INTRODUCTION
New Jersey International Open University is
a private university online. It is a distance learning project. Internet law college is affiliated with New Jersey International Open University. Pir S.A.Rashid a Senior Advocate of Lahore has been awarded PhD degree by njiou in view of his meritorious educational background, his rich knowledge of computer and internet technologies as applicable to education in general and law in particular and for his most commendable dissertation/thesis on "Distance Learning and its latest techniques"Pir S.A.Rashid has been appointed "Local Chairman" and "Resident Director Pakistan" for the Internet Law College
in Pakistan and the college has been affiliated with njiou. ILC has presently started LL.M degree program in Pakistan.REQUIREMENTS FOR THE AWARD OF LL.M DEGREE
1-You must be an Advocate
2-You must have at least 5 years’ standing at the bar out of which you must have been an advocate of any High Court in Pakistan for at least two years.
3-You must write a thesis/dissertation on a subject relating to your field of legal practice selected by you and approved by ILC. You will complete the thesis at your convenience. You will not have to attend any class. You will however keep in touch with ILC through e-mail etc. You must study your subject of thesis thoroughly and take at least three months to complete your thesis. There is however no upper time limit fixed. You may take as much time as you like.
After successfully completing your thesis under our guidance and supervision you will submit the same in duplicate to Internet Law College and you will then be awarded your cherished degree which will be sent to you by e-mail.
PROCEDURE OF APPLICATION
You can make your application for admission/registration on a plain paper enclosing therewith copies of your documents showing that you fulfill the minimum requirement of admission
FEES
With your application for admission you will enclose a bank draft of 20 American Dollars or 1200/- Pak rupees in favor of PIR S.A.RASHID RESIDENT DIRECTOR ILC as non- refundable admission/registration fee.
After your subject of thesis has been selected by you and approved by ILC you will pay non-refundable additional amount of 130 American Dollars or 7800/- Pak rupees by bank draft before starting your work. This amount however may be paid in two installments of 70 American dollars when you start your thesis and the next installment of 60 dollars within three months thereafter but before the degree is awarded to you.
