| A husband willing to assume spiritual leadership of the family. A partner in parenting, not just in the baby-making. A husband who will care about the things that matter to her and provide her the opportunity to pursue her desires, hopes and dreams. For her man not to love his work so much that she has to compete with it. (In other words, she needs him to love her and find more of his fulfillment in her, their marriage, and their family.) To be listened to. To be considered. To feel secure. To be valued for who she is, not just what she does for everyone. To be respected and taken seriously. To be appreciated- not taken for granted. A valiant defender, a knight in shining armor, not a lord. A real man who will take the most difficult role there is- leader -and do it justice. (He needs to be storng enogh to take charge, but wise enough to see and acknowledge her abilities, knowledge, and insights and to follow her lead when it's obvious she is the one who has what is needed.) |

| I feel compelled to say that no one person can, or was meant to, meet all of another person's needs. We can each benefit from a broader support system. And even then we'll have som e needs that only a personal relationship with God can fulfill. | ||||||||||||||
