BASSTACULAR
A summer filled with studying and unstable weather did not provide the best opportunities to get on some fish, but I still managed a good daily ratio of Bar Exam preparation and fishing time.  Check out these sweet largemouth bass I caught throughout the months of June and July.
Top Left - My biggest bass to date: 21" long and a tough fighter caught near Detroit Lakes.
Bottom Left - An 18-inch largemouth from the same area.
Above - A fat 20-incher, she was released to spawn.
Top Left - A chunky 18" July bass taken from under a dock on Big Detroit Lake on a Chompers tube - quite possibly man's greatest invention yet!
Bottom Left - A 20" beast caught and released at a dock just down the beach from the cabin on Detroit Lakes.  Again, the Chompers tube comes through, this time in root beer color.
Above - A nice 19" largemouth brings a close to three weeks of great dock fishing on Detroit Lake.  Chompers and Senkos did the trick this season in Minnesota, and hopefully will next season.
In all, I caught 60 bass, with many of them two pounds or larger.  Tight Lines!
