.

Emily�s room above Kelly�s. She and Zander are in there goofing around. Ned and Alexis knock on the door.

�Zander! Stop it! I have to see whose at the door!� Emily screamed as Zander kept trying to kiss her and she pushed him away.

Emily ran for the door, Zander close behind, his arms wrapped around her, she opened the door , breathing hard to see Ned and Alexis standing hand in hand.

�Ned! Alexis! Hi, come in, come in.� Emily said trying to catch her breath.

�Are we interrupting something? Because if we are we can come back.....� Alexis trailed off eyeing Zander.

�No, not at all. Zander was just um...� Emily said trying to think of something to say.

�It�s alright. I understand.� Alexis said smiling at them.

�So..What�s up?� Emily questioned.

�I was wondering if I could speak with you Emily, alone if you guys don�t mind.� Alexis said looking at Zander and Ned.

�Are you sure honey? You don�t want me to stay with you? You don�t have to do this alone you know.� Ned said to her.

�I�m sure. I�ll be fine. I need to do this myself Ned.� Alexis said as Ned kissed the top of her head. Emily and Zander exchanged looks but said nothing.

�Come on Zander, why don�t we go...� Ned said pointing towards the door.

�Get a cup of coffee?� Zander supplied.

�Yeah.� Ned said clapping his hands together and they went downstairs shutting the door behind them.

�What�s up Alexis?� Emily asked when the guys left. �Are you and Ned....� Emily asked.

�Ned and I are...trying to work things out.� Alexis said smiling warmly at her.

�Well I�m glad. You guys really were made for each other. I�ve always felt like you were like a second mother to me.� Emily told her sitting down on her bed.

�More than you know.� Alexis said smiling to herself. �Emily, the reason I came here. There�s something I need to tell you.� she said sitting down beside her on the bed.

�We are related more than almost in-laws.� She said quietly.

�What? Alexis what are you talking about?� Emily asked confused.

�Emily, a long time ago, when I lived on the Cassadine island, I fell in love with one of the servants. His name was Andrew. We tried to keep it a secret from Helena and Stavros but then I got pregnant, Helena found out and she had him killed. After I gave birth, Stefan helped me escape from the Island. I went to work at a small law firm. My first case was a woman who had been abused by her husband. The woman had been trying to get pregnant but couldn�t. The doctors said she wouldn�t be able. I wanted to be able to protect my daughter from Helena. I knew it was only a matter of time before Helena would find her and kill her too. During her case we became great friends. Probably my best friend. Anyways, I let her adopt my daughter afterwards to protect her from Helena. I kept in touch with her for many years�nine or ten maybe . Then we lost touch after she moved to Arizona. A couple years after that she came to Port Charles but she had no idea I lived here and I never saw her until many years afterwards. Only a couple weeks actually. She died of breast cancer. Emily, that woman�s name was Paige Bowen and that means that you...�

�Are you daughter.� Emily said tears streaming down the side of her face. She fell forwards to hug Alexis. They sat like that for probably ten minutes

�Oh gosh, isn�t this ironic?� Emily said laughing through her tears.

�Yes. I guess it is.� Alexis said through her own tears. Then the door opened and Zander and Ned walked back in laughing then stopped short seeing the girls.

�Oh Zander you know I think I forgot something..� Ned said heading back out.

�Yeah I think you did.� Zander said and he Ned started walking out the door talking at the same time.

�Yeah, yeah okay would you two goofballs get your butts back in here!� Emily yelled laughing and crying at the same time.

Ned and Zander turn back towards them and do a double take looking at each other first as if to say �who, us?�

�Yes you two.� Alexis said as if she were reading their minds.
They both laugh and go over and Ned kisses Alexis and Zander, Emily.

�Emily, you are welcome to move in with me if you like.� Alexis told her standing up beside Ned.

�Really? Alexis I would love to!� She said jumping up and hugging her.

�I think what she means is us.� Ned supplied.

