| Hearts of Truth | ||||
| Venture into a depth of soul, Journey that causes my heart to tremble in rapture; Clear, bright eyes that sparkle with vitality, Here stands the keeper of my heart's captivity. Passing before my anxious eye, Were many a pleasure, venture, and fanciful flight. Though curiosity 'n' loneliness prompted a somber gaze, In true love alone would my life delight. Can I know, can I love? Even as Perfect Love His dear bride does cherish? Can I live, can I give? All that my mate does most assuredly embellish? I give myself absolutey and totally first, To He alone who makes me whole. And then with His grace, love 'n' power, I will commit my all to her every hour. Freedom is secured by walking in truthfulness. Utter nakedness of heart and soul feeds love. O' that God might grant to us at last, Hearts of truth that will hold us united, bound fast. |
