FRIDAY RACE SCHEDULE

SEPTEMBER, OCTOBER, NOVEMBER 2009

1/32 SCALE

September 4 - Scalextric BMW Minis –Stock crash and burn, 8 lap heats.  This race is for Scalextric BMW Minis only and the single magnet may be in any position.   Stock rear hubs may have slip on silicones.  NINCO Minis –crash and burn, 8 lap heats. We will run this as a single magnet or no magnet race depending on interest, if we race this as a  no magnet class, Scalextric BMW Minis may run no magnet in this class as well.  With no magnet, weight may be added.

September 11 - 1960’s GT – Box stock rules for this race which will allow Ford GT 40’s (NOT new Ford GT’s) and the Ferrari 330P4, Ferrari 512, Porsche 917, and Porsche Carrera 6 Scalextric or Fly only, with stock motors. These must be closed cockpit cars that ran in the 1960s.  All cars must have NO magnet and may run stock or silicone rear tires on stock rims. 

September 18 - Scalextric Trans Am.  Mustangs and Camaros Super Stock rules.  Some new paint schemes are available on these very fast cars.

 September 25 IROC GO KARTS – repeat of a huge success last year.  There will be 4 stock tired Ninco go carts available and you just bring your controller and entry fee. Box stock.  A second race will be offered for BOX stock 1/43 closed wheel cars by Carrera GO.  This includes, but is not limited to Minis, Corvettes, Vipers, Subaru WRX, etc.  Carrera 1/43 F1 are not allowed in this race.. 

October 2 – Ninco World Cup Challenge cars – while I will not be hosting a Ninco Regional World Cup Challenge Race this year, there have been many requests to run these cars.  Ninco World Cup rules apply.  Go to http://www.modelrec.com/events/World%20Cup%202009/Race%20Rules%202009.pdf for the official race rules.  The simple version: Ninco World Cup. Any Ninco Pro Race parts. Must Run Shure A25 tires and NC6 Crusher motor. No magnet, No weight.

October 9-.  Slot It Porsche 956’s and 962’s –with over 10 different liveries this is limited to just Porsches – Any motor cradle, any motor NO MAGNET, weights okay, silicones on stock rims okay.

October 16 -Modern Formula one and IRL Scalextric, SCX, Ninco, etc. Formula one and IRL Indy cars all stock except Super tire or Indy grip silicones are allowed on stock wheels. 

October 23– Modern NASCAR –Allowed are any MODERN Scalextric, SCX or Carrera NASCAR, NO MAGNET, with silicones on stock hubs. If time permits we will run a second class IROC NASCAR This race will feature 4 identically prepared Super Stock Scalextric Nascars.  Like the go karts you need your entry fee and controller only. 

October 30- Scalextric/Cartrix/Slot Indy vintage F1 race- this race allows Maserati, Ferrari, Mercedes and Cooper, etc  vintage F1 cars with NO magnets BUT weights may be added,  Silicones on rear stock rims only.

November 6-- Vintage Fly/GB racers (Chevrons, Porsches, open cockpit, etc) – Super stock.  If time permits a second race will be offered this night using the same cars with no traction magnets, weights (no limit) may be added. The no magnet race may also include Slotter and Slot It Can Ams with no magnet. 

November13- Carrera Hot Rods and Willys –Allowed are any of the Carrera 32 Fords or 41 Chevies.  Cars must be box stock.

November 20 Ninco Vintage Night – This will be Ninco Classic cars (Jaguar 120’s, Porsche 356’s, Ferrari 133’s, 57 Corvettes,  etc) with NC1 motors ONLY and Box stock rules. I still  have a FEW NC1 adaptors and motors left to convert over Ninco cars equipped with larger motors.   The NC8 motor is NOT acceptable

November 27 OPEN HOUSE 6- 9 PM. Bring your favorite cars and spend some time ‘schmoozing’ with fellow racers. Kick off the Christmas season by putting together your ‘slot car Christmas List’  10% discount to any 1/32 cars or sets purchased this evening (does not apply to lay-aways or special orders)

December 4 Modern LMP – This race will include Scalextric MG Lolas, Cadillac LMP,  Porsche Spyders, Audi R10’s, Scx R8’s and R10’s, Fly Panoz LMP, Spirit Courage and Advan Slot Courgae.  We will be racing NO MAGNET, with any wheels, tires or gears.  Motors may not exceed 21,000 RPM. 

December 11 – Scalextric Mini day/night Rallye –Time to take out your one magnet, slip on siliconed Mini Cooper from September 5^th and race in the dark.  BMW Minis only in this enduro style race.  If time permits we will run a second race with Austin Mini Coopers only.  This will be a NO MAGNET race with any of the Scalextric or SCX Austin Mini Coopers.

December 18^th –Modern GT’’s –This is a no magnet race limited to the following  GT class cars (Vipers, Corvettes,Ferrari 430’s, Lamborghini Gallardo GT, Aston Martin DBR9, Jaguar XKR, Porsche 911 GT3, Venturi, BMW M3 ) raced after 1997 any brand, motor under 20000 rpm and silicones on stock rims.   

NOTE:  There is a separate Sunday race schedule for 1/32 cars for the first time ever.  Increase your fun and race one or more of the series offered on successive Sundays.   . 

All regular races run at 14 Volts unless otherwise announced.  No Magnet races run at 12 Volts and weights may be added to no magnet cars (except Ninco World Cup)