�Well you don�t mind sweetie do you?� Alexis said sweetly.

�No. Alexis is moving into the Gatehouse with me.� Ned explained to Em and Zander.

�Well, I�ll see you later then...Mom.� Emily said trying the word out.

�Okay...I like the sound of that.� Alexis whispered as she gave Emily a hug goodbye.

Alexis and Emily pull away from each other and Ned and Alexis leave waving goodbye to Zander.

CHAPTER FIVE

It is now Saturday night. Kristina knocks on the Gatehouse door. She has a pile of dresses pilled in her arms. Alexis answers the door. She is eating popcorn. Ned is laying on the couch asleep.

�Alexis, I need help! I can�t decide what to wear and I have to be at the Grille in an hour and a half !� Kristina said dumping the dresses on the couch on Ned�s face unaware that he is there. Alexis ignores the fact that its Ned.

�Alight Kristina, tell me what�s going on.� Alexis said calmly.

�I have a freakin date and I don�t have anything to wear!� Kristina said.

Meanwhile, Ned has woken up unbeknownst to Alexis and Kristina.

�A date? With who?� Alexis pressed.

�Someone.� Kristina said fidgeting.

�And does this someone have a name?� she asked.

�Jax.� Kristina said quietly.

�Ooohhh.� Alexis said smiling.

�Okay, I�ll help.� She gave in.

�Thank you!� Kristina said.

�Uh, I�m really happy that your going on a date with Jax but could somebody help me out over here?� Ned called out from under the clothes.

�Ned?� Alexis asked.

�Ned!� Kristina said pulling the dresses up off of him.

�Oh honey, I�m sorry I didn�t mean to let you drown in dresses.� she said smiling at him and kissing him gently on the lips but getting too lost in the moment she forgot Kristina was there.

�Ahem. Woman in crisis over here.� Kristina said clearing her throat.

�Oh right. I gotta go help Kristina decide what to wear.� Alexis said.

�Alrighty. I�ll see you a little later then.� He said sitting up as Alexis and Kristina go upstairs to the bedroom.

Ned and Alexis� bedroom. Alexis is laying on the bed, stomach down. Kristina is trying on dresses.

�How about this one?� Kristina said coming out in a satin white dress.

Alexis looks at her like she�s crazy. �I don�t think so. You�re hair is too red and your skin is too pale.� Alexis said picking up a nail file and starting to file her nail.

�Well, I don�t know then Lex. I�ve tried everything. What�s left?� she asked sinking into the bed.

�Mmm...what about this one?� she asked picking up a light pink dress with spaghetti straps that was knee length.

�I don�t know. Won�t it clash with my hair?� she asked her doubtfully.

�No! It�ll look great. � she assured her.

�Well if your sure...� Kristina said trailing off.

�I�m sure Kris, I�m sure.� Alexis said using a nickname for her sister.

�Alright. I�ll use it then.� she asked. Look, now I have to go get ready. Alexis said laughing.

�Where are YOU going?� she grilled her sister.

�Ned and I are going out.� she said simply .

�Uh-huh and where are you going on your date?� she quizzed.

�The Grille.� Alexis said quickly. ��Well someone has to keep an eye on you two so Ned and I figure it might as well be us.� Alexis said in her defensive when Kristina gave her a questioning look.

They both busted out laughing.

�Hey can I borrow that white dress?� Alexis asked.

�Yeah, sure why? Don�t you have a dress?� Kristina asked.

�Yeah, I just got an idea.� Alexis said as if a light bulb had just gone off in her head.

�You can have it as far as I�m concerned.� Kristina said.

�Great. Okay, you have to help me with my hair.� Alexis said.

�Okay...god I�ve only known you for two weeks and we�re already doing each others hair and borrowing clothes!� Kristina said smiling. Alexis laughed.

