Caramel Popcorn Chet's Crock Recipes: 1 stick (8 tbsp.)magarine 7 cups popped corn 1 cup of brown sugar 3/4 cup of Karo Syrup, molasses, honey or frozen fruit concentrate 1/4 tsp. baking soda Peanuts (optional) Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Pop corn, put in a large, deep baking dish, and set aside. Melt margarine in a large saucepan. Brown sugar and syrup. Boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, and add baking soda. Pour over popcorn and mix quickly. Add nuts if desired. Put in oven for 1 hour, and stir every 15 minutes. Remove from oven and pour onto large, clean area. Separate at once.
