Nixon Tennis Club Denounces CA Recall;
Will Not Recognize "Usurpers" 17/8/2003

Orange County - The Richard M. Nixon Tennis and Debate Club today officially condemned the effort to recall California Governor Gray Davis.

"This is a travesty.  Yet another effort by the Christian Republican Party to overturn an election," said Information Minister Brad J. P. Napientek.  "They nominated a lame candidate last November and want a do-over, I'm sorry but they can't do that."

Mr. Napientek went on to say this unacceptable miscarriage of democracy may force the entire club into exile across state lines. "Its something we may have to seriously consider."

By a vote of 5-0, the club's ruling council adopted this formal policy:

It is the official position of the Richard M. Nixon Tennis and Debate Club that Joseph Graham "Gray" Davis is the thirty-seventh Governor of California and shall remain so until his current and final term expires in January of 2007.  The Richard M. Nixon Tennis and Debate club will not, under any circumstances, recognize the results of the right wing coup bought and paid for by Darrell Issa, or any of the usurpers trying to steal the California governorship though this illegitimate recall.
