-Chapter 23 Ned and Alexis house~ Ned has been released from the hospital and is sitting downstairs on the couch admiring the decor. Alexis is in the kitchen making sandwiches. Ned: (yelling across the house so Alexis can here him) Alexis sweetie I really love what you've done with the place. Alexis: (standing behind him) You know you don't have to yell I'm right here! (she walks over and sits down next to him) Ned: Sorry I thought you were still in the kitchen. The sandwiches look great who made them? Alexis: (she hits him with a pillow) I did! Ned: (laughing) Are they safe to eat? Alexis: Fine then, if you don't want them I'll eat um myself. (she starts to get up and he grabs her wrist) Ned: Where do you think you're going? (he takes the sandwich from her) I've decided to live dangerously (he takes a bit. Then grabs his throat and lays his head back) I.......I think.....I'm dying.... Alexis: Only if I kill you first. She takes her hands and places them on top of his. He pulls his hands out from under hers and wraps them around her waist pulling her down on top of him. Ned: You know I may not be able to walk but that doesn't mean I can't do other things. (he pulls her into a deep kiss) Alexis: Would your idea classify as filling your daily requirements for physical therapy? Ned: (seductively) works for me. Alexis: (smiling) Well I think I'm going to like this daily requirement. Ned: I know I will (he pulls her into another kiss) Jax: (walking through out the door and yelling) Hi Honey I'm home............ Scene II Alexis: (sitting up) Jax what are you doing here? Jax: (putting his bags down) Better question is what is he doing here? Alexis: He was released today (looking at Ned whose smiling) Didn't he tell you? Jax: No. Ned: I........ Alexis: Ned Ashton you told me you were going to call Jax and fill him in. Ned: I.........forgot. (looking at Alexis) Sue me. (Alexis gives him the evil eye) Alexis: (not thinking this is funny) Jax I'm so sorry. Jax: (sitting down and picking up a sandwich) Well no harm done.........so which room is mine? Ned and Alexis both stare at him like he's got a third eye or something. Jax: Well just because Ned's home doesn't change the situation......By the way this sandwich could really use some mustard.(getting up and walking towards the kitchen) Got any. (Ned and Alexis both watch him leave) Alexis: (turning to face Ned) This is all your fault! Ned: My fault, your the one that told him he could move in. Alexis: Yea but your the one who was suppose to call him. I'm going to bed you can sleep on the couch. Good luck. (she walks upstairs) Ned: (yelling) Alexis Davis this isn't fair you know I can't follow you. Alexis: (yelling from the top of the stairs) I know! Scene III A few minutes later Jax comes back into the room. Jax: Where'd Alexis run off to. Ned: (annoyed) Bed.............Damn it..... Jax: Problem? Ned: Yes if you must know I have to go to the bathroom. Jax: (laughing) Would you like some help? Ned: (yelling) Fat chance in hell! Jax: (laughing) I'll get Alexis. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 24 About a week has past and Ned's legs are getting stronger. He still can't walk but he's able to put light pressure on them and scuff along the furniture. After a long discussion Ned has allowed Jax to move in with them. Alexis' pregnancy is going along fine. Alexis is sitting in the living room at the table working with her lap top, Ned is in the other room with the physical therapist and Jax is in his room taking care of business matters of his own. There's a knock at the door...... Alexis: (closing her computer and walking over to the door) Coming. Sonny: Well good morning. Care for some coffee. (he hands her a bag) Alexis: Sonny what are you doing here? Sonny: May I come in? Alexis: You shouldn't be here. Sonny: Should I take that as a yes or no? Alexis: (frustrated) Come in. Sonny: (flashing his dimples) Thanks I never thought you'd ask. Alexis: Why are you here? Sonny: Well I need my lawyer..(he looks at her strangely) Alexis: What are you looking at? Sonny: Well you............I've never seen you dressed like this before...