John N. Conover - 48th regiment
Killed in action at Ft.Pulaska,Ga.
William A. Conover - Col. Medical Director.
taken at Matamoras Mexico January 1, 1866.
William was a surgeon during the civil war, and later was part of a large force that went to Texas to encourage the french to leave Mexico.
He was comissioned an assistant surgeon on October 13, 1862, and a surgeon on March 8,1863. Mustered out of service on March 13, 1866.
Augustus M. Denyse - Co.A 21st regiment
William Provoost - d.6/2/1864-Srgt.Co.H 4th reg.N.J.V. Wounded at Cold Habor on the 1st and died on the 2nd.
