Mate the best leaders with the best equipment. This is a universal adage with war gaming, and it holds true here. Don't put that ace tanker in charge of a unit of Mark IVs, when he could have Tigers.

Paper, rock, scissors; believe it, live it. Don't use tanks against cities or bombers against fighters. You have to use the right units at the right time to win.

Try to end each fighter's turn adjacent to a bomber and over a friendly unit. Doing so makes the fighter protect both units.

Cheat:
Edit the scorch.cfg File

You should see a configuration file with lots of variables. Scroll down a bit until you reacha line that reads:

Initial_Cash=xxxxx (xx could be any number).

Delete this number and enter 100000000
(one hundred million) in its place.
Now save this file and run the game.
You will now have your $100 million.

NOTE:
If you are careful, you can change any of the variables in the config file.
As usual, remember to back up your files.