(she's wearing sweatpants and a baggie shirt. He hair is up in a ponytail) you look good dressed down. Alexis: (somewhat embarrassed by her attire) Thanks now if you don't mind I was in the middle of something and if you need an attorney call my office and make appointment. (she walks over and opens the door) Sonny: (taking off his jacket and sitting down) I have called your office but they keep telling me your at court Alexis: (sitting down in defeat) Fine I'll give you two minutes..(Sonny smiles) what do you need? Sonny: I need Larkin off my back. Alexis: Then may I suggest staying out of trouble! Sonny:(flashing his dimples) And just think I pay a lot for this advice. Alexis: More then most........now what is Larkin up to? Sonny: He planted drugs in my warehouse and had me kill Dulicca. Alexis; (standing up yelling) You kill Roy! Sonny: Larkin thinks I did but don't worry he's still alive. We're setting Larkin up for the fall of his life I just wanted to keep you inform so in case I get arrested you don't yell at me again. Alexis: (shaking her head) I hope you know what your doing? Scene II Sonny is just about to leave when Ned comes wheeling in. Ned: (annoyed by his presence) Corinthos what are you doing here? Sonny:(politely) I came to see my lawyer, I'm glad to see your out of the hospital. Ned: Alexis doesn't need to be involved with you in her condition. Stress isn't good for the baby and you Sonny Corinthos are to much stress for anyone. Sonny: (looking back at Alexis) Well congratulations I had no idea.......of course the baggie clothes should have been my first clue. Ned: Yea well nobody said you were swift, now get out! Alexis: Ned! Sonny: Don't worry about it Alexis. I was just on my way out anyway. I'll talk to you soon. Ned: Not if I have anything to say about it. (Sonny leaves) Alexis: There is no way you are going to dictate to me what clients I can and cannot have. Sonny: I'm sorry Alexis I just don't trust Sonny Corinthos. Jax: (coming down stairs) Well that's the most intelligent thing I've heard you say in days. Alexis: (annoyed) Nobody asked for your opinion. Jax: well I know when I'm not wanted so if you'll excuse me I'm late for a business meeting. Jax kisses the side of Alexis face before picking up his coat and leaving. Ned gives him a dirty look and then stares at Alexis. Alexis: What? Ned: Why must he kiss you every time he comes or goes? Alexis: (shaking her head and ignoring his last statement) Are you hungry? Ned: (scared of her answer) Are you cooking? Alexis: No I was going to order Pizza. Ned: well in that case I'm hungry. (she throws a pillow at him) Alexis: If I were you I'd be careful because the next time I throw something at you it might just be a little heavier. Ned: You're going to throw yourself at me? Alexis: (storming into the kitchen) I never! Ned: (laughing) oh yea then how'd you end up that way? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Chapter 25 A month has past and Alexis is almost eight months pregnant. Jax is still living with them and nobodies heard from Helena in about six weeks. Ned is getting stronger and can almost walk without support. Lois had just dropped Brooke off with Ned for the weekend. Ned is sitting on the couch reading a book to Brooke, when Alexis comes downstairs. Alexis: Well hello Brooke I didn't know you were here. (she kisses Ned good morning) Why didn't you call me when Lois got here. Ned: (pulling her down next to him) Well because you were still sleeping and I didn't want to wake you. (they kiss) Alexis: Thank you. (they kiss again) Jax: (coming out of the kitchen) Yuck please not in front of the child. (he picks Brooke up) Well hello Brooke, when did you get here? Brooke: Mommy dropped me off Jax: Really well I'm glad you came for a visit. (he puts her down) nobody told me you were coming. Ned: (smiling) Just because you live here Jax doesn't mean I have to keep you informed. Jax: (leaning down and kissing Alexis) Good morning my darling ex-wife. Ned: I think I'm going to be sick. (Alexis lends in to kiss him but he holds her back) please you want me to kiss you after he's kissed you. Alexis: (insulted) fine then the last taste I'll have on my lips our Jax' lips. (she gets up and walks into the kitchen) Ned: (yelling) hey wait get back here........