Viruses, Bacteria ,Protista and Fungi
Plants
Information storage and transfer in cells
Cell reproduction
Genetics
Human Biology

Assessment:
The class work grade, which is converted to 75%, is divided up as
follows:
Homework 5%
Class participation 10% ( coming prepared & on time ,cooperative
learning)
Quizzes 15%
Tests 40%
Labs for the course 15%
1 project per Term 15%
The exam is worth 25 %
*** Home work and lab reports must be submitted on time, marks will
be deducted for late submissions.
Expectations:
This course will enable students to
design experiments and carry out laboratory investigations in a
highly scientific manner . It will also develop their Scientific
thinking skills and encourage them to respect the living world
around us .Especially to be more concerned about the environment
This course is a good preparation for those who wish to take AP
Biology in Grade 11 or 12.
