Disciplines in Taekwondo Taekwondo has four disciplines which are: 1. Pattern 2. Free Sparring 3. Self Defense 4. Breaking Objectives of Taekwondo 1. To develop an appreciation for Taekwondo as a sport and as an art. 2. To achieve physical fitness through positive participation 3. To improve mental discipline and emotional equanimity 4. To learn self defense skills 5. To develop a sense of responsibility to yourself and others General rules to behave in the Dojang - Always wear a clean Dobok - Clean hands, feet, short nails - Don't wear sharp things - no jewelry allowed - Don't drink, smoke or eat in Dojang - Be on time - Please make a proper bow when entering and leaving - Don't talk, unless it is necessary We provides students of all levels an opportunties to learn and improve their skills and to grow as martial artists. By being a part of the club, members shall have the following opportunities : Intensive Training - Classes and workouts are held 2 times a week . A great way yo stay fit. Meet New Friends - Club members grow closer through the shared experience of learning and overcoming new challenges. Competitions - Students can learn and participate in semi-contact tournament. We encourage everyone to give it try and experience Taekwondo for themselves. New members are always welcome at anytime to the Deens Taekwondo Club. Absolutely no experience is required - just lots of enthusasm and willingness to get a great workout.