(looking at Jax) why do you do that? Jax: Because I know how much it annoys you. (walking out the door) Bye. Ned sighs as Alexis walks out of the kitchen with a cup of coffee and hands it to Ned. Alexis: where did Jax go?( he grabs her and kisses her) Ned: he left. Alexis: darn it I wanted him to give me a ride to the office this morning.(she grabs her keys lends down and kisses him) maybe I can still catch him, I'll call you later. Ned: Alexis I don't like the fact that your due any day now and still working. Alexis:(opening the door) Ned I'm not due yet for another few weeks I'll be fine, love ya. Ned: what about Brooke your not going to leave me here with her by myself are you. Alexis: nice try Ashton but I know your well enough to take care of her on your own. I gotta go before Jax leaves, love ya. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Two hours later~ Ned: well Brooke what would you like to do now? Brooke: play dress up. Ned: dress up? Brooke: yep. Ned: okay dress up it is. so what do we do? Brooke: I'll show you (she grabs his hands and pulls him upstarts) Ned' Room~ Ned: Okay now what? Brooke walks into the bathroom and brings out a whole bunch of make-up and nail polish Ned: Sweetheart that's Alexis' stuff Brooke: I know but she's let me use it before. Alexis: well alright I guess so, besides it serves her right for leaving us here all by ourselves. (the door bell rings) I be right back don't go anywhere. Brooke: okay daddy. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ned (answering the door) What the hell do you want, I was kinda hoping some one killed you by now. Helena: (walking in past him) Ned as always it's a pleasure. Ned: Alexis isn't here so you can't torment her. Helena: I know darling she's at work, besides I came here to see you. So how's your little girl doing? Brooke I believe she told me her name was. Ned: you keep my daughter out of this. Helena: you know she really does look a lot like you. Ned: (yelling) when have you ever seen my daughter? Helena: what Alexis didn't tell you about me running into her and Brooke at the hospital......why should I be surprised, after all she does have a bad habit of keeping things from you doesn't she. Ned: get out. Helena: I don't suppose she told you about the poor brakes on your car then? Ned: what are you talking about? Helena: your supposed accident that wasn't an accident. (Ned is shocked) I heard they had a witness who said they saw me near your car at the time. Unfortunately thus individual is no longer with us. I heard he died of a heart attack, and at such a young age. Ned: I've heard enough now get out! Helena: Fine I'll leave but I just wanted to reassure you that I had nothing to do with whomever wanted you dead. Helena leaves and Ned walks over and picks up the phone. Alexis: Alexis Davis. Ned: (yelling) Ned Ashton I want you home now! Alexis: is something the matter? Ned: (stern) Just come home now! Alexis: Fine I'll have Nikolas bring me home. Ned: Make it quick! (he hung up) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Half hour later~ Alexis: (coming in) Ned Honey what's wrong? Ned:(calmly) Helena was here. Alexis: (shocked) when? Ned: Just before I called you. Alexis: what did she want? Ned:(yelling) to fill me in a couple of things that you should have. (she just stars at him) Oh come on Alexis say something anything. Alexis: What did she say? Ned: no way your not getting out of this one that easily.......(he walks over to her and grabs her hand forcing her to sit on the couch) I want to know what it is you've been keeping from me. Alexis: (taking a deep breath) okay.....Helena was responsible for your car accident. Ned: and? Alexis: I didn't tell you because you were in the hospital and because it's all my fault. Ned: Your fault? Alexis: Yes my fault.........she wants you dead because she knows it's the only thing that would truly kill me. Ned: why didn't you tell me? Alexis: because you were sick and........ Ned: and you didn't want me to worry about you. Alexis: partially. Ned: okay what about Brooke? Why didn't you tell me Helena made contact with her? Alexis: (she begins to cry) Because that was my fault as well.....I should have never fallen asleep and left Brooke in her room to play. I had no intention of falling a sleep I was just tried and...... Ned:(shocked) Wait she was here? Alexis: I thought she told you. Ned: she told me see saw Brooke in the hospital. Alexis: she did but she was also here. Ned: she didn't hurt either of you did she? Alexis: no she had one of her men play ball with Brooke in the yard. Basically to show me how bad of a mother I was going to be.(crying uncontrollable) I'm sorry Ned really I am I never meant to keep this from you it's just I didn't want you to worry about me when you need to take care of yourself. Ned: (holding her tight) It's okay Honey I'm not mad at you I just want you to tell me everything from now on. Helena is dangerous and if she comes near you or Brooke or this baby after it's born I want to know. Alexis: I'll tell you Ned I promise I really am sorry, I just didn't want you to worry about me. Ned: (taking her face in his hands) Sweetheart don't you know I also worry about you. (they kiss deeply) Brooke: (coming downstairs) Daddy daddy I thought you were coming back upstairs to play with me. Ned and Alexis both look up at Brooke who is covered in makeup. It's all over her face, arms, legs and dress. She's wearing a pair of Alexis' high heel shoes and has Ned' tie wrapped around her neck. She caring her baby doll in her hands which is covered in nail polish. She also has one of Alexis' handbags flung over her right shoulder. Alexis: (laughing)Maybe you were right Ned: (looking at her like she's crazy) about what? Alexis: Maybe I shouldn't have left you and Brooke alone. (they laugh as Alexis gets up and takes Brooke' hand) Come on you lets go see what my room looks like. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 25b Ned is almost completely healed except for some occasional spasms in his right leg. Alexis is about eight months pregnant. ~L&B Studios~ Ned: (on the phone) Did you take care of everything like I asked you to? Jax: (on the other end) don't worry about it everything is fine. Ned: Good because everything needs to be prefect. (Alexis walks in but Ned doesn't see her) So don't screw anything up. Alexis: (placing her arms around him) screw up what? Ned:(jumps slightly) I gotta go keep in touch. (he hangs up and turns around in her arms) What are you doing here, I thought you were planning on staying home today? Alexis: (her lips to his) There wasn't anyone there to keep me warm. (they kiss) Ned: Come on I'm taking you home. Alexis: No your not besides I have work to do. (she walks over and picks up a file) and so do you. Ned: (annoyed) Alexis your due any time now and you should be taking it easy. Alexis: Ned I still have a few weeks left to go and it's not like I'm running a marathon I'm just going over some paperwork. Ned: what ever! (he walks over to her and pulls her down on to the couch to sit with him) Listen this weekend you and I are going to Jerry's cabin. (she starts to say something but he kisses her) I've already talked to Jax and he said that we can use it. So we are going, weather you like it or not. Alexis: Ned you know I'd love to go away with you but it's just that...... Ned: It's just nothing, we are going and that is all there is to it.(the phone rings) Alexis: L&B entertainment. Sonny: I need you! Alexis: (getting up) Now really isn't a good time. Sonny: Not for me either I'm handcuffed to a chair. Alexis: (annoyed) Great.........(she sighs) well you know the drill Alexis & Sonny: Don't say anything till I get there. Alexis just shakes her hand and slightly laughs. Ned on the other hand is very annoyed. She hangs up the phone. Alexis: I've gotta go.