NJC98S12@2001 > Gathering updates
It's really
difficult for everyone of us to get together for a chat these days. Busy
schedules, a mountain of assignments, a tonner full of extra duties and
confinements... it really is hard being former classmates. But in the
midst of it there are occassions which most of us really got together.
Here's the place for updates of such gatherings. Right now there's only
worded commentary, but in the future when my pockets become a bit loose
I might get a digital camera to share the pics online... so here you are
with the gathering updates - which stands at 1 at the moment... if there's
more please let me know, as usual...

Dinner
at Breeks! |
Attended: |
[Guys]
Gim Teck, Yunxi, Jack, Kin Ching
[Girls] Hwee Shi, Vina, Yushan, Xueling, Anelia, Sin Ling |
In
between the Christmas and Hari Raya Puasa public holidays, it was
a day that most guys are on leave/off from NS (with the exception
of Kin Ching, who was on day duty that day), while the girls were
still in their university holidays. The whole lot had dinner at Breeks
in Wisma Atria Shopping Centre, chatted for quite some time in the
process as well. It was great seeing one another again, as most have
not met for close to a year. |

A
formal gathering at last, but nevertheless it was a brilliant one.
After a meal at some Italian restaurant which made us feel that our
Italian was limited to stuffs like fungi, most of us had a good time
at a karaoke lounge at Cuppage. All of us there enjoyed ourselves,
and we discovered for ourselves just how good can the NJ choir be,
judging from the singing abilities of Vina and Xueling, 2 former Choir
members. Some songs on display were: Xin Tong by Kit Chan, Gu Xing
Lei by Andy Lau, Cheng Quan by Rene Liu Ruoying, and Bu Xiang Du Zhi
Kuai Le by William So, the only Cantonese song yesterday (which was
of course being performed by the Webmaster himself... heh heh). |

Next gathering:
Will someone please organise!!! If successfully scheduled I will try to
get my hands on a digital camera so we can take a couple of pics - and
see how we all look like now, compared to the times in college.
