This is the age old paintball debate, of which of form paintball is the best. Speeball is usually responible for most of the techonological advances, but woodsball requires for what some think more intelligence. Usually woodsball appeals to the more miltary or newbie type crowd looking to recreate a scene in the a movie or in history. Where as speedball is the appeals to more of the adrenline junkies looking for a nonedurance cheap thrill. Speeball usually requires faster accuracy where as in woodsball you can aim for 10 or more seconds at a time where in speedball thats unheard of. But speedball can also be the more expensive and wasting form of paintball where in one game 500 rounds is the usuall amount per person where as in woodsball 300 rounds is way too much paint. Speedballl is bringing the future of paintball to new levels, where woodsball is more the intelligent game. But the Future of paintball being a televised sport will be more in the form of speedball or the newest form of Xball, more on that later, instead of woodsball.
I really dont know if there is any truth or is this a whole lie behind the owner of Radio Shack buying out the old Ames store and turning it into two indoor paintball field. This rumor may be bases on all hope and wanting to have local indoor fields in the area but a few weeks ago the local newspaper reported that the Ames was bought out and was going to be turned into eleven smaller stores. I and many other players in the area would like to know if any of this is true.