(she kisses him) I'll see you back at the house in time for dinner. Ned: (grabbing her wrist) I don't like the fact that you are traveling across town eight months pregnant to go bailout a mobster. Alexis: Ned I'll be fine........I'll see you at dinner. Ned: Did everything work out as planned. Emily: Yes! Ned: You didn't have any problems with anything? Emily: No stop worrying will ya. Ned: I can't help it. Emily: It's not like you haven't done this before. Ned: Not by myself I haven't. Ned hangs up the phone and starts pacing the floor when Chloe walks in. Chloe: you know you keep this up and Alexis is going to start to get suspicious. Ned: Thank God your here........you did finish it didn't you? Chloe: Yes I did you need to calm down. Ned: I know I just want everything...... Jax: (walking in) to be perfect. Ned: (yelling) I thought you were suppose to be out at the cabin making sure everything is in order. Jax: Ashton you really need to chill out. I'm on my way out there now, but I thought you might want this. (he hands Ned a small jewelry box) The jeweler called the house and said it was ready. Ned:Thanks I can't believe I forgot all about it. Chloe: Ya well, I don't think the day will be prefect without it. Jax: By the way where is Alexis I thought she'd be here? Ned: She went down to the station to bail out your favorite person. Jax: I don't know why she just doesn't leave him in there to rot. Chloe: Jax, that's not very nice. Ned: Maybe not but it's true. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ PCPD Sonny:(smiling) Well hello there consular your looking mighty fine this evening. Alexis: (annoyed) Cut the crap Corinthos and just tell me what the charges are this time. Taggert: (walking in) Your client Ms Davis is being charged with attempted murder. Alexis: (throwing her arms in the air) Of whom. Sonny: Of one of my workers at the coffee warehouse. (Alexis looks at him cross-eyed) There was an accident. Taggert: Or so your client says. Sonny: one of the beams holding the upper shelf gave way and fall hospitalizing one of my men. Taggert: He was trapped under...... Alexis: (really annoyed) Excuse me but do you have any proof that my client had anything to do with the accident? Taggert: Well he does own the warehouse and he was standing next to the beam that supposedly gave way. Alexis: Oh come on Taggert that's lame even for you.......now you either let my client go or I'll have you up on harassment charges so fast it will make your head spin. Dara: (walking in & giving Alexis a dirty look) Mr Corinthos your free to go. Alexis:Thank you and I'd appreciate it if the next time you haul my client in, you have something other then where he was standing to place him with a crime. Dara: Oh don't worry we will. Sonny And Alexis leave the room. Alexis: What are you looking at? Sonny: Wow your just so pregnant. Alexis: and your just so................. annoying. (she leaves and he laughs) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 26 Ned is sitting in the living room talking on the phone when Alexis walks in. She throws her purse down on the table and sits down next to him on the couch. Ned:Okay that will be fine, call me if there's any problems. (he hangs up) Alexis:(cuddling up to Ned) Who was that? Ned: (playing with her hair & lying) nobody.....Where have you been? Dinner got here a half hour ago. Alexis: (sitting up and rubbing her neck) I'm sorry. Taggert was just stalling trying to be his annoying self. Ned:(rubbing Alexis' shoulders) You know stress isn't good for the baby. Alexis:I know and you worry way to much about me. Ned: Only because I love you. (he kisses her neck which makes her coo) Alexis: Is Jax home? Ned:(placing his hands on her bare stomach & driving her crazy with his kisses) Nope it's just you and me tonight. Alexis: (relaxing further into him & cooing some more) So he won't be coming home? Ned: (while biting her ear) Nope. (lying) he has a business meeting in New York. (he lays her back onto the couch) I always wondered what it would be like to make love to a woman who was eight months pregnant. (he lends down and kisses her) Alexis: (her lips still on his) Probably not much different then a seven month pregnant woman. Ned: Well I guess we'll just have to find out. Alexis: I'm game. