Chapter 8 Ned and Alexis got back to the penthouse and Ned went straight to the couch. "Can you believe her? Coming down there and just causing trouble. And what about that thing of her moving back to Post Charles?" Ned said with his hands on his head. Alexis walked over and picked up Ned's feet to sit down. "Some people will go to any lengths to get what they want and right now all Lois wants is you. And how can she not?" Alexis said moving in for a kiss. "We have to get her to understand that I love you. This can't be good for Brooke." Ned said taking Alexis into his arms and pulling her down on top of him. "No it can't be good for her. I don't know what to do though." She said rubbing her hand back and forth on his stomach. "Let's just not think about Lois right now." She said unbuttoning Ned's shirt. "Sounds like a good idea to me." Ned said flipping over so Alexis was on the bottom and kissing her. "This is making me feel a lot better." He said smiling down at Alexis. "Doesn't it." Alexis said . The next morning both Ned and Alexis were woke up by the pounding on the door. "Who in the world could that be this early in the morning?" Ned said getting out of the bed and putting on his robe. "Hang on!" He yelled. When he opened the door he was shocked to see both Brooke Lynn and Lois standing infront of him. "Hi daddy!" Brooke Lynn said. "Sweetheart, who is it?" Alexis said coming down the stairs in her nightgown and robe. "Alexis!" Yelled Brooke Lynn running in the door right into Alexis' arms. "Hi there. Don't you look pretty." Alexis said looking over at Ned still glaring at Lois in the doorway. "Why don't we go into the kitchen and get something to eat while your mommy and daddy have a little talk." Alexis said taking Brooke Lynn's hand a leading her into the kitchen out of the line of fire. When they we out of the room Lois looked at Ned. "May I come in?" "What are you doing here?" Ned said in a stern, but low voice. "Brooke Lynn wanted to see her dad." Lois said pushing her way past Ned into the penthouse. "This is nice." She said looking around. "A little snooty, but nice." "Lois, if all you are going to do is put down my home then please leave. I will get Brooke back to you later. I will spend the day with her." Ned said shutting the door and walking over to Lois. "Your home? This is where you are going to live after you get married? Next to Sonny Corinthos. That doesn't seem like you. After all you hate him after what he did to Brenda." Lois said in a shocked voice . "This is where we live, yes. And this is where we are going to live until we start a family. As for Sonny, we hardly ever see him. Lois s what do you want really?" Ned said getting annoyed again. "Like I said I was just dropping Brooke Lynn off to spend the day with her dad. Can you drop her off at the Gatehouse later?" Lois asked walking back over to the door. "Yes. Good-bye Lois." He said pushing her towards the door. "Good-bye pumpkin, bye Alexis!" Lois screamed over her shoulder . "Bye mommy!" Brooke Lynn yelled from the kitchen. "Bye Ned." Lois said giving him a long kiss on the cheek. "Bye." Ned said pushing her out the door and shutting it behind her. Alexis and Brooke Lynn walked out. "It looks like Brooke is going to spend the day with us." Ned said picking her up. "Yeah!" Brooke Lynn giggled. |
