Christian Conduct

1. A weekly team rating will be used in determining good sportsmanship. The breakdown of the ratings is as follows:

  1 - Poor (requires explanation)
  2 - Fair (comments desired)
  3 - Good (no problems)
  4 - Very Good
  5 - Exceptional

2. A score of three (3) is considered a good conduct rating. Serious consideration should be exercised when giving the Christian Conduct scores. A score of five (5) is only to be considered and given to a team that truly exemplifies Christ both on and off the field.
3. In the event of a forfeit, the team that forfeits the game will receive a conduct score from the opposing team. The team that receives the forfeit will not be awarded a conduct score for that game. Instead, that teams conduct rating will be averaged by the number of games that team plays.
4. No unnecessary roughness on the bases will be permitted (i.e., bowling over a fielder).
5. Any player who is ejected from a game, for whatever reason, will automatically miss the next game (regular game or playoff game). Any player that is ejected a second time in that season, for whatever reason, will be suspended for the remainder of the season or a minimum of six (6) games. If the player does not miss six (6) games, the remaining portion will carry over to the following season. Playoff and Championship games are not excluded from this ruling.
6. There will be no smoking, drinking or abusive language while on the premises before, during, and after the game. One complaint results in a warning to the team. Two complaints will result in the forfeiture of the following weeks game. If the complaint is for the same player, the player will be removed from the League.
7. Shirts are to be worn at all times while playing. Uniforms are at the discretion of the individual teams.
8. The President and the Rules Committee reserves the right to remove a representative who cannot or will not control his team. The Rules Committee currently consists of the following members:
Jim Gearl            Green Pond Church
Mike LaBarr        Cornerstone Christian
Jim Lipuma         Jacksonville Chapel
9. The President of the League will be part of the Rules Committee.
10.  Any changes, deletions, or additions to the League Constitution must be approved by a majority vote of the League Representatives.
