Later on that day a very tired Ned and Alexis entered the studio of L&B.

�I really think it would have been better if you would have let me take you home.�

Ned I�m fine.� She stopped turned and kissed his cheek. �And i really didn�t feel like spending the night alone.�

He walked her over to the couch, helped her off with her jacket and then helped her onto the couch. �I told you I wasn�t going to be here long.�

�Then why are we arguing?�

�I wasn�t aware we were.� He replied back as he took off his jacket and started going through the mail.

�You know Mr. Ashton it�s been an awful long time since we�ve christened this place.�

�I have work to do.�

�Why can�t you do both?� She asked very seductively.

He looked over at her �Because if we did the one I wouldn�t want to stop and do the other.�

�All the more better.�

Ned dropped the mail on the table and sat down next to her. �I�d love to know what�s gotten into you.�

She grabbed a hold of his tie and pulled him close. �I think it would be more interesting to find out what got into.............� She ended as she whispered in his ear.

�Sounds promising.�

She placed her lips upon his. �Why don�t we find out.�

~Emily�s hospital room~

�You just missed the doctor.� Emily said as Nik walked in. �He gave both of us a clean bill of health and said we can be go back to Port Charles first thing tomorrow morning.�

�What, I thought the baby was too small to leave the hospital? Last I knew they wanted to keep an eye on him for a few days........�

�Claim down.� She said cutting him off. �We�re being moved to general Hospital, my mom worked everything out.�

He kissed his sleeping son on the forehead and sat next to Emily on the bed. �How did things with your parents go?�

�Mom was great you should have seen her with her grandson.�

�I�m sorry I missed it.�

�And dad ..... well dad couldn�t help but be happy for me when mom placed his grandson in his arms.�

�I saw them leaving earlier but didn�t notice your grandfather with them.�

�He was going to come up with them, but mom and dad told grandmother about the baby before they left, and well let�s just say he had a change of heart.�

�Thank god for your grandmother.�

�You can say that again.�

~L&B Studio~

�Remind me never to argue with you again.� Ned said as stood up and began buckling his pants.

Alexis looked at him seductively as she watched him dress himself.

�Better yet remind me to do it more often.� He laughed as he bent down and over took her mouth with his.

�I liked the way you looked better before you buckled your pants.�

�Sweetheart if I don�t any work done now we�ll be here all night.�

She started biting his neck. �Well you don�t see me complaining.�

�You�re not making this easy.�

�Then stop fighting it and take those damn pants back off.�

�I think I liked you better when you thought you were to fat to be loved.�

She bit his ear. �Liar�

�The heck with work.� He yelled before attacking her neck with tiny little bites.�

�I love it when you do that.�

�Edward Lawrence Ashton?� An officer said as he barged into the studio along with two other officers.

Alexis quickly grabbed Ned�s jacket and covered herself.

�Can I help you with something?� Ned asked as he threw on his shirt

�Are you Edward Lawrence Ashton?�

�Yes I am.�

�Mr. Ashton you�re under arrest.� The officer said as he pulled out his handcuffs. �Place your hands behind your back.�

�What the hell is going on here?� Alexis demanded to know.

�This doesn�t concern you miss.� The officer replied

�This man happens to be my husband and more importantly I happen to be his lawyer.� Alexis was outraged as the officer began reading Ned his rights. �What are you charging him with?�

�Money laundering!�

�What?� Both Ned and Alexis yelled as Ned was being hauled out of the building.

�Don�t worry honey I�m right behind you.�

Alexis waited for the officers to leave and then began getting dressed. �Damn this can�t be happening.� She tired to get dressed as fast as she could. �How can they suspect Ned of all people of money laundering?�

�Maybe because they knew something you didn�t know.� Stefan said as he walked in. �Or worse yet maybe you did know and chose the wrong door.�

�What on earth are you mumbling about?�

�I�ve given what happened a lot of thought and I�ve come to the only conclusion I could come to.�

�Stefan I really don�t have time for your mind games Ned was just arrested and I have to go.�

�Tell me why Alexis?� He asked as he grabbed her arm while she passed by him.

�Why what Stefan?� She looked down at her arm. �Stefan you�re hurting me.�

�Why did you go against me?�

�Stefan please let go of me.�

He grabbed her arm tighter. �You and you�re husband will pay for what you did to me.�

�I have no idea what you�re talking about.� She replied with tears running down her face.

�The two of you tried to steal what�s rightfully Nikolas�s and I won�t let you get away with it.�

�I had no idea what Ned was up to?�

�All this time I thought you were working with me to save our family name and all along you were working against me.�

�No I wasn�t!� She yelled as the tears screamed down her face faster and harder. �Please let go of me!�

�You are going to get exactly what you deserve.� He yelled extremely loud as he let his grip on her loosen and she pulled backwards, luckily falling back onto the couch.

�Oh my god you did this to him didn�t you?� She yelled as she placed her hand on her stomach.

�All�s fair in love and war Alexis.�

�Get out of here.........get the hell out of here.� She screamed out partially from the anger she felt and partially from the pain she felt in her side.

�You disgust me.� He simply stated before turning and walking away.

�OH god why does it hurt so bad?� She yelled as she slowly fell off the couch hitting her knees to the floor. �This so can�t be happening...........not now......please not now!� She laid her head on the couch and tried to catch her breath in between the tears. �NED.....oh please NED I so need you.�

PCPD

�NO!� Ned yelled as the officer pushed him back into a chair.

�That�s what they all say.�

�No you don�t understand something�s wrong, I can feel it.� Ned yelled. �Where�s Mac I need to see the police commissioner right away.�

�Sorry but no dice. Commissioner Scorpio is out of town until next Wednesday.�

�Something�s wrong with my wife........ I know it.�

�Mr. Ashton we just left your wife and she was fine. So just sit down and shut up.�

�NO she isn�t I know it!� He yelled even louder.

�What is going on out here?� Dara asked as she walked out of one of the interrogation rooms.

�Dara thank goodness you�re here, something�s wrong with Alexis.�

�Why is this man in handcuffs?� Dara asked.

�He�s being charged with money laundering.�

�Money laundering?� Dara asked confusingly.

�Dara please Alexis needs me I know she does.� Ned pleaded.

Dara basically ignored Ned�s plea. �Where did this orders come from?�

�I have the warrant for his arrest right here.�

Dara took the order from the officer and looked it over.

�Dara please if you can�t help me just help Alexis.� Ned began to panic. �At least send an officer over to L&B and make sure she�s okay.�

�This warrant isn�t even signed!� Dara yelled. �Didn�t you even look at it?�

�I was handed the warrant and told to arrest Mr. Ashton.�

�Next time maybe you should read it first.� Dara yelled. �Now unhand cuff this man and let him go.�

�Dara listen to me.� Ned yelled. �Something�s wrong with Alexis I need a ride back to L&B.�

Dara looked over at the arresting officer. �You arrested the man, you take him back from where you got him.�
