Jacked-Up Jambalaya Chet's Crock Mailing List Courtesy of Francois Robichaeux Serves 6 1 cup cooked rice 1/2 lb cooked shelled shrimp 2 cup beef broth or bouillon 8 oz chicken breast, chopped 4 oz smoked sausage, chopped 1/2 tsp salt 1/8 tsp cayenne 2 tsp oregano leaves, chopped 2 tsp chopped thyme leaves 2 tbs minced parsley 1 clove garlic, crushed 1 cup chopped celery 2 medium tomatoes, chopped 1 onion, chopped 1 bell pepper, chopped 2 jalapeno peppers, chopped Shell shrimp and then halve lengthwise. In your crock pot, combine all ingredients except shrimp and rice. Cover and cook on low 9-10 hours. Turn slow cooker on high, add cooked shrimp and cooked rice. Cover and cook on high 20-30 minutes.
