Up, down, 'round and 'round,
This day turned my life upside down.
One day, he was okay,
The next would cause him not to stay.
Yes, he had a disease
And no. that was not good.
Yet he stayed in high spirits,
Also on good feelings he's stood.
On Thursday he wasn't too bad,
Though Friday had proved to be sad.
All day at school with a thought that was a bother:
"Today could be the last day to be with my father."
That day was very, very sad,
Though one good thing came from all the pain he had:
Before being taken up above,
He learned about Jesus' awesome love!
He was the best dad anyone could ever have,
Also, as a friend, he made everyone laugh.
Up in heaven, for eternity he'll stay,
I hope to be with him again one day.
Now he's in such a wonderful place,
With God, Jesus, and all of their grace.
Taken by cancer, what a horrible killer,
But after asking for forgiveness, he's no longer a sinner.
I love my dad, and miss him so.
Yet I still feel his spirit with me, though.
My mom, brothers, family and friends
Will remember Glen Draughn till the very end.