�Alright come on, this is what I have in mind....� Alexis said as she and Kristina sat on the edge of the bed and she started explaining her plan with Kristina getting very excited. (If this were the actual show you would see them talking but wouldn�t be able to hear what they were saying as it faded out.)

A little before seven. There�s a knock at the door. Alexis and Kristina are still upstairs getting ready. Ned is dressed in a tux. He opens the door to reveal Jax, who�s dressed in a tux also. ( I would have said blue suit but he doesn�t really seem like a suit and tie kind of guy. *G)

�Hey Jax, come on in.� Ned said swinging the door open and closing it behind him.

�Hi. Kristina ready? And why are you dressed like that?� Jax questioned Ned eying his tux.

�Alexis and I are going to the Grille.� Ned explained.

�Kristina and I are going to the Grille.� Jax said confused.

�I know.� Ned said. He paused for a minute. �Well someone needs to keep an eye on you two so we figure why not us?� Ned said smiling his charming smile.

Jax just sighed and smiled. Then they heard Kristina�s voice fill the air.

�Alright are you boys ready to see the two most gorgeous girls in the town of Port Charles?� she yelled.

�Yeah, sure.� Jax yelled. Ned just smiled. Kristina came down first in the pink dress Her hair is up with some butterfly clips with some strands hanging down (like Chloe used to do). She has ruby earrings and a necklace on. She has on red strappy sandals.

�Wow.� Ned is the first to speak. �You look fabulous.� he said being polite.

Jax was speechless at first but he finally found his voice. �You look beautiful.� he managed to say as he took her hand as she came down the stairs.

�Alexis! Come on!� Ned yelled up the stairs.

�Coming!� she yelled. Alexis came down the stairs in Kristina�s white spaghetti strap satin dress that hung past floor length that dragged a little on the floor. Her hair was in curls and she had a tiara on her head.

�Oh my god.� Ned said breathless as he helped her down the rest of the stairs.

�You look so beautiful.� he said bringing her close to her.

�Ned, I have to ask you something.� she whispered.

�Anything.� he said still trying to get over how beautiful she looked.

�Marry Me.� she whispered to him, their faces inches apart.

�Alexis are you sure your ready?� he asked. Looking at her tentivly.

�Yes. Ned, I told you I wanted to want to marry you. And now I want to marry you.� Alexis said smiling at him. �You notice I never took the ring off.� she said holding her hand up for him to see.

�God, Alexis, I love you more right now that I have probably ever have.� he said telling her truthfully.

Alexis had tears running down her face. Ned wiped them away to keep her mascara from smudging.

�Thanks.� she managed.

�So when are we going to do this?� he asked smiling.

�Tonight.� She whispered.

�Tonight?� he asked confused.

�Ned. Don�t you remember what today is?� she asked him quietly.

�No...Oh....December 18th . � he said quietly remembering.

�It�s been one year exactly. Besides, I want the same day.� she said quietly and they embraced each other in a hug. They heard Kristina and Jax clapping.

They turned around , Ned having his arm around her. Kristina was smiling.

�Congratulations. It�s about time.� Jax said.

�Yeah, yeah, yeah just go on your date. Get out of here.� Ned said.

�Whoa-whoa-who.� Alexis said stopping them. �You two aren�t going anywhere � she said.

�Why not?� Jax asked.

�Because. I need a maid of honor and he needs a best man.� Alexis said as she and Kristina exchanged a look.

�You knew didn�t you?� Jax said looking at Kristina.

�Maybe.� she said giggling.

�Hold on.� Alexis said walking over to the phone to dial a number.

�Hello?� Alexis hear Emily�s voice say into the phone.

�Hey hon, it�s me.� she said.

�Hi mom. What�s up?� she asked.

�Is Zander with you?� she asked.

�Yes why?� she asked.

�Never mind. I�ll tell you when you get there. Tell Zander to get a tux on. You find a pink dress and meet us at the Port Charles Airport in an hour.� Alexis said.

�Okay.� Emily said unsure.

