NATHALY J. VERMETTE received her Bachelor of Civil Law degree from Universit� de Montr�al in 1993 and became a member of the Quebec Bar in 1994. While in private practice, she pursued her Masters of Law (LL.M.) degree at Universit� de Montr�al, which she completed in February 2000. The subject matter of Nathaly's thesis relates to internet domain names and trade-marks in an international context.

Nathaly has published several articles and has made numerous presentations on the intellectual property issues related to the internet in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom and has on several occasions been interviewed on television in her field of expertise. Nathaly is currently in the process of writing a French textbook on trademarks for the province of Quebec.

Nathaly practices law in Montreal, Quebec Canada in the area of corporate and commercial law, with a specialisation in technology and intellectual property law. Nathaly handles a large number of trade-mark, domain name and copyright registrations and disputes on behalf of clients. She also has considerable experience in the areas of electronic commerce, entertainment, multimedia and internet gaming. In addition, she regularly assists clients with a variety of commercial agreements, including employment and consulting agreements, commercial lease agreements and shareholders' agreements.
