| Welcome to another exciting year with the North Middle School Bands!!! As some of you may or may not know, Miss Wiggins has become the new band director at Daviess County High School. I can assure you that Miss Wiggins would have welcomed the opportunity to let all of her students and parents know of her decision, but unfortunately the opportunity presented itself after school was out for the summer. We wish her the best of luck with her new musical endeavors and opportunities!! I would like to welcome all of you back for another great year of music making! As I am getting my feet wet, getting to know a WHOLE lot of faces and names, and starting to find my way around the Henderson area, please take a moment and stop by the band room to introduce yourself and say hello. As all of us know, the beginning of the school year can sometimes prove to be very hectic. For parents, I will be sending home information within the first few weeks orienting you to our band program and things your child might need for success in the North Bands. For 6th grade beginning band students/parnets, if you have not secured an instrument to play yet, please visit H & H music in Evansville (before school starts) -- they will get you set up. They can be reached at: 1-800-442-1313. Again, I am so excited to be a part of the long tradition that the North Bands have come to know over the years.
