An Introduction

Hey there! My name is Neil Kothari, and I'm a first-year internal medicine resident at Bellevue Hospital / NYU Medical Center in New York City. For medical school, I attended the New Jersey Medical School in Newark, part of UMDNJ. I graduated from Columbia University in New York City in February 1996 with a BA in Biology and Middle Eastern and Asian Languages and Cultures (MEALAC). For high school, I attended Montville Township High School in good ol' Montville, New Jersey. My birthdate is March 1, 1974, and my ethnicity is Gujarati Indian.

My main interest is in music, from buying up as many Compact Disc's as possible to going to tons of concerts. During college, I used to host an amazing four-hour weekly radio show on WKCR-FM New York (89.9) called "Transfigured Night."

Currently, I maintain An Excess of INXS, the oldest and most popular INXS internet site, launched in 1994. In 1997 I developed SHAREweb, the official home page of The S.H.A.R.E. Center, the student-run community service umbrella organization of NJMS in which I serve as a Past Student Director.

Something I've been meaning to do for many years is put up some scanned pictures of myself, family, and friends. Well, I have finally begun. The first picture is up: Click here!

You can leave me a message with comments, suggestions, or hey - just say hi!
