The fountain in front of Paris looked inviting on a hot day.  We took an exhilarating ride up the "Eifel Tower" for a dizzying view of the Strip and the desert beyond.
Then a tour of the Lion Habitat at the MGM Grand, which of course ends at the inevitable souvenier shop ...
Who needs Siegfried & Roy when we've got Rick Thomas ...
Rick Who?

But what to do when you're a single parent trying to make ends meet and tickets to see "designer" illusionists cost close to $100 a pop?  Currently playing at the Tropicana, the $16.95 price was too good to beat ($14.95 if you use the coupons from the complimentary magazines your hotel gives you).

Drinks not included, but self-seating arrangements allowed us to grab front row seats.  And you still get the white tigers and the beautiful dancing ladies. Rest assured, it was a family show with plenty of audience participation, especially the kids.
