Alexis had her feel of Sonny Coronthois, the incident with Zander Smith was the last straw. The confrontation with AJ Quartermaine in the parking garage she had let slide due to the fact that the animosity between these two men and the fact it involved Sonny's little sister was something they needed to deal with, Alexis knew that AJ was up to know good and she wasn't sure what it was but that was Sonny's problem. But coming down on Zander Smith for being honest with Sonny's ex-wife Carly and telling her that Sonny had hired him to keep a eye on her was just to much. Sonny had fired him just for being honest, and his reasons were always the same, Sonny's sense of betrayal, it never matters rather it is right or wrong morally, the only thing that matters is if Sonny thinks its right or wrong. Well Alexis was tired of Sonny's superior attitude, he accused her of betrayal earlier in the week and she was still surprised he had let it slide. Alexis entered the penthouse and slammed the door, she was fuming, The sound of her sister Kristina's voice made her jump. WOW! What did he do now? What did who do? Alexis snapped Sonny who else. Kristina answered I don't want to talk about it. Alexis told her as she headed toward the stairs, Alexis went upstairs to her room and grabbed a suitcase and started throwing things into it. Where are you going? Kristina asked as she entered the room. "Kristina" Alexis said startled I need to get away for a couple of days to think, I've lost my focus the last few weeks and I need to get it back, so I decided to take a few days off and try to get my life back in order, came Alexis reply as she continued to pack. Where are you going? Kristina asked as she walked over and sat on Alexis bed watching her sister. There's this little inn outside of town Alexis began to smile as she remembered the last time she was there It was a place where I left all my cares behind and became a teenager again, didn�t have any problems or worries. Sounds nice. Kristina told her as she smiled at how happy the memory had made Alexis "You want some company" she asked laughing "just kidding" she said as she saw the look on Alexis face and left the room. Alexis picked up the phone and asked information for number of the Inn she and Ned Ashton had stayed in during the height of the Eddies Angel fiasco. After getting the number she called the Inn and booked a room for the next couple of days, she smiled to herself as she rembered the time she spent there, checking to make sure she had everything she needed Alexis picked up her suitcase and headed downstairs. Hey! are you going to be able to be reached where your going? Kristina asked a little worried, as she saw Alexis coming down the stairs. I'll have my cell phone, but only call me if it's a emergency, and nobody is to know where I've gone. Alexis replied as she was putting on her coat, "I really need this, it will be good for me." she said as a look of sadness came over her face. The look wasn't lost on Kristina and she started to become a little worried, she knew her sisters emotions had been all over lately and Sonny had did or said something that had hurt her and she was worried because she knew that sooner or later Alexis was going to reach her breaking point, and Kristina prayed that she wasn't alone when she did. Kristina was brought out of her thought by a knock on the door. Alexis was just reaching for the door when the knock came, as she opened the door she came face to face with Sonny. What do you want Sonny? she asked as he pushed his way into her penthouse angrily. We need to talk! he told her trying to keep his voice calm. They had a fight earlier and she had stormed out if his apartment. It will have to wait, I'm on my way out and I'll be gone for a few days she told him as reached down to pick up her suitcase. This wont wait. Sonny growled as he grabbed her wrist stopping her. Let go of me Sonny Alexis said in a low voice "I told you I'm leaving and I have nothing more to say to you" she replied in that same low voice as she pulled out of his grip, you could see the anger in her eyes. From what Kristina told me we have a lot to talk about like the fact that your in love with me. he replied as his hand dropped to his side. I don�t know where Kristina got her information, I have never said I was in love with you, and for both your information, I have only loved three men in my life, the first being Stephan, the second is Nicholas and the only other one was Ned Ashton, the only feeling I had for you Sonny was one of friendship, but at this time I'm not even sure if I want you as my friend, but that could and probably will change but right now I need to work through a few things, so I'm leaving. And Sonny, I don�t want to be followed or called. she had maintained that low even voice. And as for you I'll talk to you later. and with that Alexis reached down grabbed her suitcase and walked out the still opened door, leaving Sonny and Kristina standing in a stunned silence. It took a few moments for Sonny to recover, and as he entered the hallway he saw the elevator doors closing. Is everything OK boss? Johnny asked as Sonny walked pass him toward his door. Everything is fine, Ms Davis is going out of town for a few days, but her sister will be here so still keep a eye on the place. and with that said Sonny went inside and closed his door. Kristina started to panic Alexis seemed to calm she hadn't expected for Sonny to show up and then to say something about their conversation about Alexis feelings she hadn�t expected to blurt out that Alexis was in love with him, she had only said it to get Sonny to treat her sister better, the only problem was is Alexis had never said she was in love with Sonny, in fact she had always denied it saying they were only friend. But Kristina had convinced herself that she knew Alexis better then she did and that she was in denial. It never occurred to her that Alexis was still in love with her ex-fianc�e Ned Ashton. Kristina had been seeing Ned lately and had asked Alexis if it bothered her that they were talking about dating and she had always said it was OK as long as it made Kristina happy, She felt that Ned had moved on and if the two of them dating made them happy then she would step aside. The problem was that when Kristina thought about it Alexis never said she was OK with it and that she was over Ned, She only wanted Kristina to be happy. Kristina grabbed the phone and dialed a fimilar number Hey Ned it's Kristina can you come over? I really need to talk to you, its important. she let out a sigh of relief as she hung up the phone. |