�See you then. Bye.� she said turning back to Ned.

�I need my daughter at my wedding. � she said seriously.

�What about my daughter?� Ned asked.

�Take a chill pill Ned. We�re stopping by Brooklyn. I already called Lois and she agreed.� she said laughing at him. �Come on guys.� she said as Ned and Jax helped Alexis and Kristina with their coats and they headed to the airport to meet Emily and Zander.

An hour later the four of them are all on Jax�s jet waiting for Em and Zander just as they walk in.

�Mom?� Emily called with Zander close behind.

�Em! Hi.� she said as Emily came in wearing the dress from the first wedding. She gave Emily a hug.

�What�s going on....� she trailed off seeing Alexis in her wedding attire. �Wait.....are you and Ned...I mean ... Oh my god, today is your anniversary and oh! I�m so happy!� Emily said hugging them both and Zander shook Ned�s hand and gave Alexis a kiss on her cheek.

�So where are we going guys?� Jax asked as the pilot started the plane up.

Ned and Alexis looked at each other and then said in unison, �Belize.�

�That�s where the first wedding was.� Alexis exclaimed.

�No, the first one was in Port Charles.� Emily said.

�No, when Ned proposed to me the first time, we tried to get married in Belize but then the media found us.� Alexis explained.

�Oh.� Jax, Emily, and Zander nodded in understandment.

�Uh...excuse me, media?� Kristina asked.

�Um, yeah I was a tad famous for a while.� Alexis said.

�Tad?� Ned said laughing.

�Well, it was all your fault!� she yelled.

�Would someone explain this to me?� Kristina asked.

�When Ned did the Eddie Maine comeback Alexis went to surprise him in his hotel room and was a bit uh revealing and then the camera guy who was doing an interview on a day in the life of Eddie Maine got the footage when Ned opened the door and there was your sister on the bed in a teddy with a red rose in her teeth and bam, she becomes an international spectacle.� he said as Kristina tried not to laugh.

�Yeah and after we got caught in Belize Ned here came up with the brilliant idea that having a huge wedding would scare the media away forever.� she said sarcastically and Ned looked down sheepishly at his shoes.

Kristina couldn�t stand it anymore she bursted out laughing. Ned and Alexis just rolled their eyes and smiled.

�Oh and Ned, I managed to get the same minister too.� she said smiling.

�Wow, you�re good. You even got Sam.� he said laughing. By this time, they are all sitting down involved in their own conversations, Ned and Alexis, Jax and Krissy and Emily and Zander.

A few hours later, they are all ready for the wedding and waiting for Sam to arrive. They have the same hotel suite and are out on the balcony, where the ceremony will be performed. It is all decorated with white lilies and garland with white Christmas lights too. Sam arrives with his wife and they start the ceremony. Jax and Zander stand behind Ned and Krissy, Brooke and Em behind Alexis. All of the girls hold white Lilies.

�Let us begin.� Sam said. �We are here to join Edward Lawrence Ashton and Natasha Alexis Christina Davidadich in holy matrimony. We hope that third time�s the charm� he continued. Everyone laughed.

�Do you, Alexis take Ned to be your husband, for better or for worse, in sickness and in health till death do you part?� he said to Alexis.

�I do.� she said. He then repeated the same thing to Ned.

�I do.� he said.

�The rings please.� he said to Jax, who reached into his pocket and gave Sam the rings who held them flat in his hand.

�Alexis, take the ring and place it on Ned�s finger and say �I thee wed�� he said.

�I thee wed.� she repeated placing it on Ned�s hand , tears springing at her eyes.

Ned repeated the same thing.

�I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.� Sam said.

Ned and Alexis leaned in together and shared a sweet kiss.

Everyone clapped including Sam and his wife and started cheering as they started walking down the �aisle� arm in arm. Ned and Alexis were both smiling and probably as happy as they had been in a long time. They got to the end of the �aisle� and hugged.

