| In preparation for finals week, I decided it would be best to come home and get my mind some rest. Of course that meant fishing, but it was hardly any rest at all the way the fish were hitting. Check out these photos of some of the great fish which were caught and released in the Sheyenne River this weekend! | |||||||||||||||||||

| Left: Yours truly, Nick Simonson, with a dandy 18-inch smallmouth caught on a black gypsi jig in the Sheyenne River. Lower Left: A nice 17-inch smallie caught and released near the Rainbow Bridge in Valley City. She came up from about 9 feet of water and smashed the jig just as we were heading for a new spot! Lower Right: A great looking 22.5 inch walleye, coming in the evening on the Sheyenne just north of Valley City. |
