Chapter 10 The next morning Alexis got up and against Ned's will she went over to the Gatehouse to talk to Lois about her and Ned. When she got there Lois was shocked to see Alexis at the door, with no Ned. "Hi. Come on in." Lois said surprised. "Where is Ned?" "Oh he went over to L&B. I came to talk to you about Ned." Lois's expression changed at the sound of his name. "What about?" She asked. Alexis shook her head and smiled. "About the fact that you want to get back with him. You look a little surprised. Ned and I share everything with each other. That is love, we don't hide anything." Lois' expression changed again, but this time to anger. "You have no right to come over here and treat me like this. Ned does love me, he just doesn't remember what we had together." "That's it Lois what you had together. It is over and now Ned and I are together. We have been for four years. I accept him for everything he is, Ned Ashton the business man and Eddie Maine the rock star. You only wanted one of them." Alexis said getting a little angry herself. "That is not true. I love Ned too and I have one up on you, we have a daughter together." Lois said acting like a child. "You can't use Brooke against him, you know he loves her. Your daughter needs to be loved not used to get her mom and dad back together, when her dad wants to be with someone else." Alexis said getting really mad. "Ned loves me and will come back to me once he sees that I am his true love." Lois said glaring over at Alexis. "Have you ever heard of soulmates? People who are meant to be together. Well that is what Ned and I are to each other. You were just a stepping stone for him to find me." Alexis said. "Get out of her. Wait until I tell Ned what you have said to me." Lois said pushing Alexis to the door. Alexis turned around one last time and said "That's it go and run to tell Ned. You don't think I am going to tell him what I said. Like I said we don't hold anything back from each other. We have a grown-up relationship." With that Lois pushed out the door and slammed it shut. After Alexis left the Gatehouse she went to meet Ned at L&B. "How did it go?" Ned asked when Alexis walked in the door. She took and deep breathe. "I lost my temper and said some rude things, but I think she deserved them." Then she told everything that happened. Ned took her in his arms and said "It's okay. You shouldn't have gone over there anyway." Just then his phone rang. "Hello. Ned Ashton. Lois! Alexis told me everything that went on and I don't care what you have to say. Good-bye!" Ned hung up and shut off his phone so she couldn't call back later. "Ned I am really worried about her." Alexis said a little scared. "She is acting like Helena. Nothing will stop her." "Shhh, it's okay I will take care of this once and for all. You don't worry about it." Ned said reassuring her and rubbing her back. |