�We�re finally married.� Alexis whispered in his ear.

�I love you so much.� he said.

�I love you more.� she said laughing and they kissed shortly once again. Then he showed Sam out the door and the six of them had some champagne to celebrate.

�Lexi?� Brooke asked tugging at Alexis� dress. She bent down to Brooke�s level.

�What is it honey?� she asked.

�I�m glad you married my daddy.� she said giving her a hug. Alexis unexpectedly hugged her back.

CHAPTER SIX

The next morning. Ned and Alexis are in bed. They are just starting to wake up. Ned wakes up and watches Alexis for a while before she stirs. Her eyes flutter open. She takes a moment to realize where she is and what happened.

�Good morning husband.� she says smiling at Ned, cuddling up against him as he puts his arm around her.

�Morning wife.� he says back. �God, you are so beautiful.� he says.

�Ned, stop!� she said swatting him playfully.

�I�ll be right back.� she said getting up and pulling her bathrobe on and going into the bathroom.

�Alrighty. �Don�t be too long.� he says as Alexis disappears into the bathroom.

Meanwhile, In Zander and Emily�s room they are both awake and just cuddling up against each other.

�Emily. I have something to ask you.� Zander says.

�Yeah, sure what is it?� Emily asks cuddling up next to him closely.

Zander sits up and faces Emily and she does the same.

�I love you so much. And I know we haven�t known each other that long. But I�ve known you long enough to know that I want to spend the rest of my life with you.�

�Me too.� Emily said starting to cry.

�Then marry me.� Zander said excitedly.

�What?! Marry you?� she asked.

�Just say yes.� Zander said and he reached into the bedside table drawer and pulled out a black velvet ring box and opened it to reveal a perfectly cut medium sized diamond with small clusters around the middle one.

�Oh gosh...Zander it�s beautiful.� Emily breathed breathlessly.

�Then say yes.� he said smiling.

�Okay. Yes...I�ll marry you.� she said smiling.

�Oh my god, we�re getting married!� she said jumping into his arms and kissing him and they both laughed.

Ned and Alexis� bathroom. Alexis had just finished throwing up in the toilet and flushed it and she is busy cleaning her face.

�Honey? Are you alright? You�ve been in there awhile.� Ned called from the other side of the door.

�Yeah, fine! I�ll just be a sec!� Alexis called.

�Oh god.� she said to herself. �What am I going to do?� she whispered then she splashed water on her face, dried it and walked back out to Ned.

�You okay?� he asked concerned.

�Never better hubby.� she said sitting on his lap.

Ned laughed.

�I think I�m going to go do some shopping.� she said to him.

�Shopping? Without me?� he asked teasing.

�Yeah, yeah. I think Em and I could just go out by ourselves.� she said going to get dressed.

A couple hours later�a local gift shop in town. Em and Alexis are shopping and talking. Em and Zander haven�t told anyone about their engagement...yet.

�So what is up with you Em? You have been smiling from ear to ear all day.� Alexis commented.

�Nothing.� Emily shrugged.

�Em, I may have only been your mom for a few weeks but I�ve known you for years. Something is up not what is it?� Alexis asked.

�Alright, alright, I surrendered. But you can�t tell anyone.� Emily said.

�Consider it done.� Alexis said listening.

�Zander proposed to me.� Emily whispered smiling.

�No!� Alexis said.

�Yes!� Emily correct.

�Oh my god! That�s so great!� Alexis said hugging her.

�Thanks. Just don�t tell anyone else yet.� She said.

�I won�t.� Alexis said smiling at her.

They continued on shopping. Alexis noticed the baby department and went over and fingered a pink dress. She closed her eyes and let her tears trickle down. She wiped them away with her hands.

�Hey Mom, do you think we could-� Emily stopped short when she saw her crying.

�Mom? What�s wrong?� Emily asked putting her hand on Alexis� shoulder and pulling her into a hug.

