Chapter 3

~ L&B Studios ~ One Week Later ~

�There you are, I�ve been looking all over for you.� Ned said as he walked up to Alexis and kissed the top of her head.

Alexis was sitting at the table working on her laptop. She continued typing as she replied. �You couldn�t have looked to hard, I�ve been here most of the day.�

�Really.� Ned said as he took a seat next to her. �I called here a couple of hours ago and Juan said you weren�t in.�

Alexis never looked up at him as she continued to type. �I don�t recall even seeing Juan. Nikolas and Emily were here earlier with Liz and Lucky but they just left a few seconds ago to get lunch.�

�It doesn�t matter anyway. I found you and that�s all that counts.�

�Do you need help with a legal matter?�

�Nope with a personally one.�

Alexis looked up at him for the first time since he walked in. �What you�re here to tell me that you found a young, hot, sexy, unintelligent, half naked groupie and your running away with her.�

Ned thought for a moment as Alexis punched him in the arm.

�No you�re the only hot, sexy, half naked groupie I�m interested in. By the way you know that Teddy of yours.�

�What about it?�

Ned lends forward and whispers in her ear. �Do you have it in any other colors?�

Alexis gives him an evil look as he bites her neck. �Will you stop doing that already?�

Ned looks at her and pouts. �You really want me to stop?�

Alexis can�t help but laugh at him as he blinks his eyes at her. �Why don�t you just tell me why it is you�ve been running around town looking for me?�

�Yes!� Ned yells excitedly. �I need your opinion.�

Alexis closes her laptop and looks over her glasses at him. �On what?�

Ned drops a whole bunch of cards on the table. �On these.�

Alexis looks down on them and then back at him. �What are they, your fan mail.� Ned laughs. �There aren�t any pictures of half naked woman in them are there?�

Ned reaches over and pulls her into a kiss. �No they happen to be wedding invitations.�

�Who�s getting married?� She asks as she bites her lower lip.

Ned shakes his head. �We are remember, Dec 31st.�

Alexis takes a deep breath and gets up. �That date vaguely sounds familiar.� She stops and spins around. �Isn�t Dec 31st the night we meet or something like that?�

Ned stands up as well. �You mean you don�t remember?�

�How could I possible forget. You were trying to kill the poor little Christmas tree, while we both were trying to kill our brain cells and forget our family troubles as well.�

Ned walked up to her and kissed her. �See you do remember.�

They kiss for a while and things were about to heat up when Ned broke the kiss.

�What�d you do that for?� Alexis asked.

Ned raised his eyebrows at her. �Oh I get it, I can�t kiss your neck while you�re working but you can roam your hands across my oh so sexy body and get me hot while trying to avoid planning our wedding.�

�Something like that.� She replied as she pulled him into another kiss.

Ned broke the kiss and pushed her back. �As tempting as you are my love and trust me, you are diffidently tempting.� He said while exploring her body with his eyes. �I�m not going to allow you to distract me from my goal.�

Alexis looked at him seductively as she lends her body into his and grabs his ass. �But I bet I can.�

�Hey you don�t play fair, besides I�m the only one who gets to do that.� He said as he smacked her ass and made her jump. �Now are you going to tell me which wedding invitation you like or am I going to have to choose one without you.� Alexis doesn�t say anything as Ned just stares at her. �Maybe I�ll ask Chloe to help me since she did such a great job picking out ours.�

Alexis gave him a look and grabbed the samples off the table. �I�ll pick out my own invitations thank you.� She said rather coldly and walked over to the couch.

Ned was very pleased with himself and he made sure by the look on his face that she knew he won.

Across town Nikolas, Emily, Lucky and Liz were all eating lunch at Kelly�s.

�So what do you guys want to do tonight?� Emily asked as she ate one of Nikolas� fries.

�I don�t know. Maybe we could just go back to Nikolas� and hang out.� Liz replied.

�Sounds good to me.� Em stated as she took another fri.

Nikolas grabbed her hand. �I thought you told me you couldn�t eat french fries they were too fattening.�

�I know but they taste so good.� Emily chuckled.

�Face it Nikki next time you need to buy her, her own.� Lucky shot back.

Nikolas gave lucky a look. �Nobody but Lu-Lu gets to call me Nikki.�

�Nikki, Nikki, Nikki.� Emily began to chant.

�That�s it I�ve had enough of you.� Nikolas replied as he grabbed her and threw her on his lap and tickled her.

�Stop.� Emily yelled through laughter. �You�re making me cry.�

�Maybe we should leave these two alone.� Liz said jokingly to Lucky.

�Maybe they should get a room.� Lucky joked back.

�I heard that.� Nikolas replied as he stopped tickling Emily. �Besides why do we need a room��.. I�ve got my own place.� He joked.

�So are we going to hang out at Nikki� tonight or what.� Emily said laughing.

Nikolas put his arms around her throat and pretended to choke her.

�Yea say around seven.� Liz said while getting up.

�Works for me.� Lucky added.

�Great then. I�ll see you guys later I need to get back to work before Tammy has a heart attack.� Liz said as she walked away.

�Well I�m out of here as well.� Lucky said as he waved goodbye.

�Well it looks like its only you and me kid, so what do you want to do?� Nikolas asked.

Emily got up off of Nikolas lap. �We could always go back to the house and take a swim.�

�Sounds like fun.�

�Oh wait.� Em said �Don�t you have to get back to L&B?�

�Nope, I don�t have anything there that can�t wait till tomorrow.� Nikolas replied as he took her hand and they walked off.

~ Quatermaine pool ~

�So are you coming in or what.� Emily asked as she splashed water at him.

Nikolas laughed as he jumped in doing a cannonball right next to her. Water flew everywhere as Emily placed her hands over her face. Nikolas came up behind her and grabbed her around the waist, causing her to jump and spin around in his arms. Her lips passed across his and they both stopped dead in their tracks. Time seemed to stop as they just stood their face to face feeling each other�s hot breath against their own. Nikolas moved his hands up her back and pulled her body closer to hers as they locked lips. Nikolas broke the kiss and looked into her eyes. She didn�t say a word as she slowly brought her lips closer to his. He willingly took that as a sign that she wanted more, so he crashed his lips upon hers once again. The kiss became intense as his hands careful made its way around to the front of her. He knew that she was still pure and decided to stop before he placed his hands any further up her stomach. Emily grabbed his hand and placed it there for him, his touch felt so good and she wanted more. Nikolas once again broke the kiss as they both tried to catch their breath. Emily took his hand in hers and lends him out of the pool and into the pool house. She took off the top of her bathing suit as Nikolas eye�s nearly popped out. Neither spoke a word as he walked closer and put his hands on her waist pulling her into another kiss. She took his hands and slid them down her body as he grabbed her bottoms and removed them. Emily grabbed a hold of his soaking wet baiting suit and tried to remove them as well. Nikolas grabbed her hands and pulled them away as he broke the kiss and began trailing kisses along her neck. He untied the string that was holding his suit up and slowly pushed them off, stepping out of them as he pushed her back onto the couch. He placed his wet naked body on top of hers and brought his lips to hers as they both experienced a new kind of love.
