Orienteering Team

The Orienteering team is a very physical team, Cadets must be in top physical condition to overcome the obstacles and required exertions during competition. The team learns advanced map reading using topographical maps. Before competition time they are broken up into three teams of three, and there must be at least one female and one male in each. They use their prelearned aggresive map reading skills to pinpoint areas and locate their standpoints.

In our last Orienteering Meet, we did an outstanding job placing 1st with Team 2 and 2nd with Team 1. An outstanding effort went into this meet and we now stand as the Horry County Orienteering Champions as a result to our victory at the meet.