�Oh Em, I�m uh�I�m fine.� she said trying to pull herself together.

�No, it�s not. What�s wrong? Why are you looking at baby clothes?� she asked quietly.

�I think�I think I might be pregnant.� she said breaking down again.

�Oh my god, that�s great.� Emily said.

�What if�what if�I�m a horrible mom? I mean, I already was, I gave you up, I never had a mom�� she was cut off.

�Alexis , you have been like a mom to me, before I even knew you were, you took care of Kristina and you�re great with Brooke!� she said.

�You really think so?� she asked doubtfully.

�Yes. I love you. And so does Zander and Brooke and Kris.� she said . �But let�s not freak out yet. Come on, we�ll go get you a test.� she said.

Back at the suite, the boys have taken Brooke down to the beach and Kristina is taking a nap. Emily and Alexis come quietly into the house with a brown paper bag.

�Come on.� Emily said as she and Alexis slipped into Alexis� room.

�Now, go in the bathroom and take the test.� Emily said pulling it out of the bag and handing it to Alexis. Alexis, unable to say anything just nodded and disappeared into the bathroom.

Meanwhile, in Kristina�s room. She is laying in her bed, undressed, but covered up by the sheets. She stirs.

�Jax?� Kristina called out as she rolled over and her eyes fluttered open to find an empty space next to her but she smiled as she thought of last night. She then spotted an envelope on the beside table propped up against the lamp that simply said �Krissy� , Jax�s nickname for her, in his handwriting. She smiled and leaned over and took the letter. She opened it up and on a piece of pink stationary he had written.

Krissy-

I went with the guys to take Brooke down to the beach. Last night was great. I hope to do it again sometime. You�re a pretty amazing person.

She smiled and closed the letter back up. She got up to take a shower. Twenty minutes later, she came out of the bathroom in a pink bathrobe with a pink towel wrapped around her wet hair. She heard commotion coming from Ned and Alexis� room and thought she could detect Alexis and Emily having a conversation. She knocked on the door lightly and entered. She saw Emily talking to Alexis through the door.

�Come on Mom, you have to look at it!� Emily said through the door exasperated.

�No. I don�t want to.� she heard Alexis say stubbornly.

�Then I�ll look at it.� Emily replied.

�No, you can�t.� she retorted back through the closed bathroom door.

�What�s going on?� Kristina asked quietly coming up behind Emily and closing the bedroom door behind her in case the guys came back with Brooke.

�Alexis thinks she might be pregnant.� Emily whispered to her.

Kristina gasped. �Pregnant? That�s great!� she said quietly.

�Kristina?� Alexis asked through the door.

�Yes, it�s me. � she said.

Alexis creaked the door open and came out, tear stained face. Kristina embraced her in a hug.

�Did you look?� Emily asked after a moment.

�Yes.� Alexis replied.

�And?� Emily and Kristina prompted in unison.

Alexis just nodded her head with a slight smile and Kristina and Emily screeched and they all went in for a group hug.

�Why were you so late getting up?� Alexis questioned Kristina.

�Oh well I�I mean Jax and I�Well we were�� Kristina tried to explain.

�Uh-huh. I think I get the picture.� Alexis said as they all laughed. �Oh Em, tell her!� Alexis exclaimed.

�Tell me what?� Kristina asked.

�Zander and I are getting married!� Emily said smiling.

�Oh congrats!� Kristina said giving her niece a hug.

�Oh god, I have to tell Ned...how am I going to do that?� Alexis asked sinking down into the bed.

�He�ll love it!� Emily said.

�Yeah!� Kristina agreed. And they all smiled.

A couple hours later the guys are coming back from having been at the beach with Brooke all day.

�Honey, I�m home!� Ned calls as he walks in the door. All the guys laugh. Zander is holding Brooke Lynn.

Emily emerges from the bedroom.

�Oh, you look cute holding a baby.� she comments to Zander. He immediately hands him over to Jax. Then Kristina comes out.

�Aww, how cute. Jasper Jacks holding a baby.� she says. Jax immediately hands him to Ned and everyone laughs.

�Hey guys.� Alexis says coming out of the bedroom. She is wearing a white bathing suit. She has one of the lilies in her hair, which is still in curls, but up in a ponytail, and she is wearing a white skirt that ties at the side of the waist, that is sheer. She goes over to Ned and kisses him on the lips. Everyone �awws� and laughs. Alexis nods to Emily and Zander.

�Well we have some news.� Emily says as she links her arms with Zander. Alexis notices the boys are all eyeing Zander and wonders why. �Well at least for the guys� she continues.

�At least for the girls� Zander says.

�What- you mean you told them?� Emily asks.

�You told them?� Zander asks and they both nods and everyone laughs.

�Well I guess we had a gift of the magi thing going on there.� Emily laughs.

Then the couples all go their separate ways, aka, into the bedrooms.

Ned and Alexis� bedroom.

�Honey, I have something I have to tell you.� Alexis said pacing around as Ned sat on the edge of the bed removing his shoes.

�Sure, what is it wife?� he asked smiled fondly at Alexis.

�Well you remember the night we got back together?� she asked twiddling her thumbs.

�Very well. Alexis stop pacing. Come sit over here.� Ned said. Alexis goes and sits on Ned�s lap.

�What�s this all about sweetheart.� he asks.

�Well something happened that night.� she says.

�I know.� Ned says mischievously.

�No, something more.� Alexis says seriously.

�What�s that?� Ned says sensing the conversation take a serious tone.

�Honey, a year from now, there will be a new member of the family.� she says.

�What?! You�re not?! You are! Oh my god! Honey that�s wonderful!� Ned says hugging and kissing her.

�Yes I am. We�re pregnant.� she says as they hug.

�Oh gosh, this is the most wonderful thing that could ever happen to us.� he says.

�Ned, will I be a good mother? I mean, I haven�t really been a mother in years. Em�s all grown up now and...� she trailed off as Ned put his finger up to his lips to shush her.

�Lex, you�re great with Brooke Lynn, you helped your mom raise Kris and Em really looks up to you even now.� he says.

Alexis just nods, to emotional to say anything.

�So you do you want a girl or a boy?� he asks.

�If we have a girl we�re going to name her-� Alexis is cut off as Ned finishes her sentence.

�Kristin Lila. I know. From your dream. I love it. But that�s not what I asked.� he said smiling.

�As long as we don�t name her Jill.� she says a disgusted look on her face.

�Jill? Why not? What�s wrong with that?� Ned asks.

�I dunno. I never liked the name.� she says.

�Fine by me.� Ned said agreeing. (This is suppose to be a joke with JFP. *G)

�I want a girl.� she said smiling sweetly.

�Me too. I have a feeling we are going to get what we want.� he says as he kisses her and they fall back onto the bed.

Jax and Krissy�s room

�Jax, I have to ask you something about this letter.� she asks and they sit on the bed, propped up with their hands.

�Sure what is it Krissy?� he asks.

�At the end of the letter. You said Love, Jax. Did you really mean that?� she asks seriously looking into his eyes.

�Yeah. yeah I did. I�ve known you for almost a year now Kristina. And we have been friends for so long that yes I love you Krissy Cassadine.� he said smiling.

�Well that�s-that�s good. Because, I love you Jasper Jacks.� she said smiling.

Jax leans in and his lips crash onto hers into a passite kiss.

thirty minutes later. They are all lounging around the living room.

�Okay Alexis and I have an announcement.� Ned says.

�We know.� Jax, Krissy, Zander and Em all say. Ned and Alexis just laugh.

�You guys are squealers.� Alexis says glaring at her daughter and sister.

�So how about a celebration diner? Tonight? Around seven? For Ned and Alexis.� Jax suggests.