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The next morning. Alexis comes down stairs to find Ned sitting at his desk, still in his pj's on the phone. She looks at him funny before walking into the kitchen to get a cup of coffee. Ned:We'll be there 3 o'clock sharp. Make sure everything is ready. Jax: Everything on my end is taken care of you just make sure your not late. Alexis walks back into the room and heads up the stairs. Ned places his hand on the receiver. Ned: (to Alexis) Where are you going? Alexis: I thought you were busy. Ned: I'll be off in a second (motioning to the couch) come sit down. (she does) Ned: (to Jax) Don't worry about me I know what I'm doing. Jax;(laughing) Yea but does Alexis. Ned hangs up on him and kisses Alexis on the forehead before sitting down next to her. Ned: how is my lovely fianc�e feeling this morning. Alexis: Pregnant. Ned:(laughing) besides that........did you sleep good last night. Alexis: I always sleep good when I'm in your arms. (they kiss) Who were you talking to? Ned: Nobody important. (he kisses her & then starts chewing on her neck) So how does breakfast sound? Alexis: You know you always do that? Ned: (still kissing her) I thought you liked it? Alexis: Not that. Ned: then what? Alexis: (pulling away) you always kiss me and try to drive me crazy when you don't want to answer my questions. Ned: (pulling her into a deep kiss) I do not. Alexis: (getting up and walking towards the kitchen) Yea right. (Ned laughs) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Kitchen~ Ned: (walking in) So what are you going to make for breakfast? Alexis: I was under the impression that you liked this kitchen? Ned:(walking over and placing his arms around her) I do and that is why I'm taking you out to breakfast. (they kiss) so up upstairs and get dressed. Alexis: (giving him a weird look) Are you planning on going dressed like that? Ned: No I'll be right up. I have to make a few calls and make sure L&B is still in the black. She smiles at him seductively and he slaps her on the butt. They kiss once again before she turns and walks out of the room. Ned watches her leave and then picks up the phone on the wall. Ned: Yea will be out of here in about 20 minutes. I'm taking Alexis to breakfast make sure the box is on the bed before we get back. (he hangs up and smiles) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ PC Grill. Ned holds the chair for Alexis and they sit down. The hostess gives them menus but Ned hands them back to her and tells her they just have two of the house specials. Alexis: (shocked) I didn't know they had a house special for breakfast? Ned: They do when you own the hotel and tell them your coming. Alexis: So you ordered ahead? Ned: Something like that. Alexis: My my Mr Ashton aren't we full of surprises. Edward: (walking over and sitting down) Well that's Ned for ya, he's always full of something. Ned: (annoyed) I don't recall anyone inviting you to have breakfast with us. Edward: (ignoring him) So I hear L&B is back in business. How long do you think it will last? Ned: Grandfather if you don't mind Alexis and I came here to enjoy a nice quiet breakfast. Edward: (looking at Alexis) So how are you feeling my dear? Alexis: (half smiling) Fine thank you. Edward; (looking at Ned) Well you've finally done it this time haven't you. I mean really Ned did you have to go and get the woman pregnant? Ned: (annoyed) Grandfather that's enough. (getting up) It's a perfectly lovely day and I am not going to let you ruin it. (he pulls Edwards chair out) Now leave before I call Grandmother and tell her how rude you are being to the mother of my child. (Edward starts to say something) Who also happens to be her great grandchild. Edward: (getting up) Fine but if you wanted to eat somewhere quietly you shouldn't of come here. (he leaves) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Chapter 27 Ned and Alexis return home from the Grill. Alexis: I think I eat way to much. Ned:No way besides your eating for two now. Alexis: (sitting on the couch) Yea but still. Ned sits down next to her and lifts her shirt. Alexis: Sorry Ned but I'm really not in the mood. Ned looks up at her for a brief moment and then places his head on her stomach, so that he can still she her face. Ned:Hey there little one I think your mom has a one track mind. (Alexis glares at him) Alexis: No it's just that I know your daddy does. Ned: I think that's one of the reason she fell in love with me. Alexis: (smiling) one. Ned: (talking to her stomach) I can't wait till the day you're born. It's going to be one of the happiest days of my life. (Alexis just stares into his eyes) Of course the day I meet your mommy was probably the best day. Alexis; Um if I do recall you were still married at the time. Ned: Yea but it was still the best day because meeting you changed my entire life. she runs her fingers through his hair as he interlocks his left hand with her right. Alexis: I love you. Ned: (getting up and kissing her) I love you too. (pulling Alexis up) Come on what do you say we take a short nap. Alexis: See you do have a one track mind. Ned laughs and wraps his arms around Alexis' waist and walks her upstairs. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Bedroom~ Ned and Alexis walk in kissing things start to heat up but he pulls away. Alexis: (confused) Is something wrong? Ned: (looking her in the eyes) Nope everything is perfect. he looks over at the bed as her eyes follow his. She's stunned to see a large wrapped clothing box on the bed. Alexis: What did you do? Ned; Open it. She walks over to the bed pulling him with her, and begins to open the box. Alexis; Oh my it's gorgeous. Ned: Oh no your gorgeous. Alexis blushes as she pulls it out of the box. It's a long white gown with sequence all in the right places. Its gorgeous yet moderately tasful for a woman with child. Alexis: I love this. Ned: I love you. (she lends down and kisses him) try it on. Alexis; What? Ned: You heard me try it on, I want to make sure it fits. Alexis: Why? Ned: Listen either you put it on yourself or I'm going to put it on you. Alexis: Sounds like fun. And as if on cue Ned walks up and starts to unbutton Alexis' blouse. Alexis: Oh no fair Mr Ashton if your going to undress me (she pulls his shirt out of his pants) I get to undress you. Ned laughs and Alexis pulls him into a deep passionate kiss. He pushes her blouse off her shoulders and begins to undue her bra, while her hands roam down to his butt and she squeezes his cheeks. Ned slow and carefully lies her back on to the bed and pulls her skirt off of her. She lends up and pulls her down on top of her after he discards his pants. He pulls his body back placing all his weight onto his arms, so as to not put much pressure on her, as he slips inside of her and makes her moan. They get lost in each other as Ned losses all track of time. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ned is starting to slowly open his eyes and focuses on a sleeping Alexis. He absentmindedly plays with her hair before rolling over and looking at the clock. Ned suddenly jumps up as he realizes that he has fallen a sleep. Ned: Alexis sweetie it's time to get up. Alexis: (rolling over) 5 more minutes Ned; No sweetie we need to get up now. Alexis: Okay I'm coming. Ned: (lifting her up) Alexis come on Honey you need to wake up. Alexis: Okay Okay I'm awake but why? Ned: Because we have lunch plans. Alexis: (confused) You're making me get up for lunch.(she looks at the clock) God Ned it's 2 o'clock we've already missed lunch. (she lays back down) Ned; (pulling her up) I'm sorry did I say lunch I meant dinner. Alexis; (looking at him) Dinner Ned: Yea dinner (he pulls her to her feet) Now go put your new dress on because I have something special in mind. Alexis; (still half a sleep) You want me to wear the gown you bought me? Have you lost your mind? Ned: Yes and yes. Alexis: Well what are you going to wear...... a tux? Ned: That's exactly what I plan on wearing. Alexis; Okay fine I'll play your little game. (she picks up her dress and heads to the bathroom) Ned: And make it quick I don't want to be late. Alexis: (yelling from the bathroom) Now your just pushing your luck mister. Ned laughs and then picks up the phone to call Jax. Jax: Hello Ned: Hey Jax we need to push everything back an hour. Jax; What are you crazy, your guest are already here? Ned: Yea well Alexis is in the bathroom getting dressed Jax: What, you mean your still home? Ned: Why do you think I need everything pushed back an hour. (he hangs up and throws his head back) Why on earth did I fall asleep? