Norwegian Adventure - Part One
Despite some rough weather, my trusty guide and flyfishing master Einar put us on some great grayling fishing amidst the mountains and valleys of Norway. When the weather turned too bad, we headed to E's lake cabin for some trout action that was as unbelievable as the temperatures were! Check out these pictures and see what the best part of my European vacation was!

Top Left - The master lands a nice grayling using his patented "grayling fly" on a small river near his cousin's farm. Top Right - The rookie with his second, and biggest grayling of the expedition, coming on an explosive strike elicited by the now legendary grayling fly. Bottom Left - E watches the river for rising grayling as a storm envelopes the mountains in the distance. The storm would spell the end of the great two hour run of grayling fishing, and would start us on our trip further north into the mountains of Norway

Above - Einar landed this healthy brown trout as the clouds began to clear around a small lake near his cabin in the mountains. Top Right - Yours truly with my first and only arctic char (measuring 18 inches and in brilliant full spawning color) to come on the spinning rod for the vacation. Bottom Right - The student and the master celebrate a perfect double with a quick photo of two of the day's biggest brown trout. Nice hat huh?
