1. Do not hesitate to change from real time to turn base mode. Especially if you face a tougher opponent (such as death claw, turret etc).

2. Always sent someone as a scout to check the situation (you better have someone with silent running ability to do this job) before you decide to jump in to fire fight.

3. Burst mode is cool for 'commando rush' tactic or close combat but single shot with aiming mode on from a distance could finish the enemy much faster.