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 28 Back of the Limo~ Alexis: I can't believe you hired a limo just to take us out to dinner? Ned; (leaning over and kissing her) Well nothing is to good for you. Alexis: So where are we going? Ned: It's a surprise. The drive for about an hour before the car stops. Alexis: (shocked) What are we doing at Jerry's cabin? I thought we weren't coming here till tomorrow night? Ned: I told you it's a surprise. They get out of the limo and walk out into the backyard. Everyone: Surprise. Alexis looks completely shocked. Jax, Chloe, Nik, Emily, Liz, Juan, Bobbie ,Roy, Sonny, Lucky, Lady Jane, John, Lila, Alan, & Monica are all there dressed in evening gowns and tuxedos. There are benches sprawled across the lawn with flowers decorating them. There's a minister standing in front of the benches surrounded by flowers and lighted candles. Ned:So Miss Davis are you ready to walk down the aisle and become Mrs.Edward Ashton? Alexis: (crying) Ned I ......... Ned: (looking deep into her eyes) I know your scared but it's now or never. Alexis sighs and takes a deep breath. She turns from Ned and looks out at everyone as the tears in her eyes become even stronger. Alexis: Ned Ashton I can't believe you did this. Ned;(taking both of her hands in his) Well believe it because I did it. I have never wanted anything more in my life then to make you my wife. Sometimes I'd like to kick myself for not doing this sooner. I would have told you about this, but I know the idea of marriage terrifies you. Heck it even scares the hell out of me, but we are never going to get over that fear. So I say let's just jump right in and say I do right now. He looks at her a moment as she tries to process what he is saying. Alexis:What if we screw this up? Ned:Then we screw it up together.....(he kisses her) and then we fix it............ (he kisses her again) together. So what do you say consular are you going to make me the happiest man alive and marry me or what? Alexis; Ned I'm scared. Ned: so we'll be scared together......you told me once that there was a whole new world waiting for us out there and that we'd discover it together..........so lets discover marriage together. Alexis: I love you. Ned: (hopeful) Is that a yes? Alexis: Yes that's a yes I'll marry you right here and now. Ned picks Alexis up and holds her tight. Jax: Well since there is going to be a wedding I suggest we get things started. Chloe: Here you'll be needing this. (she hands her a bouquet of flowers) Emily: Wait she needs something old something new something borrowed and something blue. Nik: Well I have something old. ( he hands her a Cassidine pin). Alexis: Nikolas thanks you so much, this means everything to me. Nik: Yeah well your as much a Cassidine as I am and I wanted you to have something that's been in our family for ages. Alexis pulls Nik into a big hug and kisses him while whispering in his ear "I love you". Nik: I love you too and Ned you better take good care of her or you'll have the Cassidines to deal with. Jax: Oh no not the Cassididne I wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy.....heck I wouldn't even wish them on Ashton. Ned: (laughing and holding Alexis tight) Don't worry Nikolas I wouldn't dream of doing anything to hurt Alexis, and I plan on taking really good care of her and our child. Jax: Which if we don't get things going here soon will be born before the "I do's". LadyJane: Now jax mind your manners. (she looks at Alexis) Sweetheart I have something borrowed. (she hands her a gold braclet) It belonged to my Mother, my Father gave it to her own her wedding day and then I wore it on mine. I still think of you as my daughter so I'd love it if you wore it on your wedding day. Alexis: (crying) Oh Lady Jane I'd be honored. Jax: Oh sure leave it to my mother to get the bride to be crying again. Alexis: You know Jax your starting to become a real pain in the neck. Ned: She's being kind I was thinking a little lower. Jax: Well that's because you always think a little lower then me Ashton. Chloe: Okay enough with the bad mouthing. I do believe this belongs to you. Alexis; My blue garder. Chloe; Yea and I still want to know what happened in LA. Ned: (grinning) Oh yes LA. Juan:Now all we need is something new. Ned: (pulling a box out of his pocket) I can take care of that. Alexis takes the box and pulls out a pair of diamond earrings. Alexis: Ned you shouldn't of. Ned: no but I wanted to. (they kiss) Emily: Here let me help you put those in. Nik: May I have the honor of walking you down the aisle? Alexis: (crying) I'd love that. |
